First review of 2025 and happy to relay a good message to you all about Tacos Al Carbon. It was my first time going to this location. They have lots of dining space, tables, and even a pool table in the restaurant. Also they have TVs around for extra entertainment. The food was above average, we got the three taco platter and the Big quesabirria. Defiantly will be returning to this location, keep up the good work (:

I was given a Grubhub card to enjoy some lunch and found a Taco Al Carbon located off State Road 7 and Southern Boulevard through the list of restaurants I searched in my area. While I had tacos at the location in Lake Worth, I had yet to anticipate a location to open in Royal Palm Beach. I found out later that this location is different from the former -- no affiliation (which I find a bit odd, not sure if that is approved, but there you go). This location is a separately owned restaurant that uses the name (not sure that it is approved or what the story is). Still, I was pleased with what I selected. With the $25 gift card in my possession, I ordered two birria beef tacos, a chorizo gordita, a barbacoa taco, and a beef tongue taco. Out of everything I ordered, my favorites were the barbacoa and beef tongue tacos I ordered with flour tortillas. The barbacoa and beef tongue was fabulous. I enjoyed every bite. The birria beef tacos were solid, and I enjoyed dipping the grilled tacos into the savory drippings. The chorizo gordita was solid, but it fell apart fairly quickly. I still ate all of it as everything was good eats.

Best tacos in Palm Beach County. Now I've been eating at the lake worth location for more years then I'd like to remember, but it's always been delicious. Recently discovered they have a Royal Palm Beach location and had to give it a try. I was very pleased, as I expected to be. The place isn't to big, but they do have along row of tables and chairs. When I got there it was just a little busy and the girls did seem slightly disorganized, but that's ok. They did the best they could and within minutes I had hot, fresh, crunchy chips and salsa and an icy cold jarritos mandarin. My birria tacos were amazing. Filled to the brim with meat and cheese and served with a cup of savory dipping consomme. I could eat a dozen. Highly recommend this and all their other locations as well.

I stopped by here after my workout for breakfast yesterday morning. I was going to order a couple of breakfast items but the server suggested the birria tacos. They were quite delicious. Brisket tacos served with cheese and consomme. I also got the rice and beans which were awesome. Traditional Mexican refried beans with short grain rice. Andrea and Rosie were awesome. Andrea's mom is one of the cooks and she did a great job. Inside is very colorful and they have a few tables and chairs. You can also get shots of tequila and mixed drinks while you're there. I recommend this place highly friendly staff and great atmosphere. Awesome cooks.

We were seeing a show at the amphitheater nearby and we stopped in here for dinner beforehand. We love tacos Al Carbon in Lake Worth so I had high expectations for this location, which I assume is the same owners, but I could be wrong. My husband and I had mixed feelings about this location. Not a very warm atmosphere. They have a walk up counter and some hard booths and tables. we were seated, but it took a while for the waitress to come over. When she finally did she brought over chips and salsa and went to fetch our drinks which seem to take a very long time to get. I did not care for the salsa at all!!!! Not good. For dinner I ordered the taco salad and my husband got the Birria tacos. we were feeling like this visit was gonna be all downhill while we waited for our food. However, when we got the food, we were pleasantly surprised. Service was not got that great, chips and salsa not good, but the taco salad was ginormous and filled with meat, cheese, beans, rice and all the toppings. Definitely enough for two. My husband loved the Birria tacos as well and raved about them. I can't say that I would ever go out of my way to visit this place again but it turned out ok after all.

The worst worst worst they cancel the order when they accept and say pickup. They don't have the order but they cancel the order after you show up. Horrible service they hire people that aren't aware of anything. Like talking to a wall.

The food is great. Excellent service. It's in the Burlington coat factory shopping center. Not a fancy place but great for lunch during the week.

First impressions review!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING (before and after below) Tonight was my first night eating from this establishment and I was so tired after work I ordered off of uber eats. Totally not me, but tonight it was. I had the tocos with rice and beans, for $8.99, after the delivery fee and the tip, to the driver, my total was $13.89. The food was AMZING and worth it!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone and I can't wait to visit in person! Also, didn't know they had other locations. Plus!!

Love love love tacos al carbon!! I've been going to the location in Lake Worth for years (I'm from out of town but always make time to visit), and this was my best experience yet. The food is really fresh and authentic. Crispy chicken tacos are the go-to, the shredded white cheese is bomb. Squeeze a little lime and dab some of that green salsa on there and you're in business. Tried the Mexican street corn for the first time and would recommend that on the side as well. Staff was really friendly and COVID-safe.

