Mushroom pizza is delicious and uses all organic ingredients, albeit small (maybe 6 inch diameter). It feeds a single person for $10, so not a bad deal. The infamous smoothies are not worth it imo. I've had a few sips of friends' and one of my own. They're certainly good smoothies but not worth the $20+ price tag. If you have money to burn, which you probably do if you're visiting Erewhon, I think the coconut cloud smoothie is great. Plenty of outdoor seating with cooling in the summer. Nice place to sit outside and have a meal, if you're feeling financially adventurous.
Went to EREWHON to get some breakfast to go! I love the breakfast options because they look so delicious and tasty! The service was quick and easy! The staff always look so cheerful! The place was always look clean and well-organized
7/15/2026 Combo Plate (Main entree with choice of two sides) Wanted to get hot food to go. Got organic chicken breast with sides of white cheddar mac and cheese and sauteéd greens. Mac and cheese wasn't good. Only had a few bites and threw the rest away. The macaroni was cooked okay, but the white cheddar tasted a bit weird. A strange aftertaste. The flour was undercooked and raw flavor, so the alfredo sauce was not good. I really wanted mashed potatoes, which they did not have, so I got the white cheddar mac and cheese. The plate I ordered was the organic chicken which was $25 / pound. Combo plates are based off of 1 pound. It was not cheap for what it was, very little takeout box, but wanted to try their hot food. You can choose any style of protein of your choosing, but you can only order that specific protein at the hot food bar. However, when I asked if I can add one more side, they said I could not, as they've said that there's only three places in the takeout box, so I could only have two sides, which I thought odd! Overall, the food was okay, but probably due to the price, I will only order if I'm super hungry. Pizza Ordered their pizza from their hot bar too, which was $10.00 for a personal pan pizza. Reheated in the toaster oven and it was delicious! So much better than trying to get a slice of pizza from Whole Foods! Recommend Erewhon's pizza! Erewhon Drinks Love their Erewhon kombucha drinks and kefir soda drinks! My favorites is: Watermelon Lime, POG, Elderberry, Peaches & Cream. Erewhon Organic Chicken Free-range, vegetarian fed, no added hormones, air-chilled, non-GMO, gluten free. This was a skin on chicken breast with bones. This was half cheaper than the one without bone and skin, so got this. Delicious, flavorful and moist and so easy to cook in my Breville smart oven. I'm gonna continue buying! Eggs Got some free range, pasture raised, organic eggs from Kaliko Farms and Organick Pastures. Both were good! Organic Figs Happy to find organic figs here! Got their organic black mission figs, which is my favorite and their organic brown turkey figs. Both were ripe, sweet and delicious. Vandy Crisps This was okay. The chips were kettle style chips. Thickness and crunch were decent, but the flavor of the smoky BBQ tasted a bit off, a weird aftertaste. Probably won't get that flavor again. Got Vandy Crisps because they are made with cleaner ingredients. Free of seed oils and cooked in tallow. Bathroom I know people do not write on grocery bathrooms, but I will. This is for the women's bathroom. There are only two stalls and I love that it is more private because they are on the opposite side, no shared walls! The walls are brick walls and the door is thick too and lower to the ground than most public bathrooms. One large shared sink with three faucets. One thing I did not remember seeing is a baby changing station, which surprised me as most bathrooms do have them. The bathroom is clean, although not OCD clean. Outdoor Seats Many tables and cushioned seats as well for those who want to eat or drink there. It is clean and nice! Very inviting! I've been a returning customer at this location and will continue to return! CUSTOMER SERVICE I did not receive any customer service other than being at the register. Overall it was a good experience. Friendly and nice. PARKING Love that they have their own free parking garage! Parking can be packed here, as it is a shared space for other businesses too, but really appreciate free parking!
