We had a blast! My friends and I came on a Saturday night for an 8:50pm reservation. We did the VIP experience and the funhouse room, so we had the rooms to just the 4 of us. I think the ticket cost was absolutely worth it! From the moment we entered, we were having a good time. We completed our waivers online, and we were the only ones there at the time, so checking in was a breeze. The lady who helped us was very nice and informative, as this was our first time doing an escape room. Our time with Ash was a hoot! What a fun actor and role!! Everyone we encountered throughout the escape room was really funny and nice. We went with medium mode, so if we weren't getting something right away, they would repeat the clue, or say it really loud if near something. We definitely needed it, there were times we felt some dumb once we realized what we were supposed to do. By the time we hit the end, it was about 10pm, so we spent somewhere around an hour getting in and going through everything. There's a gift shop and museum at the end, definitely worth checking out. There's even screen used stuff! I ended up leaving with a few items. We learned they are also associated with the Saw and John Wick escape rooms, so we will definitely try those. And we agreed we will be coming back to do the sewers escape room, which is supposed to be scarier. We screamed quite a bit going through this, it's sort of haunted house mixed with escape room. It was absolutely great service and a great time all the way through to the end. And if you are a big fan of the IT films like we are, you'll love this! Definitely check it out!! read more

We recently visited this place and overall had a fun and memorable experience, especially as a group that has done quite a few escape rooms before. Check-in was smooth and easy, which set a good tone right from the start. We ended up doing both the Sewer Escape Room and the Fun House Escape Room. Between the two, we definitely preferred the Sewer room. The set design and props were very impressive -- everything felt high-quality, immersive, and thoughtfully put together. The actors also deserve recognition. They stayed in character well and added to the storytelling, which made the experience more engaging. That said, one area that could use improvement is the level of guidance. Before starting, we specifically mentioned to the front desk that we prefer to solve everything on our own and did not want hints unless we asked for them. Unfortunately, that didn't fully carry over during the experience. The actors offered hints more frequently than we would have liked, and it took one of our group members directly asking them to stop before it changed. For experienced players, having more control over hints would make a big difference. In terms of difficulty, the Sewer room felt fairly easy for our group, especially given our prior escape room experience. The Fun House room was a bit more challenging, which we appreciated, but it felt somewhat rushed. It seemed like we were being moved along quickly from room to room without enough time to fully work through certain puzzles. There wasn't a visible countdown, yet the pacing still felt timed, which made it a little confusing. Overall, we still had a good time. The atmosphere, set design, and actors really stood out, and the concept is well executed. With a bit more flexibility on hints and pacing, this could easily be an even better experience. Tips for future players: - If you prefer fewer hints, be very clear and firm about it before starting. - The Sewer room may feel easier if you've done many escape rooms before. - Pay attention to pacing -- move efficiently so you can enjoy each section fully. - Go in ready to enjoy the immersive environment -- that's one of the best parts. - I believe it is always better going with a group of friends. We went here for my son's 14th birthday, and it was such a fun experience. There are two options you can choose from -- the Sewers or the Fun house. We decided to do the Funhouse, and it was amazing. The experience takes you through about 16 different rooms, and what really makes it unique is that there are live actors involved. One actor actually goes through the entire experience with your group, which makes it feel much more immersive. I'll admit, it was a little scary for me -- there were definitely some jump scares -- I may have took of running once or twice but in a fun way that kept everyone excited and laughing. The funhouse has a mirror room like the old carnival houses and OMG is all I am gonna say. It took us about an hour to get through the Funhouse side, and once you finish, you exit into an arcade. This area is really cool -- it has carnival-style games, lots of interesting memorabilia, We purchased our tickets through Vegas.com, and our admission included a $25 arcade card. We also did VIP where it was just our party. Having a few teenagers I didn't want to spoil the experience for other people and just do a GA admission. If you do General admission you will be with other people not just your group and I think the max per group is 10. Also if you do VIP you have to order a minimum of 4 tickets. The arcade credits actually lasted a long time -- we spent another hour playing games and still had credits left when we left. Overall, it was a great outing, and we're definitely planning to go back to try the Sewers side next time. Surprisingly, this was so much fun! My family and I decided to stay local in Las Vegas for New Years. Looking for activities in the area, we decided to book the Escape IT room for a party of 6 during New Year's week. The Escape IT is located on S. Martin Luther King Blvd, right across the street from Costco business. The check in process was easy. There was a team member waiting outside of the building. She checked us in and confirmed that we signed waivers. There was another couple that joined our family for the Escape IT room. 10 minutes before our reservation time, we entered the main entrance for another check in process. There was some older arcades like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat available to play while waiting. We wrote our names on sticky notes and checked in for a second time for the Funhouse escape room! The Escape IT is a large scale horror themed escape attraction inspired by the IT films. This experience spans a massive multi room environment with more than 20 interconnected spaces to explore. There are live actors as you navigate through the escape room! You have to work together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and