I've been living at Estancia for almost 3 years now. It has been through approximately 3 or 4 management changes since I've been here. The most recent (and hopefully last) change occurred a little over a year ago. I couldn't understand why, but then I realized the company was simply searching for better management of their property. With the team they have in place, they seemed to have found it. Management is courteous, helpful, friendly, and communicative. Whenever I've gone into the leasing office, they've addressed my concerns. When I've requested maintenance, they've put in the work order while I am present and maintenance usually gets to it the same day or the very next day. The maintenance guys work well and are efficient and respectful. This management team has gone above and beyond what most management teams do by providing activities to bring the Estancia community together. The most recent being a poolside event where they had catered tacos and held a raffle. They handed out breakfast for the residents once and held a Halloween event as well. They've also had Papa John's come here on a few occasions so residents can buy pizza for $5. These gestures bring the residents together and help us to see who our neighbors are and to get to know them which, in my opinion, is important for a community. The effort put forth by this team has demonstrated their care for Estancia and its residents. read more

Been living at this apartment complex for 3 years and rarely bug the management team because unfortunately they don't really listen too well. I got my car hit in front of my own apartment by a person that also lived in the complex and couldn't get any help from the management team regarding that. The person ended up running to Barstow to never return to the complex. There are many street cats that are around, which doesn't bother me at all. Until those street cats are sleeping in front of your front door, and jumping onto your porch trying to get into your apartment. There was actually a black and white cat that managed to run through my apartment because I didn't know it was at my front door one night after opening it just to go outside myself. I then find that the same cat had jumped onto my back porch (mind you, I live on the 2nd floor) which is not acceptable. The front office still had no solution and won't allow you to put anything up on your own railing on your porch to make sure the animals stay away. I payed animal rent for my own cat to have her own space without the discomfort of other animals intruding on her and the management team does nothing to help guarantee that safety. Through out the 3 years I've lived here, the few conversations I've had with the management they've done very little to help me and my family. I've always done my best to just stay out their way knowing that they won't do much and that's exactly what I've done. Sadly no matter how good of a tenant you are, they will not try to work with you on certain matters that you may address. They either like the solution that YOU the tenant have come up with yourself or you're simply out of luck. read more

Please please please do yourself a favor and look for some place else to live. This place is the worst! In the short 8 months I lived here my boyfriends truck got broken into and my tires got stolen. I slipped on a mud trail at 6 months pregnant because they refused to fix the sprinkler system that leaked. Paid the early termination because I couldn't do it anymore and shortly after they sent me an invoice stating I owed early termination payment which was incorrect. I did the math and they owe me part of my deposit. I have left voicemails and emails and have received nothing in return. It's ridiculous how unprofessional this complex is. read more

Lots of red flags but still moved in here a few years ago. Roach problem is huge! Can't get rid of them no matter what. They keep the complex nice and clean which is a plus. When I lived there, within 3 years the mailboxes got broken into several times and mails got stolen. Took them forever to instal the gate but who knows how it is since I left. Management changes a lot. Had some good managers and some horrible ones. They always look for an excuse to go in to your apartment and use outside contractors that leave a mess in there. I had their maintenance use my bathroom while I was gone and left a mess, used my toilet papers. Another time they left a mess and didn't clean it. Another time broke my washer ah took them 3 weeks to fix it but no matter what wouldn't stop charging me for the washer dryer even though I couldn't use it for their mistake. Then they raised my rent by $200. Even the manager knew I was one of the cleanest one they've ever seen even when they went in unannounced and never caused an issue. Glad I'm out of there. read more

DON'T DO IT. Just don't. Unless you enjoy bad-mouthing hell spawn kids, creepy people walking around at odd hours and your car being keyed and the windshield cracked. I lived here for two years and I didn't realize the stress I had just from living there. My neighbors were inconsiderate, always had people parking my in carport, having their kids drag the scooter down the stairs step by step. The people just stand on the stairs even though they see you trying to get to your place. The cost may sound ideal but please think twice. There are also bad roach issues. Luckily I've only run into two being on the second floor. Good luck if you do move. read more