I have heard of Erewhon for a while now, but never had a chance to check them out until recently. They are known for their highly recommended organic products. This location is at The Shops on Lake Ave in Pasadena. Parking garage is conveniently nearby just next door. Staff was so friendly and nice especially the gentleman standing at the front greeting everyone who walked into the store. Thank you Sir! Outside patio area available for chilling and dining. Great inside space was bright and clean. Aisles were perfectly stocked and organized. Deli had so many freshly prepared hot and cold foods. I don't think I've ever seen so much pre-packaged foods. Food galore at first sight. My eyes widened by the section. It was like being in a food amusement park. It was really fun to peruse the aisles. So very cool! I couldn't choose with so many options in front of my eyes, but I did end up buying half a pound of Nolan Beet Salad, one container of chicken breast lemon herb, and one container of tumeric rice. One tiny gripe, the prices were outrageously high on certain food items... $20+ per lb. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and indulge a little on healthy clean foods. I was okay in spending over $26 on my small lunch meal. It probably won't be a regular thing though. Beet salad was delicious and light. Beets were very sweet... I'm getting one pound next time. Chicken was a bit dry... probably won't get again. Tumeric rice was pleasantly soft and tasty... worth getting again. My future visits would have to be longer so I can immersed myself in all of its organic-ness. I want to try their pre-packaged salmon plate, sushi, and of course, more sweet beets. I'm sure there are other foods I can indulge in. Yes, I'll be back despite of its pricey cost.
Gotta love this place! So many healthy, organic, clean food options. Shelves fully stocked and neatly organized. Lots of hot and cold dishes available. Fresh produce and juices in glass bottles. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wish I lived closer but I would be broke. Lol
Here at Erewhon, you can buy a variety of delicious meals from hot pizza to some fresh fruit smoothies. We both just got drinks and a yogurt that we just wanted to try and it was all worth the money. We would definitely come back here soon to try something new. The service staff were very helpful and kind when we walked in Erewhon. Ambiance hit the WOW! for me. It had great energy and great vibes. 10/10 experience.
Visiting for the week and on the top of my list was trying out the infamous smoothies here. Yes! They are truly worth it. Some of the finest ingredients used that no chain can produce. We also shopped around for snacks couldn't resist the immaculate sushi section. Beautifully displayed and the best market sushi I have tasted. I love torched (yakumi) fish on nirigis and chose the salmon. So glad I did bc I wasn't even that hungry but gladly inhaled 3 pieces from Hubs' box. DD loves crispy rice and got the imitation crab salad with freshly sliced avocado on top. Loved it! Before we left for home, we made another stop here for their hot deli breakfast bar and coffee bar and more smoothies. Yes, yes, yes. My eggs, potatoes and bacon box was tastier and fresher then sit down restaurants. DD loved her croissant eggs and ham sandwich. My vanilla latte was bold and packed a punch. This second time around the smoothies were a bit on the sweeter side. Wish we had a location up North. Couldn't resist the tote in an ARMY green. Structured and well made in nylon with a firm base.
This review is for the $25 smoothie. Let's just say I really wanted to hate this place. Was completely against the idea of a $25 smoothie, but was in a good mood so decided to take the plunge and find out for myself. The smoothie was good, damn good... maybe not "$25 good," but the truth is I can see myself getting another at some point. Tried the Malibu Mango and also the Sweet Boy soft serve. Both were tasty , the soft serve gave off Cinnamon Toast Crunch vibes. At the end of the day, I was oddly satisfied and would cautiously recommend it !
I'd say if you're going to erewhon, you're going for the experience. Erewhon is a fancy supermarket with amazing presentation. Even the groceries are lined up in the neatest formation and the hot bar looks so organized. We tried the strawberry glaze smoothie and Malibu mango. Both were very delicious and pretty sweet. Very overpriced but it's a once in a while treat, not a daily thing for me. It was quite busy at the tonic bar so definitely prepare to wait if it's a weekend! Overall, come to erewhon for a unique LA experience.
Got the Strawberry Smoothie for $25 and that was definitely the priciest smoothie I've gotten! It was very sweet on the bottom so be sure to stir it a lot! It was very thick in consistency and creamy. Definitely overrated and not worth the hefty price tag but it was a decent first time experience The Chicken Combo ($30) came with a choice of 3 chicken options (coconut chicken tenders, orange chicken, and rotesterrie chicken) & 2 sides Got the coconut chicken tenders and it was very dry and bland. Definitely don't recommend! The roasted sweet potatoes was very sweet and delicious The Mac and cheese was delicious! It was so creamy and cheesy! Very flavorful without being too salty

