    Fish and chips.

I decided to give the Black Bear Saloon a shot as I waited for my flight. The sign out front said seat yourself, so I did. I sat by the bar, I sat for approximately 15 mins before anyone came over. Once the bartender/waitress came over I ordered my drink and food. Drink came out right away. I went with the fish and chips as I was sick of burgers and sandwiches. Food came out at 11 mins 16 secs. Which I thought was fast. The fish was good, it was cooked well, it was actually very hot. Almost burned my mouth, but better to be hot vs cold. Fries were ok, some were crispy some soggy, some burnt. Not bad, not great. For an airport, it was a decent meal, no complaint aside from the initial wait time before being greeted.

There are not too many nice choices for restaurants at Bradley airport and Black Bear Saloon seemed the best so I decided to give it a try. Although the restaurant was fairly crowded, service was pretty fast, ordering was straightforward, and the cheeseburger was pretty good but not outstanding. I did like the french fries and the ambiance of the restaurant. Its hard to be choosy in a busy airport and they had some good options if you are looking for something before a flight.

Five stars for a full-service restaurant within an airport! Bradley is one of the smaller airports, so to have such quality food and such a large restaurant was absolutely surprising. At this place you seat yourself and before you are fully seated, a waitress comes over and ask if she can take your drink order, or if you already know what you wanna eat. They are very prompt with bringing you your drinks, providing refills, and getting food to you. There are charging stations throughout, and all of the prices are really, really reasonable. I ordered a Riesling, a chicken quesadilla (you can get it baked, grilled or fried; I opted for fried), and mozzarella sticks (ate them before taking a photo), and my total was about $40. Will definitely stop back during layovers!

I was waiting for an American Airlines domestic flight when I decided to have a decent meal. I decided a togo rather than dine in. Nashville chicken sandwich was my favorite here. Erin's blackened chicken was good as well. Food was ready in 15 minutes. May be I was the only guy who took out food. Rest of the crowd was having a beer, relaxing and dining in.

This place is my go to when I fly into Hartford. The food here is really good. I usually go for the sliders, but haven't had anything bad on the menu. Both the philly and chicken sliders are awesome. Tacos are great too. I'll update this after I try their chili when I'm landing here vs flying out

Sounds strange to say this is better each visit. Threw a twist this time and asked for (a guttural combo) of 10 wings 50:50, dry rub Jamaican jerk plus buffalo, and the dry rub Cajun plus garlic parm, shockingly a win win! Coupled with the pork and kimchi dumplings (loaded and fully dressed with chili oil) delish. Comfort food for the flight!

The place for a sit down meal in terminal A. Nice selection of beer and wine. Menu is digital since COVID. We had the hamburgers that were very good. Farmers ‍ has egg and avocado - delicious. The Bacon cheese burger was very good as well. They have mastered the classic McDonals fries - perfect. You can upgrade to sweet potato waffle fries is $5 but the regular fries were very good.

Service was great! Great food and beverage recommendation for waiter. Clean fun environment.

As far as airport food goes it is fine. Obviously it is not fine dining but in a pinch it definitely satisfies. The service is quick and the food portions are pretty decent. The restaurant is conveniently located right next to TSA which gives you the opportunity to get right in and dine. I had a grilled chicken Cesar salad and it was a nice sized portion. The eggplant fries were delicious.

This place is perfect before you take your flight out to paradise! Quick service. Plenty of spots to sit. Many options to choose from for a quick meal before your flight. Definitely check them out when at Bradley!

Over cooked burger that supposed to be medium!

I am eating a 24 dollar burger that is over cooked. The waitress even asked if medium was good I said perfect. Our waitress was very attentive unlike the line cooks. No I did not complain maybe I should have but I'll just never return.

Great beer selection. BUT: 1. The bartender was way over worked. She was filling drinks for the entire restaurant, tending the bar itself and also serving some tables. The manager should be fired for this. 2. Whatever cleaning fluid they are using smells awful and was way too strong.

I'm not sure if it was a shift change or just timing, but even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, it felt like we were left a bit on the side for a while. Nothing major, just something noticeable. Also, while the food is creative and well made, some items felt a bit pricey for the portion size (for example, a meatball serving), so value may depend on what you order. That said, it definitely wouldn't stop me from coming back. Good food, good beer selection, and overall a solid spot.

I would bring everyone there. When they opened the new location in Windsor , it was still great. It was a birthday outing type of thing. I went again last week, which was likely my final time. For the past few years, I've been giving it a pass... growing pains, maybe? But the food is not what it was. The succulent, juicy brisket that I used to dream of has been dry and cold for the last year or so (probably 3 or 4 visits). The burnt ends, which used to be as addictive, are now no longer made from brisket...but what seems to be cubed chuck...again, dry. Texas sausage and pulled pork are still ok, as are the sides. On top of that, they are always short staffed, and the staff that they do have is not helpful...not friendly.. Just a big NOT anymore. I haven't been to the Hartford or New Haven locations recently, but as far as Windsor is concerned, it will not be going back anytime soon. I don't mind paying the premium prices for quality food and service, but you are no longer premium. Please figure this out. My favorite place no longer exists.. and I really want it to return to the quality of the past.

Perhaps their other food is better than what I ordered, which was a combination grinder, but I have to say compared to others that I've had in the area, this seemed more like a 7-Eleven convenience store hoagie with its limited amounts of meat and cheese. The other thing that I'll mention )just because it seems to be a theme at every restaurant that I've been to around 8 PM in this town), everybody seems to be far more concerned about walking out the door two minutes before they're supposed to close is the impression they leave on guests now walk in 20 or 30 minutes before closing time. This will be the third time I've been to some quick family dining establishment in the area that I've had this experience-- I'm gonna offer management the same advice that I've offered to other establishments nearby: If there is a time of day that you want to leave work, you should close your business in whatever time it takes for you to clean in order to make that happen as opposed to risking guest walking in and being made to feel as if their inconveniencing everybody who works there for making the decision to go to your establishment to spend our money.

Mon to Sat they open at 5am. I was only 10 minutes away from 6 but I figured they look like a place I'd want to eat at anyway and fate brought me to this awesome establishment. Upon entering it's not too bright and not too dark especially for this hour. The place looks immaculately clean. It's your typical diner feel just a little more modernish with the color scheme inside. Two breakfast bars and the rest booths and tables. Round stools at the bar for seating. The waitress greeted me and I just sat at the breakfast bar. I got a a coffee to start, nice med - dark roast. Not burnt and tasted freshly made, good quality Java to wake you up. Better than Dunkin could offer lol. For my breakfast I decided on the Crazy Good Hash and a side of sausage (they offer links or patties, I love my patties so that's what I chose). First bite was just amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect .. I low key was just thinking it would be the stuff from a can like other diners use but no.. you will not get that here. It was legit fresh corned beef... griddled with hashed potatoes .. it was light and flavorful, crispy crust and soft interior. Not drowning in sodium like the can stuff. The corned beef really just melted in your mouth, so juicy and tender just like a properly cooked corned beef should taste. It was just amazing and I was completely blown away. Paired together with high quality eggs and perfectly toasted with butter toast, there was not one bite left. I couldn't stop eating it. I was almost sad with my last bite .. but I was about to explode anyway since it was a very generous portion. I'm just a glutton when it comes to good savory foods. The sausage patties were great too .. nice crispy and juicy, good flavor profile, not herby like some .. I don't like those but these were great. Please come give this place a try and go for the Crazy Good Hash and Eggs. You won't regret it.