Horrible service, glad I did not rent from here. Celeste was super helpful the first day and I made an appointment for the following evening for a tour. Mind you, it was raining the day I made the appointment and forecasted to rain all week. I took work off early, got to my appointment at 4pm, to be told they actually weren't doing tours "because of the rain". WHAT THE HELL. No phone call, no nothing. Why even let me make the appointment t knowing that it was supposed to rain the next day? Why not call me to cancel so I don't leave work early? Horrible. The lady at the front asked who I made the appt with, I said Celeste, and she just apologized on her behalf. Do not. I will repeat....DO NOT consider this place as your living quarters. Not for a month or year. My car was vandalized today for the third time. Tires deflated. The last time management was informed the response was, "it doesn't look as if it's vandalized." I told her that she is not an adjuster but I would be happy to forward the information from an actual mechanic. Of course there was no response. Not to mention that the idiot keyed my car completely around the vehicle. I suppose she was not able to see that either. My neighbor, who was in the process of moving out (because he had good sense and the means to do so), returned to his vehicle to find it was stolen. Another neighbor found food, scattered paperwork and all of her change stolen upon entering her vehicle one morning a few weeks ago. Talking to management is like having a conversation with a brick wall. The gate is open to the general public. Random people come and go constantly. Kids roam around night and day. The pool serves as a shower/bath and general spa date night for anyone who is fit enough to walk through the unsecured front gate and hop over the gated gym/pool area. There are cameras (strategically placed within a gated mailbox area). Possibly encouraged by the postal service due to numerous issues with mail theft.There are several pop up mechanic workshops throughout the apartment building. On any given day or night random people (puffing on tobacco or cannabis) are working on a or multiple vehicles. No need to tell anyone masks are no longer required because it never applied. You can get a car wash by random kids in the building parking lot. A water hose runs clear through the building to aid in the process, obstructing drive/walkways. It does not help that people are living 5 to 10 per household here. No, it has absolutely nothing to do with times being hard and everything to do with what this management has allowed. Cars race at top speed without keeping a watchful eye for pedestrians (including the elderly, disabled, or children) or other vehicles crossing their path as they blast tunes and smoke heavily in their cars throughout the driveways. People freely park in areas marked in red paint as they obstruct traffic (be it pedestrians or other drivers). On any given night while walking to your car you are visiting a smoke dispensary. Not to mention the darkening of apartment walls and yellow spots from the smoking that occurs indoors. Whatever's your pleasure....marijuana, cigarettes, and hookah's. No need to find a local club open during quarantine. All the music you can stand is right here for your enjoyment. From mariachi, rap, dance, pop, and many more. Waiting for the 4th of July or perhaps it's your favorite holiday. Well, Estancia has you covered! Just wait until sunset and random tenants will have just the show for you. Before you think, "no this can not be." I have cameras. Cameras that management refused to view when told that they were available. The management claims that they do not have cameras and told tenants that they had to take their cameras down. Therefore, the foolishness occurs because this management will never see any of the things mentioned. Trust and believe, I wear the official stamp of minding my own business. I am writing this because a 3 or 4 rating is reaching (at best) and I wish I had been warned that this would be my experience under this management group. I must agree with anyone who has praised Peter. He works in maintenance and credit is well deserved there. He does his work and is more forthcoming than most in his position. He deserves a 5 rating. On the other hand, getting adequate repairs completed by management is a nightmare with avoidance as the main theme. So, good luck with orders that include major repairs (damaged walls from neighbors smoking, old pipes/leaks, old damaged peeling wood, floods with feces from your neighbors, etc.....) Terra and the previous management team under the current management group are collecting checks with minimal to no work/service. My advice, ask them how many times terminix comes to spray in a slow month. Better yet, drive by at night. Hey, you may gain entry and see, hear, and smell everything mentioned. Understand that daytime hours work as well. The foolishness occurs during the day because of what management does not see. But I bet she can see her pay check. If you don't believe that, look up the police report records under this apartment. Some people still report crimes. If you decide to stop by instead, be sure to get your car washed, car maintenance work, dance, sing, and if you smoke puffing and passing is not a requirement simply inhale and enjoy the fireworks. Be sure to run if you think you hear gun shots as opposed to fireworks. You're probably right. Hope everyone is safe out there during the pandemic and you find this post helpful read more

