The coffee was delicious I have had the lavender vanilla latte and the salted Carmel latte with almond milk- yummm. Breakfast sandwiches- plates with omelettes, fresh fruit, smoothies and so much more. The extensive menu is served breakfast through 3 pm and then goes down to a much more conservative, but still flavorful set of offerings. They have baked goods as well - a gluten free chocolate chip banana nut bread that is to die! And the portion was shareable! I loved that they spin records, real vinyl the whole day. The records are right there for you to peruse through. Located in a strip mall so easier parking and boosting indoor and outdoor seating. Man, I'm so disappointed. I come here all the time. I'm a regular. I was working all afternoon here with my laptop and left my charger here. I came back early the next day and was told they didn't have it. Although, two workers revealed in their reaction that they were aware of the charger having been found. And for whatever reason, they didn't have it. Knowing they took the charger, I told them no worries and that I would return later. i love this place! They play vintage vinyls from the 60's and 70's...what is there not to love... What: breakfast, and lunch coffee joint with a cool hip vibe. Owner Jeff and Frank really brightens people's morning commutes with their contagious humor and lively conversations. When I can I will stop by here in the mornings before work for their great coffee, amazing fresh baked scones and of course the Jeff and Frank show!! the place has a cool hip vibe like you just stepped back into the time when the Beatles were still together, Jimi Hendrix was setting the world on fire and Ban the bomb could be heard across college campuses. The store is shaped like the letter "L" so when you walk in to your right there is a small intimate area with very comfortable chairs with lots of individual small tables. So you can sit there for hours doing work without feeling bothered by the sound from the common dinning area. It's brilliant! Where: it is across the street from the Kroger and next to a dry cleaners. Parking/traffic- they have one non-handicap parking spot in front of the store. This is not something that they can do anything about. I've been here a couple times now. Both times had bits of espresso grounds in my lattes. The lattes were just ok. I would rather go to Starbucks. Today I tried one of their lunch sandwiches. I'm really disappointed in Espressos. This used to be my absolute favorite coffee shop. So much so that I bought and wore an Espressos shirt, proudly. About 2-3 months ago I was with a friend and happened to be wearing my Espressos shirt. She asked about it and had never been so I happily decided to take her. The service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry so it was ok with us. It gave us time to chat so no biggie. But the lady behind the counter wasn't the friendliest. My friend asked for a side of butter. The server told her, "It'll be with your muffin". To which my friend let her know it was for her coffee. It seemed the lady had a bit of attitude. But we just dismissed it. But at the end of the day my friend wasn't impressed. It saddened me because I love espressos and wanted her to love it too. A few weeks later I stopped in with my son and his girlfriend. I ordered banana bread and a cup of water. Then went to wash my hands. The kids ordered smoothies. We watched a group of 6 park, walk in, order and get still their FOOD before us. My son's smoothie finally came out but I had to ask about my banana bread. It was on the lower part of the pick up counter. No way would I have ever guessed that's were it'd be. They never called me or mentioned that it was ready even though they saw me standing there waiting. I'm still puzzled as to how a group of 6 got their food before we could get two smoothies and one piece of toasted banana bread. Fast forward to today, Saturday May 29 at 5:40pm. I'm in the area, despite having multiple sour visits, I still love their banana bread so I decide to stop in. CLOSED! Yet the sign on the door says "Close at 6 everyday". I'm not sure if they're having staffing issues, if the staff has changed, or just if the level of customer service has diminished. But either way, this was the last straw. Which is sad because I'm a very forgiving person and do not like leaving negative reviews. It takes a lot to get me to this point. read more

Been here a few times. The food is decent but pricey, this I can deal with but it's the customer experience that needs work. The staff overall is not that friendly. The two last times I've been here the young man behind the counter making the food has some real anger issues. He slams things, throws stuff back onto shelves and just looks miserable. The owner I believe or she could be the manager, was standing right there and says nothing. This is not a good representation of the business. If this is the way an employee is going to behave in front of customers, then maybe keep him in back of the house where customers don't need to feel like they're in a hostile environment. read more

Not all employees were wearing masks and only about half of them wore it correctly. Food was good. Iced vanilla latte was nothing great, but not bad either. Not cold but tepid. Served the waffle with a syrup dispenser instead of a little shot glass of syrup. That was awesome as the little shots are never enough. Not sure the dispensers were cleaned between customers. This is my favorite coffee shop. Took me awhile to find, honestly- it kind of blends into the shopping center it's in. But I've been coming here frequently ever since! Food and coffee is always fantastic, workers are kind and welcoming. Atmosphere is the best overall- vinyl records playing, rock n roll decor (and for sale, if I'm not mistaken! Love the support of local artists), dim lighting and very cozy. I study and do work here all of the time, both indoors and on their patio outside. Definitely recommend! read more

