We rented the house to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. The host was very easy to work with. Very satisfied with the rental.

A GREAT HOME IN A PERFECT LOCATION. Jun 2017…read more From the start we had incredible service and professionalism provided by LA Guest Suites. It was great having such a responsive team standing by to take care of a few tiny minor glitches that were done quickly and perfectly. For the home, having rented over a dozen homes in the LA area...and a good share elsewhere, this lovely home has become our absolute favorite. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 teens), providing all of us with enough room to have our own space, and spacious enough in common areas to enjoy watching a movie, playing board games, and having dinners. The space was light and bright, really well-furnished, and the gorgeous walk-in closet made me want one at home. We fell in love with this part of town, strolling Robertson and Melrose were a breeze. Great restaurants, shopping, everything was pretty fabulous. Though the kitchen was not as well-stocked as other rentals, that was such a minor point. All in all, this was a great 2 weeks and we're eager to return to West Hollywood.

I had very noisy neighbors, I don't know their names so let's call them Crystal and Meth. They stayed awake all night talking loudly and none stop, they started playing music at 2am. Every time I woke up they were talking or shouting. I called the desk who said security would check but nothing changed. I was told the next day they were checking out but they then booked another night so I moved to a quieter room on the 4th floor. Again all the time front desk people were nice about it. I had eight nights there are location is amazing especially for the pride events right in front of the hotel. It's very affordable as I mentioned and these days rooms much cleaner than past years.

Be prepared to pay a $300 incidental fee, $50 a night in parking and god forbid you use the room phone! I found out the hard way that they charge a minimum dial fee, then a "per minute" charge on top of that. I had lost my phone and tried calling it to see if someone would answer and was hit with over $100 in fees at check out for those unanswered calls. There was ZERO information posted that they would charge for in the US calls. They could've cared less when ask about it and then refused to compromise on the charges. Nobody there should be in hospitality. The stay was extremely disappointing to say the least.

It was one…read moreof the quietest and most peaceful hotel stays we've ever had, which was such a pleasant surprise for LA. The property is tucked away but still within walking distance of a few shops, which made it feel private yet convenient. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the pool area is large and relaxing--perfect for unwinding after a day out. We also really enjoyed the small bar and the musician photo gallery, which gave the hotel such a cool, creative vibe. The brunch menu was a little fancy for me, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate and make something simple. I'm a pancake-and-bacon kind of gal, so I was very thankful they made it happen! We didn't get a chance to visit the spa this trip, but it's definitely on the list for next time. The villas looked adorable as well, and I would love to stay in one on a future visit. We were nervous about finding a place we loved in LA since we usually stay in the Irvine/Newport Beach area, but this hotel is now our favorite spot in Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect place for anyone visiting Hollywood and its environs, especially if they want seclusion, hipster vibes, and luxury all in one. While I haven't stayed in a room or villa here, I have spent time on the sprawling property and explored its nooks and crannies. The public areas are clean and retro (think '60s, mostly, to my mind) and note the music industry nods at every turn. I will let my photos do more of the talking. The parking is either valet, right in front, or on the street. The vegetation is almost tropical and there is shade from beautiful mature trees on all sides. You will be close to the action while enjoying a sanctuary from the glitsy-glam chaos that is legion in this part of Los Angeles. If I wanted a cool getaway, this would be near the top of my own list.