To be honest, I don't know how people shop here on the regular given the insane pricing on many things. At least for specific or unique products, it might be worth it. I was gonna buy some blueberries since I was there for a specific brand of oat milk, til I realized it was $12 a box of **DRISCOLL'S** organic berries. You... can get these at your local Ralph's too... However, Erewhon is fantastic for finding interesting products you won't find elsewhere, and is generally an aesthetically pleasing shopping experience. Everything is displayed perfectly (except the berries I guess... they were strewn a little haphazardly), all labels lined right up, and in perfect order--til the shopper grabs something of course. After getting the oat milk I went for, I wandered around looking for intriguing things until my smoothies were ready. I love the Coconut Cloud and it's my go-to, almost tastes like a fruity vanilla cake, and get my husband whichever new collab they have at the time--this time it was Westside Whimsy (color was so pretty). Found a Thomas Keller x Armando Manni olive oil dark chocolate and gave that a try along with some other snacks. The smoothie bar is always consistent in terms of drink quality, and it takes about 10 minutes from ordering at the counter to get it. It was unfortunately longer when I ordered via app, more like 20+ min. There's outdoor seating with a nice fireplace in the chilly evenings and WiFi available.

Not my first time at Erewhon, but my first time at this location. First and foremost, I love how big and airy this store is, plus the ample parking - most Erewhon's are small and cramped, and the parking is terrible. I was on my way to Vegas and wanted something healthy and handheld to eat on the road - and this store being not far from the freeway fit the bill. I don't eat a ton of non-ahi tuna, but this albacore tuna and tabbuleh wrap looked decent. It was fine, but like all the prepared foods pricey. I wish Erewhon would either improve their non meat sandwich options or introduce a non-meat burrito. Grabbed a coconut brownie at the checkout on a whim - it wasn't bad, but not exceptional. All in all, this is my favorite Erewhon location so far, and worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood. read more
Erewhon is, above all else, a status symbol. Shopping here is going around saying 'yes, I can afford overpriced groceries.' And if that is your thing, great. For me, personally, it is not. You can find essentially the same thing for much cheaper at even other upscale markets. With that said, this store is incredibly clean and nice. Things are laid out in a welcoming, easily navigable way. The aisles are wide enough to easily move around even when it is crowded. It definitely is a much nicer shopping experience than other grocery stores. read more

Beautifully done store on the small scale lots of outdoor seating very nice beautifully done. Everything is overpriced and overhyped but I will admit their food is of restaurant quality just packaged cafeteria style.. Hubby's cousin treated me to their salmon soba noodles. By far, one of the best I've ever had. Salmon was so meaty and cooked to perfection. Love the crusted sesame seeds and the veggies that come with the noodles are so crisp and fresh. Ponzu packs a nice punch and brings the entire bowl together. I do enjoy Erewhon's products..just can't wrap my head around the price. Yes, I have tried the Hailey Bieber smoothie. Tastes like frozen Pepto Bismol to me. One of the few redeeming items is their housemade peanut butter. It tastes fresh and has no preservatives! read more

