The weather has been so nice. We had our choice whether to sit inside or outside. We stayed inside. Absolutely wonderful service. Great recommendations from a wonderful server. We got beat salad as an appetizer and then I ordered grouper. It was absolutely so delicious and tasted so fresh and all the textures were exciting and flavorful and absolutely so delicious. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to our last. While the staff was friendly, the location is beautiful, and the food is tasty, our filet mignons were stringy and chewy. The filets that I raved about last year did not exist this year. The cocktail sauce with the shrimp cocktail was at the bottom of the glass on top of the lettuce which means you sort of need to dig for the sauce. IDK, Huge disappointment. We had a reservation for a birthday celebration. The place had been recommended by a couple of friends. The ambiance is very nice. As we drove up the lights and setting were inviting. We parked with the valet who was very accommodating. We were greeted at the hostess station and seated promptly. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. The bar area was crowded. It was about 530pm on a Friday. We were seated in a larger room off the back of the dining area with very nice views of the greenery. Our server came by and we ordered a few cocktails - a couple of martinis and a Coors light. Service was aloof. Our server seemed a bit confused and could not answer a few questions. We felt that our server was not paying attention. For example, my Bombay Sapphire martini was served with the olives in the drink I had specifically asked for them to be on the side. Warm bread was brought to the table. It was an assortment of smallish rolls. I got the octopus appetizer, and the octopus was very good with a nice, charred flavor. But it was served with so many tomatoes and a lot of red sauce. I could not eat it all and did not want to as I was getting a main dish. The sauce was however quite tasty. Others enjoyed their appetizers seared Ahi Tuna and a lobster and crab spring roll were both very good. For my main I got the fish with pretzel breading. The grouper fish was good enough, but it was served with enormous amounts of asparagus, and I really could not discern any pretzel in there. One of us got a 6oz filet. Before ordering we specifically asked if it was "prime" beef. Our server did not know and had to check with the chef. He came back and said it was in fact "prime" beef. When it came it was not great and there was gristle in there definitely NOT prime beef. When making the reservation I had asked for a birthday dessert. When we checked in with the host he wished my wife a happy birthday. At the end of our meal our server brought the check. I had to remind him that we had ordered a candle on a dessert to be brought to the table. Back again. The whole service was discombobulated. This once ambience filled dining experience is now just like any corporate crazy town. I've already posted what a nightmare Mother's Day was last year. Horrible. I felt so bad for my son. Now we go in to have a drink this week and the bartender ...out of the blue ....just goes crazy on one of the customers who was sitting and talking to her friend. This was like one of those crime shows ....one minute Everything seems fine. The next minute, the bartender wants to kill this woman ....screaming, and hitting at her.....it was totally out of control.... and then, to find out, that some of the staff said, that the bartender is just crazy and they don't know why she's still working there. I know I won't be back. That was actually frightening for those of us who happened to be in the room. The bartender did not seem to be able to be controlled or calmed down, and the customer didn't seem to have any idea who the bartender was or what she was talking about or even what was going on The customer then seemed more than upset and frightened and reacted and then we had absolute chaos. I would be very concerned about mental health issues related to this kind of behavior. And, true to the new version of Erini's.... They not only had this person working for them, but they didn't seem to care that she was attacking this customer at first.... Time to sell this dining spot to somebody that really cares read more

2nd time visiting and we decided to sit outside and we were really impressed with the outdoor seating atmosphere! It was full of plants, fun decor and lighting. They have numerous fans going at all time, which helps to keep it nice & cool. Magda was our server and she was incredible, so kind & attentive. We started with the complimentary bread & olives, which both were great. The bread was piping hot and extremely fresh. We ordered steamed mussels with white wine sauce, also very yummy. The garlic white wine sauce so great dipped up with the fresh bread. For our mains I got the chicken piccata and my boyfriend got the veal francaise. Both dishes were very flavorful and a good size portion. We shared the crème brûlée for our appetizer (not pictured). It did come out with the sugar being a bit too over caramelized which left a bitter taste in the mouth when eaten. The custard was great, just the topping could've been a tad different. Erini's tiki bar is the perfect place to catch happy hour on a nice day. They've done a great job with the outdoor area which has an outdoor tropical island feel. There are fans and misters and lots of shade to keep you cool. The happy hour is limited but good. Cocktails are always on point and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The inside feels like a 90s wedding venue or a casino and is kind of dark, albeit lit up by the brightly colored LED lighting all around. read more

I didn't love my cocktail but that's OK. the toasted marshmallow old fashioned sounds like it might be sweet but it's not at all. we went at 4pm on a Saturday, so parking was easy, wasn't very crowded. didn't wait long at all. they have multiple dining rooms with tables, I didn't see any booths. they also have valet. it must start at dinner time so since we arrived at 4,maybe it was too early. all I know is when I tried to leave there were cones everywhere blocking us in. I guess they sectioned that part off for valet but we were already in there. it was very frustrating honestly driving around in circles backing up going other ways. ended up just getting out and moving the cones. read more

