So it turns out me and some fam aren't allergic to Derry! This place is an escape room with the theme around the 'IT' franchise. No pictures or recordings once allowed inside, but once you get in, you solve a series of puzzles to progress to the next room. Of course, there will be times when Pennywise the clown is involved. I came here with family and we were paired with another group. I thought the puzzles were very clever and the attention to detail and the set pieces were fantastic. Acting was great and the staff was very helpful and fun. There was also a fun little ongoing 80s/early 90s (?) theme. At the end, there was a room where you can purchase stuff and play some video games and take pictures with some cool stuff from the movie. It's good fun for the whole family and even the kids would love it as long as they're not scared too easily. It was actually my first escape room and I had a lot of fun. Definitely a fun group activity. Especially if you're a fan of the franchise. Just another note: we made reservations through the website and they just ask that you show up a little bit early to make sure that the scheduling is on time. read more

Had did part 1 previously with my siblings, & had an amazing time! However we decided to also take my parents with us to do part 2 a few weeks ago & the experience was not as great. Got there with plenty of time for our reservation, & were asked the level of help we wanted due to it only being my family for that time slot. The problem began when 30 mins had passed our reservation time because they waited for those who bought both escape rooms to add them to our time slot. Instead of just being my group we ended up with 6 more people. We of course were annoyed they did this after already confirming it was just our group, but then the actual escape room experience was ruined when one of the individuals that was added to our group complained the whole hour about how it wasn't scary, annoyed they were helping (the actors). Overall we couldn't enjoy the experience with a stranger complaining every step of the way, & making comments to everything that was happening. So keep in mind when they tell you it's just your group that won't always be the case. read more

I've seen it said many times in the highlighted reviews but just in case it wasn't clear- the production value is an A+ here. Never have I been to an escape room of this caliber before. This is a step up from your Escapology franchise- it legitimately feels like you're part of the movie, and my hubby and I loved the new IT franchise. We decided to try Part 1: the sewers with my brother and cousins as a private group of six. If it's still available, I highly recommend getting the Groupon as it saves you some extra $$, and who doesn't love saving and having a private group? We had a mix of personalities, the majority of the group didn't see the movies and were not typically into anything relatively scary... but we decided to hold hands and power through together... We all ran out of there with smiles on our faces and agreed that it was a great cousin outing that we won't ever forget. I won't get into any spoilers, but this is a very well put together and highly immersive experience. There may be some LIVE actors you meet along the way and I was absolutely horrified over this going in. After escaping, I thought this was a fun touch and would love to try all of the other rooms this company has to offer. I'm hoping they continue to get more business so we can do another room next Christmas! read more

Excellent production value. Huge escape room space with 2 different escape room options: The Sewers (based on the first IT movie) and The Festival (based on the IT sequel). I've done more than a few escape rooms and this one's production value is top notch and huge. Came here Halloween weekend and did both. Booking: Book online to confirm date and time. Option for group (up to 8) or private experience. When you book one room, you can buy the second room at 40% discount for future use (good deal). Experience: Overall, the experience is much more escape room with a little bit of haunted house but was not that "scary" as a staff member is with you the entire time. There are multiple rooms in each experience and you have a limited time to solve the puzzle in each room. Both spaces look like a move set, really really well done in term so production value and space is huge. The Sewers: We enjoyed this experience more mostly because the puzzles were a bit more solvable. We solved most of the rooms on our own (with some hints) within time limit. We were with a family of 3 of 6 of us total. The Festival: The puzzles are much more subtle and very hard to solve on your own. Some require min 4 people to do different things in 4 corners of the room and we were only 3. We weren't able to completely solve more than a few puzzles in the time limit. The production value is great but a lot harder, which takes some of the enjoyment out. Overall, really enjoyed the experiences and highly recommend. read more

Amazing super scary experience! Totally exceeded all of our expectations, nearly pissed myself multiple times. Props and actors are too realistic. Loved how similar the scenes were to the movies - like spot on. I would recommend this escape room to all of my fellow horror movie lovers. Makes me wanna go home now and curl up on the couch to watch the movies again. 10/10 would do again, after I revive myself...made it especially scary since it's spooky season!! read more

