I have been living in my home for 14 years now. 10 years ago I had my condenser and evaporator replaced. It has never cooled very well even with the original system that came with the house 14 years ago, and It was not better when I replaced it. I didn't expect them to answer because they were the 3rd company I called and the first 2 went straight to VM but I got a live person who I was able to speak with and get an appt right away. They efficiently and effectively communicated what time my appt was (2hr window) and called to let me know that they would be late. They even sent me a text when they were on their way. We have an old air conditioner and Scully's was able to revive it and it works like a charm now, replaced the capacitor and the pump, cleaned the coils, and replaced the refrigerant. Brandon was recommended to me by two of the guys I used to work with on the ambulance. Trusting those guys, I scheduled an estimate with him. I already knew what the issues with my AC were (the guy who flipped our house 3 years ago before we bought it put in too small of a unit and the actual install was wonky...none of the duct work was sealed and the unit wasn't draining properly which caused the over flow pan to over flow and destroy our hallway). So I climbed in the attic with him on the day of the estimate and he expressed genuine disappointment on the horrible instal that had been done. He was disappointed because things like this create a bad reputation for all AC trade guys. He gave us a quote and after 3 years in living with an AC unit that leaked and barely cooled our house since it was too small and leaking in the duct work, we pulled the trigger and had him instal a new compressor, coil and replaced the duct work. We were able to keep the furnace which saved us a little money. During and after the install I climbed in the attic and he answered all my questions. I am not longer worried about water leaking into my hallway since he raised the unit and fixed many many problems. The instal was fast and great! He had two helpers who were awesome! So when it's 90 degrees out give them water and Gatorade! The first time we turned the unit on it was about 95 outside and 86 in the house. We were able to get it to a cool 78 pretty quick. Maybe within two hours. This was not possible before with the old system. The new system now blows strong and cools the house much more effectively! Next house we buy or any AC work we need, we will call Brandon for sure! Highly recommend! read more

I told him about my AC situation and he told me that he was busy for the rest of the week but would pass by to check out my unit on his way home. I was very impressed with the communication and the fact they didn't charge for work that was not necessary. I had scheduled a full system inspection, duct cleaning and installation of an air purification system. Upon initial inspection the duct cleaning was not necessary and I was not charged for that cleaning. The remainder of the work was completed in a very timely and professional time frame. I called Scully's Air after getting an outrageous estimate from another company to replace my aging HVAC system. Brandon came out quickly and got my old furnace up and running while we decided what to do about replacing it. Brandon's quote was much lower than the "can't be beat" other quote (it was in line with what I thought it should cost). He was willing to work around my schedule and start the job as soon as the parts came in, which was quick. Brandon is very knowledgeable and does high quality work. I had an issue with my heater (wall unit) he was able to quickly fix my unit, explained to me what he did and what needed fixing in case it ever happened again. Then he cleaned the inside of heater out entirely, to be honest that really impressed me. The technician was incredibly thorough, respectful, and you can tell takes a great deal of pride in his work. We had been quoted an extremely high price and were being pressured into replacing the whole system from another company. Long story short the unit is working properly despite being a older unit. Any other company I'm sure would have tried to sell us something we didn't need. First time turning on the air this past weekend and it just wasn't getting cold. It was already after 6 on Saturday. I looked on FB Valley Springs Bulletin and looked for reviews for A/C companies. I saw that Scully was not too far so I decided to call. I didnt really expect anyone to answer. So I hung up. Not even 5 seconds later I get a call back. Brandon said he would try to fit me in between his jobs on Monday. More than i expected. He told me he would keep me updated and if he wasn't able to fit me in he would call me early in case i wanted to try someone else. Wow i wasn't expecting that too.