I checked out this spot while in town on business because I read lots of great reviews on social media about the restaurant. I made a quick reservation on Resy but changed to the bar once I arrived and the bar had space. Immediately there was a mildewed smell in the bar area but I credited that to all of the humidity experienced all week. I ordered the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp with green beans over mashed potatoes. The shrimp was delicious as were the green beans. The mashed potatoes were just okay but didn't take last real mashed potatoes. However the remoulade was so tasty with the crab and shrimp. I also noticed that another couple that sat at the bar had bread but I didn't realize that their starter until I saw theirs. Initially the service was lackluster but it got better as my evening went on. I enjoyed the food and the Tiki bar area but I wouldn't revisit this restaurant. read more

First and last time here. Going by any previous reviews that you may be looking at while deciding to go here or not, check how recent they are. My recent experience was so horrific and some staff enlightened me on why this may be. I'll paint the picture of what was a lunch I never got to eat and had to leave to find food elsewhere. The hostess was kind and walked us outside to the back patio to our seat under an umbrella. The atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant is beautiful and stunning. Our server, Magda, was the only reason this visit was bearable. She was the sweetest, kindest, and caring server I've had in a while. She truly cared about us and at the end of this visit she felt so bad, though none of it was her fault. I'd like management to know how great she was and that she was the only good part of our visit besides the nice atmosphere on the patio. I ordered the pretzel crusted grouper. Though the presentation was nice, it was so unbelievably salty it was inedible. The person at my table tried it without me saying and she said the same thing. I tried and it was like eating pure salt and I couldn't even taste the main part which was the fish. Our server even tried a piece I didn't touch and agreed it was so salty. I had to send it back. At this point it was very late as it took some time to get our food so I decided to order an appetizer to be quicker since I was starving at this point. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. What a mistake. Check the photos for yourself. The bacon was old and the scallops were just bad. And I mean bad. I am a scallop connoisseur and this was a pity. At this point I said no more food please I just want to leave. Mind you my mother's BLT was loaded in mayo with old squishy tomatoes, and our salad was served with partially brown bruised apples. I mean cmon! This establishment should be embarrassed. I frequent finer dining restaurants in Princeton, Cherry Hill, and many other areas with high reputations. I have never sent food back and it's always been mouth watering tasty. I left here hungry without having eaten anything but a salad. Not once did a manager come out to apologize. The only one who comforted us and felt bad was our wonderful server, Magda. She was a gem. I will add on that another employee, not our server, told us that four cooks in the kitchen recently quit and now the manager himself has had to get in there to cook since no one wants to work due to the hostile work environment. I believe this due to the lack of the manager coming out to apologize to me. So food is not going to come out good since those cooking it aren't actual cooks or chefs as they all left. Another obvious clue I missed is that other than us, there was only one other table with people there for lunch. You'll never find a good restaurant empty for lunch on a 79 degree beautiful day. I will never be back here. What a big mistake for them because when I like food from a place I'll frequent there over and over and bring friends and family, etc. My suggestion to anyone reading this is to take your business to Witherspoon Grill, Agricola, Blue Point Grill or Mistral in Princeton; or Il Vilaggio, Caffe Aldo Lamberti, or Capital Grille in Cherry Hill. Our first really nice day of Spring to dine outdoors. Erini is just the place bc the outside dining area is very nice and very comfortable. My BFF and I had a wonderful lunch. We started with martinis. The espresso martini was excellent. I love how they serve it bc it is like getting two drinks. A small carafe with extra espresso martini is served on ice along with your martini. (See my picture). Our server was right on...timely, efficient and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious and nice portions. I opted for the burger which came with perfectly crisp fries. My friend had a half salad with salmon. We both enjoyed. I would've given it minus 5 stars in the beginning . The hostess and waitress at the entrance were not helpful in the beginning we wanted to be outside so asked the waitress she said to go inside her demeanor was not kind. Then we asked inside they said we can try a high top with our child. Then after 15 -20 min of waiting at the high top a waitress or bartender walked us inside again saying we couldn't sit there with a child, so we had to go back inside to be seated. Then we were back outside still close to bar -it took at least 25 minutes before we were settled in after all that back and forth with no warmth or gentle good energies. Finally we were greeted by a young man, our server- I think his name was Jandeer and he made all the difference. I would give him 5 stars. He was our first smile. And actually made us feel welcomed. Before him I was ready to walk out. Anyway loved my coco mojito matched the flowers and tiki decor. The food was pretty good and the NE clam chowder soup was delicious! My son loved the bread and liked the pasta. Not sure if I would be back because of how were treated at first. Funny thing is we last were there 5 years ago with our child it must've been for a reason. Not kid friendly. More fun was had by the corporate after work crew. read more