Visited this place today with a friend to do some work and the girl at the counter wasn't very friendly. She didn't even say Hi to me when I walked up to order. If the owner had not been there, this place would get 2-3 stars. The owner was super nice and he changed my mind on leaving, plus the peppermint mocha wasn't too bad, although I wished it had more of a minty kick to it. The place itself is cute. We went in the morning for breakfast this week and surprisingly it was packed! Sat down, the table was a little dirty (no one cleaned), and went to go order. There were so many options! I got an omelette and my husband got the meal with scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, english muffin, and waffles. Oh man, their eggs are so delicious!!!! We were shocked. Very good secret location. Secret in plain sight. I just hope not too many people crowd me out. The breakfast and lunch options are consistently good and the coffee (usually latte) is delicious. They play vinyl records all the time, with good sounds, but not too loud or too soft. The walk up staff are friendly and fast. I like how they had land out 45 singles as table markers - let's you know the staff/owner appreciates music. The Italian and angry Italian are good omelets. Talk about a hidden gem. This little spot is FANTASTIC!! I was working in the area when I needed a cup of joe and did a quick search looking for a Starbucks. This happened to be less than half a mile away so I thought I'd check it out. Walked in and the place was really clean, there was a nice mix of people inside so I decided to proceeded to the counter and found a great menu and some really nice pastries in the display. The barrista greated me warmly and was absolutely delightful. She was so pleasant at 4:00pm, which I usually try to avoid this time due to shift changes or personnel seem to be ready to go home. This was definitely not the case. The barrista asked if I was new and then proceeded to make a couple of recommendations. I took her up on a slice of pie and an Americano. I must say, both were great and hit the spot. Since the experience was so pleasant, I decided to sit and do some work. Outside of the good atmosphere, wonderful service, and really good coffee, their WiFi was fast as well. What more could you ask for? What a great find and wonderful surprise!! The location is convenient and the atmosphere is very inviting. Cozy tables, display cases with delicious-looking goodies and a friendly staff. Ooh and they sell merchandise, so you can shop while you wait (very little time) for your order. A woman's dream! I picked up breakfast for 2 to go. The sandwiches were HUGE and the ingredients were fresh. We had the Classic with ham on a croissant and the slider with ham, also on a croissant. Eggs were perfectly cooked. Usually when I see the signature green umbrellas and a logo with something resembling a siren, I run the other direction. I'm not sure why this place seems to resemble a Starbucks, but even the font selection of the place would make you think so. But, I'm also not one to judge a book by it's cover, so I gave it a try for lunch the other day. I also had a ScoutMob deal for it, which doesn't hurt. Once inside, I knew I was safe. The decor is very relaxing with little tables set up, as well as big, comfy sofas. There was also a selection of records on a bookcase against the wall, and a record player that people kept playing music from. I heard that they had a mean chicken salad, and I must say I have become quite the chicken salad connoisseur as of late. So, I ordered that along with a hot apple cider since it was too late in the day for coffee for me. I gotta say, the rumors were true! This chicken salad was excellent! Chicken piled high, just the right amount of mayo, and served on a warm, flaky croissant. I'm usually not a fan of grapes in my chicken salad, but didn't mind it in this one at all. Also, many people say you eat with your eyes. Well, maybe it's because I'm a sound engineer, but I love paying attention to sounds in the world as well, food included. This croissant made the most delightful crunch sound when I picked it up. So good! I'm thinking this is the secret to a good chicken salad. The apple cider was also very tasty, though it was served with whipped cream. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I just wish I had known, so that I could opt out while I'm trying to be healthier for the New Year. But, I was pleased with their selection of non-caffeinated hot drinks for a cold day. Unfortunately the girls that take your order are the grumpiest I've ever seen working a customer service job ( I have worked in restaurants and customer service and I know this is not the way you present yourself.) Getting a smile or polite attitude from them is like pulling teeth. They look pissed off, hung over or really tired or maybe all of those together; I'm not sure. I've been here four times now and this is consistent...it never gets better. I came here for breakfast one morning with my best friend. It's kind of tucked away across the street from the Kroger shopping center. At 7am, the shades were drawn so I thought they were closed, but they were definitely open. It's a bit dim inside and later I was surprised to see how many people came in for coffee. I ordered the healthy hermit wrap with fruit salad. I felt healthy eating the wrap to say the least, but it wasn't anything special. However, I feel like this coffee/cafe place is probably better for lunch as I hear people talk about their tomato bisque, which you can get to-go in the morning, and their chicken salad. I might come back another time for it. It'd be great if there were more places like this. It's kind of like a Starbucks meets Panera in that there are much more coffee beverage options.
