    Egg and potatoes

I first heard about this spot through random searching on the Internet, and since I'm always in the mood for Mexican food I decided to give it a try. This place is located inside of the marathon gas station on State Road 7/US441. I went in the morning around 7 AM. I ordered an egg and potato burrito and P.L Chilaquiles (Con Huevo). The burrito costed $5.99 and the P.L Chilaquiles (Con Huevo) was $8.99. All food items were made to order and the wait wasn't that bad since I was the only one at the counter. The total wait time was proximately 10 minutes. The burrito was absolutely delicious!!!! I enjoyed it, BUT I did enjoy the P.L Chilaquiles (Con Huevo) wayyyy more. This was my first time trying this dish, and I was absolutely amazed! For the chilaquiles, I decided to get red salsa because the employee recommended it to me. By the way, she was very lovely, and very patient. I couldn't even finish my meal at home because I ate it all in my car!! Unfortunately, I did not get a picture because I couldn't stop eating haha. For the price, it was very affordable. With my meal, I received: rice, refried beans, cilantro, onion, lettuce, cheese, two fried eggs, and the red salsa chilaquiles. Overall, I will definitely come back to this place again AND recommend all of my friends that are interested in Mexican food to give this place a try!!!!

Very tasty and authentic style. Lime, skirt steak and white onion, cilantro and hot sauce (very hot) on the side. Soft corn tortillas full of steak. Jen had the pork carnitas bowl. Perfect mix of pork, rice and beans, Cheese etc. Large portions. Not real loud which is perfect for Mom since she is 90 and mostly hard of hearing. The pictures are of the tacos and the bowl. Love the place and will go back for sure. Can't go wrong if you love Mexican food. Service was fast and furious. Nothing wrong with that. 5 Stars next time if I get extra tequila in my margarita. lol

We ordered a Passion fruit margarita on the rocks, which was delicious! We also got some guacamole for the table, which they make table side so it's super fresh and yummy! I got the combo appetizer as my meal because I got a little bit of everything, which I highly enjoy. It comes with ground beef nachos, a quesadilla, and a chicken taquito. My mom got a carne asada platter, and my husband did one of the combo dinner platters available. Their dinner combos are super versatile and a great bargain! That's normally what I do when I come here.

My friend had eaten there before, so she suggested sitting at the bar due to experiencing really slow service during her last visit. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't too busy, with a handful of additional people at the bar and a few tables filled with guests. There are a ton of options on the cocktail menu, so after a long deliberation, I decided on the margarita flight. I must say, the presentation is 10/10. Some flavors I enjoyed more than others, and it's not something I would order every visit, but realistically, for the price, it's a good value. Service was indeed slow, even at the bar. I did have to repeat my order several times, so I do believe the staff may be a little new to food service in general. There were a lot of staff working in the main dining room for it to have been so slow. As for the food, I was significantly overwhelmed by all the options on the menu. I decided to go with the elotes off the cob and the empanada flight (steak, chicken and buffalo chicken). The empanada flight was so delicious! I could only finish two of the three, but I thoroughly enjoyed the third one today at work. They weren't only crispy, but the filling was flavorful, and the portion size was great. The elotes were yummy as well. I had enough to take home and finish with my last empanada. Definitely two items I would re-order on another visit. Overall, the service was friendly. We were asked to take a picture, and my friend and I agreed, laughing about possibly ending up on their IG page. Shortly after, the photographer brought us three framed versions of the photo for purchase, lol. Definitely a more Lauderdale/Miami/Atlanta-type lounge move, but funny nonetheless. We politely declined.

My food came a little messy but that's probably due to the delivery and not the restaurant. As soon as I started eating, I knew I was in for a treat. The rice and beans, while simple, had a good amount of flavor. It was the person items for in between bites of taco. Now the taco, oh my. I don't think I've had tacos with queso on them before, but I wish all tacos had that now. The queso was so fresh and gave a nice salty and chewiness to the taco. The steak tacos themselves were excellent. The meat was charred so well that you would get intense flavor and crunch on the outside of the meat, and then a warm rush of spices as soon as you got to the inside. The only thing unusual is the tortillas themselves. These are very soft and wet as if they are undercooked. But it works so well with everything!

I ordered the birria tacos, which came with a cheese shell on the outside. That part I didn't love. The cheese was too crispy and partially burnt--just not my thing. I would've preferred the cheese stay silky on the inside where it belongs. The flavor was there, but the execution took away from it for me. The hairy heffa I was with ordered a Chipotle-style bowl and a dessert, and both looked really good. No complaints from her. Aesthetics-wise, this place is super cute and flair well executed. Super nice vibe, great decor, and the service was good. And let's be real--the picture wall with the phone? Come on now. You already know I took pics.