Do not move in here! Management is ridiculous! We lived there for 4 years and we do have a indoor/outdoor cat who pees outside, he has used a litter box in the house a few times. Anyways when we moved out the manager told us we would be charged a lot to clean up all the pee from the cat, without even doing an inspection, she claims from her last visit in the apartment she could smell it, well actually the smell was from the carpet in the bedroom, when it was rainy the roof was leaking down the inside of the walls under the carpet, we lived for a month with wet carpet and have a toddler, who slept in the room with us. We would literally have to soak it up with towels, we would go through about 15 towels a day, it wasn't a little leak and there was no urgency to fix it. We lived a month with wet carpet that was covered with towels. Have you ever smelled wet towels that have been sitting out? That was what u were smelling. They told us we would automatically be charge for cleaning without even seeing the apartment, said we wouldn't get any pet deposit back from all the damages from the cat without even seeing it. If any of your blinds fall off be expecting to pay to pay for them. This is the type of place that just wants your money they could careless about there residents. read more

I currently live here! What made me sign the lease is the lower rent and being able to have pets. However since moving here in February of 2013 the office staff has changed so many times I can't count anymore. They staff is always rude and have no idea what customer service means. Never explain things correctly or efficiently, work orders sometimes don't get done or they half ass the job. Myra and Nicki are extremely rude and have been the worst office staff by far that I've had to deal with!!! When I complained about having to pay $10 for the renters insurance that I already have Myra said I had to bring it in before the first and nobody is forcing you to live here you can leave when your lease is up!!! What kinda of office staff says that??? Don't do it!! Don't move here!!! read more

This is the WORST apartment complex i've ever lived at. They dont take care of their tenants at all or their complex. They have an issue with theft and do not plan to do anything about it.. I lived there for a year and i caught 3 men breaking into my car, my clothes were stolen out of the laundry room, my mailbox was broken into and they stole my mail on several occasions, they constantly left the gate open so anyone could come in, and they never labeled the dryers and washers that were out of service so my coins were constantly going to waste.. Our move-in was very smooth, No surprises, everything stayed consistent. Sometimes is hard to get a hold of management however they are prompt to return your call. Work orders are sometimes fixed the easy way but they are also fixed within a day or two. Grounds are well kept, during the night time there are some people wondering around specially towards the back of the complex. In my opinion some areas could be better illuminated but I have not had any bad experiences as far as vandalism goes. Neighbors mostly keep to themselves, with the occasional "Hi" or "good day" Noise level can be a bit high, specially on weekend nights but closing your window can fix it. I also love being able to come home and not having to struggle with parking, You will always find a spot. I'm only a few months into my stay here but I'm content. read more

I got to say I've been living here for just under four years now and this place is great. The ladies in the leasing office are wonderful. Whatever question or concern you have they always have the right answer and always helpful. The maintenance works get the work orders done in a fast and timely manner. I agree with Christina. I went for a tour last Saturday, Mayra was by herself and super busy. She was super friendly and made time to show me the property. She even called me back to check if I needed more information. GREAT customer service. I went in to turn in my application and spoke with Nikki who was very nice, friendly and more then willing to answer questions. I have a friend who lives at the property who has explained to me that there is several residents who are upset because the owner has raised the rent. I believe that could be the case with the reviews. They got a new manager Nikki who started just as they raised the rent and residents are upset with her instead of the owner. I recently had an incident after hours but they contacted maintenance and they were able to take care of the problem that night. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've been living at the property for 2 years and have to unexpectedly move out. They don't tell you how much you would have to owe when you sign paperwork but now I'm stuck having to pay over $3000 just to move out of low income apartments? How does that make any sense? The assistant manager is a joke. I asked to speak with her supervisor or someone else above her and she replies that she can't give me any info to contact them because she doesn't have internet. If you are any functional business, you would have that information on paper somewhere in your office. I even asked if I could possibly do a payment plan, she said no. It seems like they have absolutely no interest in helping us out. I'm extremely disappointed because my stay here was not bad at all but the customer service is disgusting. How can anyone that lives in low income come up with $3200?! Just sad read more