Came here after participating in a run club that meets here every Thursday evening. super super friendly and welcoming employees very clean and brightly lit interior, huge selection of interesting quirky, natural ultra healthy foods that are just fun to peruse. Prices are obviously a bit on the higher side, for what they're famous for, But still cool to see the diverse small businesses featured and fun ways to be healthy. Prepared foods are decent, famous smoothies are definitely not worth the prices. Parking lot behind is convenient although a bit tight as well, not surprising for Pasadena. read more
THE STRAWBERRY GLAZE SKIN SMOOTHIE IS GOOD ========================================== I can make a smoothie with similar ingredients at home which is quite good, but my son wanted to try one of Erewhon's smoothies on Friday, December 26, 2025. They do not have any stores in Indiana, but they may open one in Chicago at some point. I decided to order the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie ($20.00) because my nephew highly recommended it. It was formerly known as the Hailey Bieber Smoothie before her contract and collaboration ended with the store. The Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie is a blend of almond milk, organic strawberries, bananas, avocado, dates, maple syrup, collagen peptides, sea moss gel, and coconut cream. My son and I really liked the taste of that one. If I am lazy and have money to burn I'll get another one sometime. My son decided to order Christina Aguilera's Favorite Things Smoothie for $20.00. That one contains MALK Organic Oat Milk, Vita Coco Famer's Organic Coconut Water, Biosil Collagen, Erewhon A2 Vanilla Whey Protein, Organic Banana, Organic Almond Butter, Organic Maple, Organic Lucuma, Organic Tocotrenols. Holiday Raspberry Sauce (Luxe Beauty Organic Astaxanthin, Organic Raspberry, Organic Dates, Organic Maple Syrup, Organic Lemon Juice, Organic Beet Juice, Organic Chia, Organic Pomegranate, Organic Blue Spirulina) Allergens: Dairy, Almonds I took one sip and didn't care for it. My son liked the one I ordered a lot more. The store was really busy and it's right by Macy's on Lake, so do some shopping and reward yourself again with a smoothie. On a recent trip back home from SoCal-I found myself wanting to grab a quick bite before hitting the road back to Sacramento-I remember seeing a viral video from one of my favorite food influencers talking about the breakfast burrito at Erewhon-so I loaded up the address into google maps and headed to the closest Erewhon,which happened to be in Pasadena. To save on time I decided to go ahead and pre-order online,which was very easy to do,so I pulled up their site and placed my order so it would be waiting for me when I arrived.I decided to go with the Bacon & Egg Breakfast Burrito ($18.50).We also went with an Iced Vanilla Latte ($7.50) and my daughter went with the viral Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie($21) When I arrived,the scene was kinda like I pictured it would be,being my 1st time there,I didn't exactly know what to expect,a lot of great looking people shopping and enjoying breakfast and drinking coffee,it was a pretty amazing scene-I liked it.Our food and drinks were waiting for us when we arrived so that's always a plus. The coffee drink was very good,drinking high quality coffee like that really made me realize how much bad coffee I had in my life-I sure am glad we don't have access to this coffee back home in Sacramento or else I'd go broke...My daughter told me the Hailey Beiber smoothie was so tasty-she really liked it,I didn't taste it myself but my daughter is pretty worldly so I will take her word for it that it was pretty good. Now let's talk about this burrito-this burrito featured organic everything-smoked bacon,hash browns,white cheddar,a spinach tortilla-I got mine with the Red Roasted Tomato salsa-I must say-I do consider myself a burrito connoisseur-especially breakfast burritos and this is hands down one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had-the ingredients tasted so fresh,perfectly cooked,perfectly wrapped-it was incredible-I ate this thing so gleefully,I was totally bummed when I took my last bite-this burrito has changed the way I think of future trips to SoCal as I now need to implement a stop at Erewhon to make sure I always get one of these breakfast burritos. In closing-if u ever find yourself in close proximity to an Erewhon and feel like spending a little extra on a higher quality product-don't hesitate to get one of these bad boys for breakfast-you won't regret it. I really enjoyed my experience at Erewhon. I got a smoothie and while I do think some of the smoothies are overpriced, like the Hailey Bieber one, mine was actually very reasonably priced. I ordered the pitaya smoothie for $13 and it was delicious, fresh, and well balanced. The store itself was super busy, so it did take a little time for my order to go through, but the staff moved things along as quickly as they could given how packed it was. Service was efficient and friendly despite the crowd. Erewhon is a really cool grocery store with tons of naturopathic products, high quality produce, and unique health focused items you do not see everywhere. Definitely a fun place to browse, and I would love to go back. read more
The Post Workout Smoothie was perfectly blended from top to bottom, the blueberry and vanilla was a great combo; the added collagen was a helpful boost. Well constructed and I highly recommend Then I grabbed a turkey and collard greens (and perfect avocado) wrap to go. Kudos to the person that picks out their avocados! Erewhon is not your average grocery store. It is a high-end grocery store known for having high-quality, organic, and locally sourced ingredients, which explains their steep prices. They also have a cafe and tonic bar inside with a lot of variety. My partner and I shared the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie aka Hailey Bieber Smoothie from the smoothie bar. I'll admit it's a pretty good smoothie, but $20 is a lot to pay for one smoothie. This smoothie is a blend of almond milk, organic strawberries, bananas, avocado, dates, maple syrup, collagen peptides, sea moss gel, and coconut cream. You can customize it to add or remove any ingredients. The store overall is organized very well, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. They seem to have everything I could think of. If you come here often, then it would be worth signing up for their membership benefits. read more
So weird to see a 3.5 rating on Erewhon. Where do these folks shop? Haha. I've never seen a nicer grocer anywhere. The only thing I can think is that the Food Court is bringing them down, and rightfully so. This is literally the most beautiful and best maintained grocer I've ever seen. Aisles are meticulously laid out, color coordinated, and seemingly always perfect. I didn't even see workers fixing them by replacing and facing items as people grab items off the shelves but they obviously were. It was hopping and yet I didn't feel crunched. We decided to grab a bite at the food court, but I did regret that. Overpriced and not great. Maybe some items are better than others but mine was mediocre. It's hard to do cafeteria style well. But, Cory, who I was with enjoyed his meal. I loved how Erewhon had lots of glass jarred items, including pecans which I took home and fresh organic juices. Also, lots of fun and unique organic brands you can't find elsewhere. And, additional merch near the front. And, ready to go packaged foods too. Oh yeah, and Valet parking! It's clearly a 5 experience. I just wish we had one in Glendora as Pasadena is a bit too far for a typical trip to the grocer. read more