advance through scenes while navigating the dark. The rooms are so immersive, intense, and thrilling! The live actors that we had during the Escape room were fantastic! There were a few jump scares and Pennywise did make an appearance! We made it out in just a little bit over an hour! After the escape room, there is a themed gift shop and arcade that includes props and memorabilia tied to the IT universe. We all had $25.00 gift cards each for the arcades. It was busy and pretty limited though. Since we did the Funhouse, we'll have to come back and try out the Sewers escape room. The Escape IT is open year round and you can book reservations by calling in! The team members here are fantastic! Time slots can get booked up fast especially on the weekends! Very realistic sets that make you feel like you're in the movie. A fair amount of jump scares. Up to 10 people so you'll be grouped with strangers given how popular this place is. The set design on these rooms are incredible. The amount of detail used to create every scene with an emphasis on immersion is incredible. There are so many awesome props and details linked to the movies that you feel like you're on set. I would say that the puzzles were mixed. At some point you get moved on rather than spending too long in any specific room. The actors/guides are great, and really work hard to keep you feeling the anxious anticipation, but as far as escape rooms go, I would say it's average. Again, the set and actors are great, it's just some of the puzzles and group sizes that limit the experience. I had a really disappointing experience at Escape It, and it had nothing to do with the concept itself and everything to do with how groups are handled. My party of three adults was paired with a group of five teenagers who were constantly screaming, bickering, ignoring instructions, and generally being chaotic the entire time. It completely destroyed the immersion. I could barely hear the actors, couldn't follow the story, and any tension or fear that the room was supposed to create was gone within minutes. This is not the experience you expect when you're paying around $60 per person. Escape rooms like this rely heavily on atmosphere and focus, and pairing adults with a loud, disorderly group of kids ruins that entirely. There really needs to be better group matching based on age or at least clearer separation between adult groups and minors. This was beyond frustrating and honestly felt like a waste of money. On top of that, the Pennywise costume was extremely underwhelming. The mask was oversized and visibly warped on the actor's face, and the actor himself was much shorter and far less intimidating than expected. During the chase scenes, I ended up just walking through them because there was nothing scary or immersive about it at that point. If you want any chance of enjoying this experience, you absolutely need to book a private party. Otherwise, you're gambling your money on who you get paired with, and in my case, it completely ruined the night. I won't be recommending this to anyone. read more

The manager reached out and refunded us and was super kind after we wrote an email about doing a chargeback... That's all we wanted, something fair. All is good, we will back when we are not pregnant to try this. We signed up and were super excited to do this room. After we signed up the waiver to sign said that we needed to confirm we are NOT pregnant. My wife is pregnant, so BUMMER, we cannot do the escape room... big bummer, it looks amazing. We immediately reached out and explained our situation and the denied a refund, 5 minutes later. They did let us know that we could GIVE away our tickets or fly here another time to do the escape room. Super generous of them, lol, to allow us to give or sell our tickets to, I don't know, obviously we are on a vacation. So this review is for that, what a bummer, I own a business and these situations happen. For some reason, businesses are, I guess heartless/greedy these days. What I would have expected is a no worries, that is such a bummer, we hope you guys come back! But no, they apparently REALLY REALLY need our $330 that we can now not use. We will do a chargeback, most likely win, and be left with a sour taste in our mouths with this company. For the company, I would say do better, kindness, understanding, these are simple things. First, let me say that I had no idea what to really expect from this escape room, I have done the SAW room, and loved it, but this one is next level. We opted for the Escape " Funhouse " which I believe was more off of IT: Chapter 2. There is another option of " The Sewers" and believe me, I'll be back to try that one! We walked in and were greeted in what appeared to be a 1980's movie theater type set. The girl who checked us in was very friendly and informative. The max group is 10 people, I was with my friend, and basically did the experience with 8 strangers. Before you start, you all must agree on the level of difficulty easy, medium or hard... only 2 in our group had ever done a room so we all chose medium. ( that means basically, they let you struggle until you give up then they give small hints to solve puzzles). We entered and the place is very much set up like the actual movie. The rooms make you feel as though you are in the same creepy places from the movie, and they have done a fantastic job replicating the sets! This is a typical escape room, in that you really need each piece of the puzzle to complete the challenge, however, if you run out of time in a room, you do move on to the next room. ( I like this because we got to experience ALL of the rooms, and make our way through the "movie" to the end.) I don't want to give away too much, but this was harder than most escape rooms I've done, and doing it with strangers, poses its own challenges. Our group had a few people that had didn't understand how interactive these rooms are, and it really does take the whole team to help solve the room, if you want to be successful. Nevertheless it was still so much fun! These escape rooms are NOT for the faint of heart. They are scary, with live actors, jump scares, and unexpected surprises. I have literally never screamed so much in my life. Our actors were amazing, as they guided us from room to room, they used our names and tried to make us feel like we were part of the story. When the room was finally over, (and No, we were not successful in completing the challenges. I think we got 2 of them...) you end up in a room with memorabilia from the actual movie set, some