If you find an advertisement for this establishment stating they have a 1-bdrm apt going for $910.00, please do not bother. This price is strictly for a bond program in which there is a 2-yr minimum waiting period, instead this advertisement is used as propaganda and lure potential renters to the vicinity. Actual price for 1-bdrm goes for $1120-$1150.00 and 2-bdrm go for $1360-$1400.00. If you decide to inquire, make sure that the rental office personnel actually treats you as if you are business. My experience today showed me that your inquiry was pointless to the female individual in the rental office. Unless you are filling out paperwork on the spot, she couldn't really treat you like you were there for business even if her life depended on it read more

where do I begin.. well I been living here for 3 years now and would never recommend it to ANYONE this has been the worst experience ever!! you would think after having new managers it would get better I think it got worst I went in and asked for them to come look at the carpet that is over 8 years old (according to my carpet cleaner) they said they would come its been 2 weeks and still nothing.. the short little guy in the office acts like his shit don't stink, and thinks he's Mr. cool guy because now he's a manager.. I do not ever write reviews on anything. But I feel I should because it is well deserved. My husband and I have lived here for 1 1/2 years. The management change shortly after moving in , I had read the reviews from Estancia before moving in , it was posted that management always changes and I did not like that, I too had been in Property management years before so and I didn't like the fact of transitioning managers. So was a little reluctant in renting here because of managers always being changed. However its a business and I understand when management is being rotated to where the need is. So saying that when new management came in I had to give the managers a chance as I was a Property manage/supervisor in my past. So I changed my mindset and GAVE THEM A FAIR CHANCE!!!!! Once your mindset is changed you are able to see people for their true value. Delsea, Celeste, Javier, and Anthony are valued in my book. They truly work as a TEAM. I have had a couple of maintenance problems in our apartment and no matter how small or large they have been , it always has been corrected by the end of day. And they always treat it as a priority, to a tenant it is important to know we matter, and that's exactly what TEAM ESTANCIA Delsea, Celeste, Javier and Anthony do. They make sure we Know we matter. Living at the Estancia Apartment Home In Ontario.I've been living here for 2years now and trust me I'm not going to lie.the managers at first was full of B.S.I hated living here it was like (Hell) So after all the different managers coming and going we finally got a new one her name is Candy, she came along a got the ball rolling with everything. She even did fun stuff for the kids in the apartment complex we never had that with the other managers.She made me love my place and everything got fix when I put my work order in with no problem.I even love the maintenance guy's they are really awesome they do a really good job with keeping the property clean and everything .but if you decide to move here.keep your children away from the manager.Candy, she will spoil them:) read more

I was considering moving to this complex based on price and location, when I called the person who answered the phone (on Saturday) gave me information and told me that the apartment was going through some remodeling and I could go Monday to check it out. Monday morning comes (today) I go in and the lady who was there told me I had to make an appointment to see the apartment. I told her I tried calling but no one answered the phone, she said she was busy doing things like pay roll, okay.. Anyway she said she thought the apartment I wanted was "on hold" for someone and she called someone else who didn't answer.. She said I could still make an appointment to go see it later today and that she would call me beforehand to let me know about the pricing...(which btw changed from Saturday [they are closed Sunday's]) to today, she never bothered to call Me back and i had to call her back....I could tell my business was not wanted there because I called from my cellphone twice back to back with no answer, and right after that I called from a different phone number and there was an answer. I am completely appalled by the neglect and lack of good customer service....I will take my business elsewhere. read more