The service was impeccable. No complaints there. The patio was really nice. The food was mostly good. Just about everything that they made for us on a grill (except the filet mignon) was tough, chewy, and dry with too much char (char was all I could taste). They remade a few items for us but those weren't much better. We loved the salads, appetizers, desserts, and the wine list. I'd go back just for those. However, there is one rather odd thing about this place. They have signs everywhere explaining their dress code. I even got a message about when I booked the reservation, so I made sure everyone in my party was dressed appropriately. Imagine our surprise to arrive and see that, in spite of all the aggressive signage, the policy is clearly not enforced. Nevermind the clientele in t-shirts and baseball caps, the hostess herself looked like she just came from the gym in her yoga pants and sports bra. So, I really don't know what to make of that. We've passed this restaurant many time while traveling on 29 on our way to new Hope. We decided to stop in and have dinner and it was an overall very nice experience. First, the place has a distinctly island vibe with its own dedicated tiki bar area. Our waitress is very nice and friendly and very attentive. special kudos for the tropical drink that was ordered by my partner. Not only was it delicious but it included a little flask that contained whatever didn't fit in the glass. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the leg of Lamb but as for me, my sirloin steak was practically inedible. They were very apologetic and promised to comp us a dessert. I ordered the filet mignon, which was much better. All in all is very nice experience and a nice meal. More than likely will return again. read more

Upon arrival, they have complementary valet parking. There is no ticket. They text you a link and when you are ready to leave, you can request your car through your phone. I love this! We had reservations for 6:15 PM and arrived a little early. The staff was able to sit us promptly and we waited. And we waited. And we waited. After about 20 minutes, I went up to one of the staff members and asked them for a waiter to assist us. And we waited some more. From the time we sat down to when we received our meal it was 90 minutes. But let's get to the positives. The waiter was very nice and patient with us. We ordered the Meze platter, and it was very good. The hummus was outstanding and the pitas had a really nice mix of soft and crip that made the dish outstanding! We were often also given complementary bread that was warm and delicious. I also ordered the seafood risotto. There was plenty of risotto. So much that I was unable to finish that part of meal. Scallops are an add-on and you're only given two shrimp. Overall, the meal was definitely worth the drive, but not necessarily worth the wait. I would likely come here again. read more

I went there for lunch with family. This was my second visit the first time dinning inside. The inside was warm cozy and inviting. I ordered the fish Tacos for my meal that came blackened. It was really good, great flavors. I had the Dubai cheesecake for my dessert choice which was delicious. Unfortunately they did not have a photo which I really like to see what I'm getting. I took the chance with ordering it and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend the restaurant get a photo since some people are visual eaters and it makes a huge difference. If I based it off of the other cheesecake options it would have been a no for me. They have the dessert menu digitally so not sure why they failed to picture this star desert. I did take a photo for the folks who use Yelp to help make decisions. I hope they get a picture soon I can't imagine how well it will sell upon having a picture of it. This is why commercials are so powerful people see it and your brain thinks you need it!! The service was good I forget our waitress name but she and the other workers were very attentive. Ensuring our table was cleared timely as dishes were complete. Not sure how it will stack up on a busy day but nonetheless service was quite good. I'm pleased to say that we had our Thanksgiving dinner here and it was excellent!! So happy to report from our last meal a complete turn around!! We came with our neighbors and 3 of us had the Turkey dinner and my neighbors wife had the strip steak. The mixed drinks were perfect --we each added a salad which were big - I got the wedge BLT with blue cheese dressing fresh and delicious. The dinners came with all white meat which was juicy and moist, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cooked green beans all were yummy!! The steak was also perfectly cooked. My wife and I split a delicious peanut butter chocolate cheese cake and coffee.. I'm so happy that the evening was wonderful. Lastly our waitress Brielle was fabulous- she had a wonderful smile and made us feel so welcome... We will definitely be returning and suggest you go too!! Thank you Erini for a great meal-! It's a strange place- I don't really know what cuisine they're selling from looking at the menu and then seeing a tiki bar outside. But the food was good. We had a large party for after work, so we had a prefixe menu. I got the salmon and traded in mashed potatoes for more green beans- I like healthier alternatives so there's worked out perfectly for me. The salmon was cooked well- wasn't dry and had a nice sear. The appetizers were great - especially the meatball. Service was slow, but the seating was fine. Tiny bathroom for such a large establishment. I see in other reviews there's valet parking- wish I knew that beforehand bc I was circling the lot for quite some time before getting a spot. I'm giving it 4 stars considering where we were located- there's not much else in the area, so I have to give them some praise. I'd go here again for another work dinner when I'm back. read more

