Cute little shop, with great prices. The coffee has an authentic flavor that you just won't find at the big box stores. They offer a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches. Definitely worthwhile to stop in.

    Traditional Macchiato!

Took a venture to Powell Ohio to check out an Antique Mall and of course I find a local coffee shop in what looks like a former bank. Espresso 22 is proudly brewing One Line Coffee and making a tradition macchiato. They have a wide menu of coffees, lattes and cappuccino both hot and iced, with your choice of flavors. They also serve wraps, flatbreads and breakfast sandwiches and a variety of baked goods. The inside is bright and open thanks to all the windows. Real plants around the space add to the peaceful feel. It's very clean and has lots of seating. The barista today was wonderful. She took the time to explain the drinks and all the differences. Thanks for helping to make us better coffee pros! Next time I'm in or heck around Powell, I'll be back to espresso 22.

    After shopping lattes!

While visiting my cousin long before COVID, we spent an afternoon antique shopping. The best way to wrap up our day was with delicious lattes. Espresso 22 is adorable inside and out. It looks reminiscent of an old house from long ago. Inside it feels cozy and inviting. And yes it felt like we were sipping our beverages in someone's living room. The young guy behind the counter was all smiles. He was sweet and helpful as we decided on flavors. He didn't rush us as my cousin bounced back and forth from all of the decadent choices. My cousin loved her white chocolate and I fell for the peppermint. The barista certainly knew what they were doing as our beverages were expertly created. Our lattes were piping hot, creamy and divine. Nestled in an adorable shopping area filled with tons of boutiques and antique shops, Espresso 22 is the perfect spot to begin or complete a day of shopping. I can't wait to return!

Latte With Almond Milk And Bagel

Espresso 22 is the best place in Powell for coffee. It has a small dining area inside. They also have a drive thru. It also has some food. The employees there are pretty nice too. I had a latte with almond milk. It's about $3 for the regular size. That is a pretty good price for this. If you're hungry they also serve breakfast. This is available all day too. I had a bagel with hummus. It's about $3 and comes with a generous amount of hummus. The bagel isn't that special but the combination is good though. Better food than expected from a place that primarily sells coffee. Other food options include salads and sandwiches. I would go here again. It's the best coffee and maybe the best breakfast in Powell. The atmosphere is enhanced by an easy hip music soundtrack.

Best iced latte I've ever had. Truly. And I consider myself an expert. This is my new stop on the way to the zoo!

I finally stopped in today and so glad I did!…read more I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd given up hope on finding a cozy coffee shop ever again. The ones around Columbus all have the same feel to me, more modern, overly bright, and give an overall cold-feeling, but not this place! It's got tons of charm, cute 70's surf vibe, and no shortage of comfy seating options. The staff is wonderful, very genuine and helpful. I had a breakfast sandwich and salty surfer latte, both great. Thanks for creating such a warm and welcoming environment!

Despite that, it still feels a bit cold inside (maybe the white walls) but still cute. I love the various seating options but the couches are soooo low. The staff were all friendly and the place was quite busy! We ordered but didn't have to wait terribly long for our drinks. I love the variety they serve. I went for a spunky option of the banana split latte (thinking it would be mostly banana). I ordered it iced and it did require a good stir as all the toppings and banana flavor were at the top. I wasn't a fan of sprinkles but I just let that sink to the bottom . I did enjoy the flavor though. My mother ordered an iced vanilla latte and my brother grabbed an iced shaken espresso Vietnamese beverage and both were excellent! I definitely recommend the coffee!!

It's super busy on Saturday mornings, but mid morning during the week, there's short lines and your choice of tables. Several people had laptops too, so it's quiet enough for that as well! Their pastries are what bring me here, the coffee brings a lot of others. Their blueberry galette is delicious - large flaky pastry, ripe blueberries, with a delicate sweet cheese filling. My friends go to is the Biscuits & Jam or the Ham & Swiss. I picked up an Everything Danish to go home - like an everything croissant with an herbed cream cheese - so good!! We also enjoyed black coffee and an iced Chai! Look forward to my next trip back to Dublin!

Our last visit we were blown away at how fresh and well baked everything was. Even the oatmeal was smooth and creamy. The servers were also so happy to help us select items and tell us about the products. This time, we were an afterthought and seemed liked a nuisance for not knowing what we wanted. I felt like the pastry selection was small compared to the location we went to before. The breakfast sandwich was really thrown together- the last time it was warm and cohesive with a good amount of sauce and the eggs were so fluffy and light. This time very rubbery. The croissant I had was raw/doughy although well flavored. Oatmeal was one big clump versus smooth and velvety. The strawberry matcha was super sweet with almost no "matcha" layer. Our cinnamon roll was over baked with no delicious gooey bits. Seemed like an affluent neighborhood which will support this addition, but maybe an instance where expansion is happening at the expense of quality.

I would suggest following them on Facebook to get the list of baked goods they will have in the days to come. Not all items are offered daily. For example, I wanted to order the triple berry bread pudding and cream puffs, but the cream puffs were only for Friday and the bread pudding for Saturday. When I went to pickup the order, I did not even have to step in the store, because they had orders boxed up and ready to go on a shelf they left outside the front door. I ended up ordering the orange zest cinnamon rolls, regular cinnamon rolls, triple berry bread pudding, honey whole wheat bread, and pop tarts that came in strawberry and brown sugar flavors. The orange zest cinnamon rolls were good. When I got to the end though, there was an overwhelming taste of what seemed to be orange liquor towards the bottom, which was not pleasant. The regular cinnamon rolls are huge and I can understand why they are 2/$10. However, instead of a drizzle of icing, I would have liked the whole cinnamon roll glazed with icing. IMO, there was not enough icing to roll ratio. The bread pudding was good and not overly sweet, it is $7 a piece. I really enjoyed their pop tarts, especially the strawberry flavor. The honey wheat bread is good, but thought it was a bit expensive at $10/loaf. Will try some other items in future.