items you can purchase, like tshirts, key chains etc. and an arcade. I highly recommend this escape room if you're looking for a good scary event. Stopped in vegas for two days, so we decided to check out this experience not too far from Fremont St. For about $50, a person, you will enter an immersive and gripping story of the missing children within the Derry sewer system. It honestly was well decorated as multiple areas captured the allure of each scene that you can recall from the original source. The actors captivated all of us to participate and were a great addition to each part of the experience. Unfortunately, I have to rate this light 4 stars when I originally wanted to give 5. I brought a fair amount of young ladies, and one situation with one actor left a bad impression as I felt it was distastful behavior. It was only one person and everyone elses performance was great and respectful. In addition, there should be some serious review regarding the barn area where there's crawling involved. read more

The actors were fantastic, staying in character and engaging with us by offering hints when needed, which made the experience even more immersive. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into the decorations and setup, creating an incredible atmosphere. It was so much fun, and we're already planning to come back to try the Fun House next. The only suggestion I have is to replace the plastic mask for Pennywise with full makeup--it would add a scarier and more realistic touch. I love all things horror and I love doing escape rooms so I knew I had to check this one out. It was a little different because one of the workers went though with you and played different parts during the story. They would say certain things that would wind up being clues to help you with the puzzles. There were multiple rooms and each room was very well done, you felt like you were part of the movie! I will say, that if you don't book the entire room, you will get paired up with other ppl so we had 3 people with us but it wasn't too bad. After the escape room, they gave us a little game card (included in that package) to play some of the games they had. They also had some props set up to look at. Definitely one of the best, if not THE BEST, escape room we've been to! It was almost like a combo of an escape room and a haunted house at the same time. So worth the money! The actors were great, the set up was top tier, the sounds were legit, and the special effects were amazing. We did the Fun House and we ended up signing up for the Sewer immediately after the game. Thats how much we loved it! Then there's that arcade that we played at where you can buy shirts, caps, etc. Finally, some of the movie props were there as well for viewing. Highly highly highly recommend! PS You will get hints if you really want it but our group (2 of us + 7 strangers) did pretty good without a lot of it. Although, I did wish we weren't as rushed to move along to the next room but I understand that pathough since the place was massive and you gotta get to the end since other groups are slightly behind us. Overall, the escape room itself was scary but with enough people and if your fear of clowns isn't too bad then you'll be okay It felt like a mixture of a haunted house and an escape room which was really fun. A lot of jump scares and it keeps you on your toes cause you don't know what to expect. However the rooms were really fun to get out of. You're in a couple of rooms before getting to the finish line. When we did feel stuck or needed some help as to where to find some clues the actors would be kind to sort of help you out but also give you enough time to try to figure it out with your group. There is an arcade area right when you enter and another in the back with IT merch and a cool little museum that you can check out. We paid about $400 for a group of 8. No words but WOW! This is my 1st escape room and I was blown away! Not only a great bonding experience but overall amazing. As an adult that loves horror I felt like we were in the movie. Well done! Can't wait for Chapter I. Worth the trip up from San Diego! Can't wait for Chapter II! The challenges made you stop and think but we're not too bad (plus there are awesome scareators to help you along the way if you need it). Our times ranged between an hour 15 and an hour 20'ish minutes. We came in two groups, one young adults and us adults and it was perfect. We got a few good scares and we loved it! Each room was beautiful, the set design was very well done and the staff from beginning to exit were so nice. Don't forget to stop by the Derry fairway/arcade games if (just kidding) when you escape. There are also some items from the movie like one of the original Pennywise costumes and the bikes belonging to the Losers Club. So much fun for kids and adults. We had 3 private groups of 10 for a work team building event and we had a blast! The Arcade/snackbar/gift shop/waiting area was a great place to chill out in until our group was called. We played some video games, grabbed some snacky snacks, and took pictures with some props from the actual movie until we were called in. The props, production and the actors involved in this escape room experience was fantastic. I have to give extra props to the actors/chaperones who played their roles well and were helpful with the room without giving the solution away. Each individual escape room felt like a real life movie scene from the movie where you're able to interact with in order to solve puzzle to escape to open the door into the next room. All the staff we came across were very friendly and provided great customer service throughout our whole experience. We scheduled this for our last day in LV... and then my youngest woke up with a fever I emailed to see if I could get a refund for our three tickets, and I was told my options were to transfer my tickets to someone else or rebook for another time in the future. Because I'm planning to return here just for the IT escape room?! I get it, places don't want to refund, it's not great for business, blah blah blah. I've worked in customer service, so I know most things are not impossible, including a refund. For a sick kid. With a 102+ fever. Totally unplanned and actually kind of a bummer for our last day in LV. I was able to get a refund for the Cirque show we booked that evening, so thank god for them (and that). I would not recommend this business purely based on customer service and their willingness to have family friendly practices (because shit happens). read more