After a day spent walking with the panther refuge, my family stopped in for some tacos. The menu was extensive and the pricea were great! However, flavor was lacking throughout. My taco special came with 3 tacos (chicken, steak and pork). The pork was a little tough, the chicken was hands down amazing, and the steak was meh. The seasoning was highly lacking. No citrus or cilantro came through. The guac only tasted of avocado. I wouldn't stop here again but it made for a quick, affordable stop before the hour drive back home.

    Love this place! Yum

A large interior and bar area with a very friendly and helpful staff. I ordered a Burrito lunch special. My Burrito was great and filled with a generous portion of meat. The menu is large with quite a few lunch specials from which to choose. It was not an easy decision. We enjoyed addictive chips and two salsas (one mild and one spicy) while looking over the menu. My husband got their lunch burrito. It came with sides of refried beans, yellow rice, and salad. There was a dollop of sour cream on top. He had ground beef as his burrito meat filling. He really liked the flavor. He said the tortilla wrapping was soft. He was planning on taking half home for dinner, but wound up eating the entire meal as it was so good. I had an appetizer of shrimp ceviche. The large serving came spread out on a plate. There was a ton of shrimp -- cut piece of larger sized shrimp mixed in with whole baby shrimp; chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro. All in a marinade. I added an additional squeeze lime and some of the mild salsa. The shrimp dish was delicious. It felt healthy and refreshing -- especially on the hot day. For dessert, we had (vanilla) flan. A large portion that was perfect for us to share. It came with whipped cream and a couple cinnamon sugared chips. This place is a keeper.

A mutual friend connected us with the manager, Stefani, and from the very beginning she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. She made the whole process seamless and got us on the schedule--and after such an amazing experience, we knew we had to come back again this year, for another event! Last year also introduced a lot of our families to this location, as we all have been frequent flyers! Tonight was just as fantastic. We arrived around 6:00 PM, and by 6:30 all 12 of our families (about 50 people!) were settled on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, and truly on top of everything. As someone who's worked in the industry, I know how challenging it can be to manage a group that size--especially with lots of kids--and she handled it like a pro! The food did not disappoint! We started with queso and chips (a must!), and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the tuna tostada and a birria taco, my girls enjoyed a quesadilla and chicken fingers from the kids menu, and my husband had the taco salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was so good. And you definitely need to check out happy hour! If you get there before 6 PM, they offer great food and drink specials. The Mango Tango (I ordered mine without jalapeños) was amazing, my husband loved the Watermelon Smash, and another parent couldn't stop raving about the Pineapple Mojito. If you're part of a local sports team looking for a fun way to host a team dinner and raise funds, this is a perfect spot. And if you're in the Royal Palm/Wellington area--trust me, you NEED some PapiChulo in your life. You won't be disappointed! Huge thank you to Stefani and the entire staff for always taking such great care of our crew--we appreciate you so much!

My friend had eaten there before, so she suggested sitting at the bar due to experiencing really slow service during her last visit. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't too busy, with a handful of additional people at the bar and a few tables filled with guests. There are a ton of options on the cocktail menu, so after a long deliberation, I decided on the margarita flight. I must say, the presentation is 10/10. Some flavors I enjoyed more than others, and it's not something I would order every visit, but realistically, for the price, it's a good value. Service was indeed slow, even at the bar. I did have to repeat my order several times, so I do believe the staff may be a little new to food service in general. There were a lot of staff working in the main dining room for it to have been so slow. As for the food, I was significantly overwhelmed by all the options on the menu. I decided to go with the elotes off the cob and the empanada flight (steak, chicken and buffalo chicken). The empanada flight was so delicious! I could only finish two of the three, but I thoroughly enjoyed the third one today at work. They weren't only crispy, but the filling was flavorful, and the portion size was great. The elotes were yummy as well. I had enough to take home and finish with my last empanada. Definitely two items I would re-order on another visit. Overall, the service was friendly. We were asked to take a picture, and my friend and I agreed, laughing about possibly ending up on their IG page. Shortly after, the photographer brought us three framed versions of the photo for purchase, lol. Definitely a more Lauderdale/Miami/Atlanta-type lounge move, but funny nonetheless. We politely declined.
