The studio apartments are roomy with a separate kitchen and separate bathroom. I love our little kitchen. You can have them furnished for $20 more a month, its a great start to a new home. The only problem we've had so far is noise complaints, which surprises me because we're not loud people. So be prepared to live a quieter lifestyle.

My car has been broken into and vandalized multiple times in the parking structure. Unknown substances have been found on my steering wheel and on the inside windows of my vehicle. My apartment was entered while I was not home on multiple occasions. The hardware component of my balcony lock was removed and stolen, leaving the lock non-functional. An internal electrical component disappeared from my Litter Robot's circuit board -- those do not just disintegrate. My furniture has been damaged. Clothing was cut up inside my unit. Additional clothing was stolen from the laundry room. Unknown substances have appeared on the walls inside my apartment after I left and returned. When I reported the laundry theft to management, their solution was to sit in a non-temperature-controlled room through the entire wash and dry cycle. It has been 97 degrees this week. I have an autoimmune disorder that makes prolonged heat exposure physically dangerous. That is not a response to a security failure. That is an insult. I have spoken with other residents who have experienced the same things: laundry stolen, cars broken into. This is a documented pattern, not isolated incidents. This building advertises courtesy patrol as a feature. I was later told in writing by management that courtesy patrol is not present for resident protection but to uphold internal policies. That is not what is advertised. A resident was shot and killed by another resident on this property. When I reported all of this in writing, management offered me two options: install my own Ring camera, or vacate. The Ring camera suggestion does not address the parking structure or laundry room, which is where the crimes against me occurred. A camera on my front door would simply point into my neighbor's unit and vice versa -- which is a privacy problem, not a solution. Management stated in writing that they do not feel responsible for foreseeable crime on their property. They advised me to call the police and move. E&S Ring Management holds a D-minus rating with the Better Business Bureau. There is a reason for that. If you move in, document everything from day one. You will need it.

A gym with zero TVs or mirrors. The pool has been open for how long now and there's still nowhere to sit, there's no shade, or anything. I've only used the pool once and I ended up burning my back because since there's nowhere to lay or sit, I had to put my towels on the ground, and it was too hot that it burned my back. Also why is it that it seems like these apartments are made out of eggshells? Every little turn I make creates a dent in the wall, like really?! Seems like the complex put out some good incentives in the beginning but once they got people in, it's like nothing has happened. After moving out of the Le Blanc apartments they are not only are withholding my…read moresecurity deposit of over $2k, but are trying to charge me additional money to clean, paint and change carpets in our unit. The carpets were in bad shape to begin with when we moved in, and now they are charging us to replace them (eventhough this normally should be an accepted charge for managing and maintaining an apartment building that has years of use.) They also are claiming that because the apartment was not deep cleaned - absolutely nothing was left in the unit and we fully cleaned the place with some minor scuffs on the wall just from living - that it is beyond normal wear and tear of someone living in an apartment, eventhough there is photo evidence of the opposite. I had never not received a security deposit back, and now have to spend my time taking them to court because they are being the typical, greedy property manager people warn you about. It is also important to note that we moved out 5 months ago, and are just now getting to the legal process due to their complete delays in email responses, and we have only gotten answers after following up, occasionally multiple times. I will acknowledge the building manager Edie was very sweet and generally helpful while we were renting there, and their maitenance team was super responsive. Please think twice before renting with them if you want to see any bit of your security deposit back.
