I ordered the Lavender Matcha with lavender, lavender foam, and coconut milk. They have different packaged snacks available; I grabbed a vegan snack by Greyson bakery (sold in store) and It was delicious. Service was wonderful! It was not long before my order was brought out to me. The beverage itself looked delicious--it was green at the bottom from the matcha and purple on top from the lavender. I enjoyed it as it was not too sweet. There are a few tables and chairs inside but keep in mind it is a small space. Everything to tidy and in place. I ordered the Spanish latte, and let me tell you--it was so good I briefly considered ordering a second before I even finished the first. Smooth, slightly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink. Honestly, if I had less self-control (and fewer social norms to follow), I would've ordered three and just set up camp. Right when I opened the door I was greeted. I was able to order right away, I had checked the menu before getting there so I knew what I wanted. I was able to replace whip cream with cold foam on my caramel tres leches coffee. I also got two iced matchas, it was nice they let me know theirs was not sweetened but I could add sweetener if I wanted. Glad I stopped by this place in Desert Hot Springs. It's a small location with a spacious parking lot, and incredibly friendly service. I tried their lavender matcha which was the right green color and actually tasted of matcha without being too sweet. Stopped by this cool little coffee house. Grabbed a good coffee and to go pastry one morning while in town. What separates this spot from others is the kind service. The owner and staff are all very kind and gracious. Walk up counter service, place your order and pay, they hand you your drinks when ready. The morning of my visit, I wanted a good coffee before starting my day and stopped in. Was kindly greeted walking in and after a few minutes of conversation placed my order. We talked a bit more and the gentleman asked if I was a veteran, which I am and he bought my coffee for me. A standard practice at this establishment. They buy your coffee for any military, veteran or first responders and a sign of their appreciation. I've been a patron of this cafe since its opening and it has been my go to since. Being in dhs there aren't many options but this locally owned business totally changed the game. The drinks are consistently amazing, and they are happy to accommodate/rectify any inconvenience. Prices are ok but the drinks are MUCH better than ALL chain coffee options! Ambiance is great, they have pastries and parfaits etc in their friends, fun drinks and dried treats also. The owner is the sweetest and the service is always great. Can't recommend them enough. There is a cold case offering random things, some sodas and cakes, and grocery items that make little sense and don't look very tasty. Need half a pound of mejool dates with your latte? Me either. Plastic-wrapped mushy-looking cakes and $4 one-bite cake pops in wasteful plastic containers aren't tempting, either. So: the food program needs help.