We loved Escape IT! It was a combination of Escape room and Haunted House that actually really worked well together. We ended up booked with 8 strangers but honestly we needed the mix of people to help solve the puzzles in each room. Yes, each room... there's many rooms and each is uniquely themed to the movie. My favorite was the clown room.... oh I get the chills thinking about it. The "actors" will help assist as you go through just to make sure you make it through each room in time for the next groups. Wonderful experience. We bought tickets on groupon so slightly discounted as the experience is not cheap. We already plan to do the Saw escape room next time we are in Las Vegas. I took the girls here on Friday the 13th and it was the best halloween activity thus far. Pennywise made a few appearances throughout the game. Alot of jump scares also lots of fog. The fog was almost choking me but it was really work the money.. you can go on Groupon as well and get a ticket for the escape room as well as a 25$ play card for the arcade after!!! So much fun!!! My husband has been wanting to come here for a while and I finally mustered up the courage... Every part of the experience was carefully crafted and the various actors were fantastic. There were several different rooms to navigate through and we luckily were paired with 3 other visitors that we worked well with to solve every puzzle. I think it'd be hard to solve the puzzles with just 2-3 people, 4-6 is probably the best group size! I was super nervous about what type of scares there would be. I read other reviews about being "chased" by the clown but luckily it wasn't one of those run for your life things...haha. Plenty of good jump scares all over and you're definitely on edge the entire time, which makes solving the puzzles more challenging! The actors in each room try to nudge you toward clues when you're struggling. All in all, a great experience for a great price (the same amount as a regular escape room). I think the entire experience was a bit over an hour long. The actors were fantastic and the set pieces were incredible. Can't wait to return to try chapter 2! read more

Was expecting an escape room. It's more of a walkthrough attraction. The sets themselves are really cool looking but all the puzzles are similar. "Find the combination to the single lock in this room" which is fine I suppose but where they lost me is the guide basically tells you what to do the whole time. Not once were we able to struggle through a puzzle. They tell you exactly what to find, exactly what to do with what you find and in the rare times that they didn't, the rooms were on a timer and the door would just open regardless on if you solved the puzzle or not. Took our girls basketball team here and they all had a blast. Communication through email was as smooth as possible since we had a larger group. Reservations were booked easily. Very disappointed! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st IT room two years ago. We've been waiting that long to be together again to do this one. We are all huge IT and escape room fans. Unfortunately they really did a disservice to both. The sets were great, that's pretty much the only positive. But the 'guides' were so frustrating. They asked us before we went in if we wanted a lot of help, a little help, or only help if we asked. We have played dozens of rooms so we said no help unless we asked. So we wore the red bracelets. Right off the bat, 'Ash' told us all the clues and rushed us through every room. It became increasingly clear that it was not a true escape room. Very very little needed to be figured out. After the 'Simon' room (which didn't work 100%) I asked him nicely if we maybe had the wrong color wristbands because I thought the red ones meant we only needed help if we asked. He said 'yes, and you haven't asked' and I said yes...which is why it's frustrating when he keeps telling us stuff. The second half was 'guided' by a young lady, I don't remember her name. She was yelling at us to do something for one of the rooms but she was yelling and saying it so quickly I had no idea what she was saying. The music/effects were are also way too loud. I had to scream for my family to hear my 'number' for that puzzle. At the end it just wasn't fun. Some rooms absolutely required them to tell us what to do. It made no sense. We barely saw Pennywise and when we did, it looked like he was wearing a huge cheap mask. I don't know if owners changed in the past two years, but it was definitely a different experience, sad to say. You all really need to let people figure out the clues, stop rushing them out. Lengthen the intervals between groups. We paid hundreds of dollars and it just seemed like a loud 'IT' themed walk through with people mad at us. I sadly do not recommend this at all. Used a groupon to book the VIP (private) which included $25 game cards. Without spoiling too much: IMMERSIVE and massive room(s)! Quite impressed with the set ups, wow! I counted at least 12 rooms This is like a slight blend between escape room and haunted maze, In a sense that you're always progressing through rooms (similar to the way the Saw Escape Room is - same company. i think?). In terms of puzzle(s) difficulty, id say easy- to-moderately challenging. I think the scare factor might is what makes it more challenging.... since you're constantly anticipating that you might run into Pennywise. With that being said, Yes, there are actors. No, they don't touch you. Might they walk a little faster toward you in order to keep you on track w/ where to go? Yes . We were able to get most of the puzzles, but every now end then an actors in the room might offer a 'suggestion.' Arcade at the end is small and you can win some prizes, take a free picture, gift shop, and props from the movie. Staff was great and appropriately helpful. We had a great time!! All of the staff were awesome. The production is amazing. Fun and challenging puzzles to solve, and the live actors will give hints along the way if needed. Being chased by Pennywise was the best part and scary as hell!! The arcade games at the end were a great addition, as well as some actual movie props on display.