We went here last night for my mom and stepdad's 25th anniversary. We came here because on my Newtown Facebook group someone asked about where to go for a nice meal and Erini kept coming up. When we got there at 535 it was packed which I took as a good sign. We arrived during October and you can tell they took time to take a lot of care with their fall and Halloween decorations. It had beautiful ambiance and the oddest music. They advertise as an American/Mediterranean restaurant and had several communications about dressing smart casual (which I love), but they were playing some kind of Caribbean tropical music? I don't care, it was just... odd. :) Pros: - Their Erini salad on the GF menu was exceptional - absolutely delicious! - Our waitress was very nice, service overall was exceptional. - When I ordered filet, I had been looking at the 10oz option which had roasted potatoes as the side. When I ordered, the waitress asked if I wanted 6 or 10oz. I told her 10, which I didn't realize came with a different side (mashed potatoes). When the meal was delivered I asked the waitress about that since I don't do dairy, and not only did she offer to bring me a new side, but she told me the filet was cooked in butter and she could bring me a new one. I didn't take her up on that part since it was my own fault, but I thought this was incredibly kind. Filet is not cheap. - They have a gluten free menu - Food came out really fast - Our waitress brought us all cups of champagne with strawberry hearts to celebrate their anniversary. Cons: - There was a heavyset waitress that was glaring at me and I don't understand why. At the end of the dinner my boyfriend and I went to take pictures by the fireplace and she walked up. Maybe we were in her way. She walked right towards us and glared at me so I said "Sorry about that, excuse me!" and she continued to glare at me. As we were leaving I gave her a big smile and she just continued to give me a look of death. It was a little unsettling. I talked to my boyfriend after it and he said he heard the manager going around and telling people to do things differently so maybe the waitress was about to get yelled at, I'm not sure, but her glare just kind of stayed with me. - The sauteed spinach was super garlicky, and I love garlic and eat lots of things, but my boyfriend (who eats everything) and I both didn't eat it. The food overall was good. Maybe not the most exceptional in all the land (well, the Erini chopped salad w/o gorgonzola was great) but pretty consistent. Service with the exception of the glaring waitress, 10 out of 10. There were 5 of us and with 5 drinks, 2 1/2 salads, an appetizer, 5 meals and a dessert, it came to about $400 including 22% tip. I'd probably give the restaurant a 4 based on food quality and the mean waitress, but I'm giving it a 5 because of the kindness in offering a new filet and the rest of the service. In terms of *food* for nice restaurants in the area, I would rate places like Blue Point Grill, Rocco's, and Relic over this one. read more

Stopped in for a drink and an an appetizer Fried Calamari. It sucked, more breading than Calamari. Literally, I left in the bottom of the dish about 10-20% of what was served. I always enjoy my visits to Erini. The ambience is always beautiful and the service is always excellent. My favorite things to order are the blood orange martini and the seafood risotto. In typical fashion, that is what I ordered last night. I tried a new item last night as well - the shrimp and lobster spring rolls. Super delicious and is a must-try with the sweet Thai chili sauce. I can't recommend this place enough. All the staff is friendly and there's even free valet. It's a local gem and hands down one of my favorite dinner spots in the area read more

Heavily overpriced restaurant. I ordered the Rose Fizz cocktail and couldn't drink it because there was too much lemon in it and it was horrible. We paid over $14 for that. I also ordered the crab cake with a side of mashed potatoes. The crab cake was extremely small and even the mashed potatoes was very small. The only nice thing was that we got steaming hot bread. There wasn't anything elegant about this restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else. It's highly overrated. read more

Our first time dining at Erini. We arrived early & had drinks at the bar while we waited for friends. Service at the bar was slow, we were practically ignored trying to get the bartenders' attention. I ordered the Marshmallow Old Fashioned. The waitress brought out the drinks sans marshmallows. I mentioned to the waitress that I expected to see marshmallows with the drink. The waitress said it does come marshmallows but she was too busy to add them to the drink. Apparently she thought about what she said & came back & asked if I wanted the marshmallows. I said yes. Luckily I got them as marshmallows really give the drink its marshmallow flavor. Our friends met us at the bar & we went to our table. The waiter placed tickets on the table. I asked what the tickets were for. Our friends, who dine at Erini frequently, had pre-reserved 2lb lobsters for our group. But first appetizers. We shared the fried calamari which was flavorful & cooked to perfection. DH had the creamy potato soup with bacon. saying it was good but nothing special. The whole Lobsters came out on a plate sandwiched between green beans & potatoes. The lobster was easy to open and was deliciously fantastic! Cooked perfectly so not to be too chewy or too mushy. Drawn butter was provided. The green beans had just the right Al dente snap. The potatoes were a little under cooked and starchy. We ended the night with carrot cake. It was flavorful but not as moist as we'd like. Overall the calamari & lobster were the stars of the night. read more