I'm a big fan of the smoothies at Erewhon, and this visit reminded me why. We tried the Mango Malibu and the Hailey Bieber drink both were super refreshing and full of flavor. The Mango Malibu was bright and tropical, while the Hailey Bieber blend was creamy, smooth, and surprisingly light. Erewhon definitely knows how to make a smoothie feel like a treat. read more
On a recent trip to Pasadena, I got to finally enter an Erewhon. The building and landscaping are stunning. I can definitely see the allure. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the patio -- beautiful and clean metal tables, modern greenery everywhere, a potted eucalyptus. My impression is that the hot food, boxed food, and coffee and smoothie bars are the way to go, along with the lotions and other toiletries. I really enjoyed my bacon and egg breakfast burrito. It was premade but the bacon was still crisp. It's big enough for breakfast and lunch. read more
There's not much to say of Erewhon, everyone knows this as the "expensive grocery store" but I thought I would have at least gotten my moneys worth. To start off it's hectic in there, no right sense of direction and people crowd around while waiting for their orders. I ordered the gothic smoothie and it wasn't great, I originally knew it was running $20 before hand and was okay paying that price, but I wasn't okay with drinking the rest of it as it had a funky taste. This smoothie was definitely for the pics instead of the flavor. Next I got a lunch plate, I heard the Buffalo cauliflower and Mac n cheese were popular so I ordered those along with rotisserie chicken. Big mistake, the chicken was the most driest chicken I have ever had, don't recommend. Buffalo cauliflower was okay not spicy and mostly soggy. Mac n cheese might have been the best and that's saying a lot since it was so watery. This plate ran me around $25, again I knew the price was high which was okay for me at the time. After eating the plate I realized I wasted my money on mediocre food. read more

I hate to admit it... but I really like the smoothies!! They're so good. They don't make me feel gross bc it's not overly sweet or unhealthy. It gives me a good nose of energy and just really good. I like the Malibu Mango more than the Strawberry. If I lived close to Pasadena, I would definitely get this more often. Ugh, but it's so expensive I usually order online and then go in and pick up so I don't have to wait. They have their own free parking structure which is nice. read more

Bougie and overcrowded grocery place in SoCal. Came on a weekend around lunch time and it was so packed. I had to wait in line to try the Hailey Buber smoothie or the strawberry glazed smoothie. After ordering (which was fast), it took a while to get my actual drink so I walked around the store to see what else they offered. Most of the standard items feel overpriced but there's likely some niche items worth trying. The smoothie was just ok. Nothing too special and wouldn't get it again. read more
Erewhon with no doubt is expensive but I do always enjoy my lunch here. I always order: - garlic glass noodle (flavourful, great texture) - buffalo cauliflower (bit of a crunch) - chicken noodle soup (broth is SO good, plenty of fresh noodle, some veg and chicken) - Hailey Bieber smoothie (really good, not too sweet, but yes it's $$$) This was my first time ordering the Japanese sweet potato and they were a bit dry. Probably would not order this again. I also got the eggplant lasagna previously, it's good but slightly oily. Also ordered their ginger shot for the first time and it's so strong. I usually take ginger shots but this was so pure and I had to split it into two. I usually order on uber eats and they pack it up very well. I will easily order this again. read more

Customer service is exceptional here.There is plenty of seating as well.It doesn't feel like your normal congested Erewhon.This is my favorite Erewhon to go to now.I went to lunch with my sister.I got the combo plate consisting of :garlic noodles,bok choy,and the jasmine rice.Wow!But I wouldn't expect less from this place.My choice of drinks were a Spanish latte(amazing) and there bottled water.I will definitely be back! read more

Back again, but this time we got to try a couple different items. My gf and I decide to do one of their plates. We got the mac n cheese, braised goat, and cauliflower. Everything supppppper tasty and rich, and we both kinda wish we had some rice with it. But for 50 buckaroos, it's kinda gnarly hahaha. we also got our favorite salad again, the white bean kale, always a hitter. As for the drink, we got a small smoothie, the super milk, and it was eh. tasted like soap imo. wouldn't recommend :/ read more
