At the time of car drop-off I was told that the price was $190 + tax (which should have been only on parts, labor cost should be exempt). However, when I came to pick up my car the invoice stated the final price at $230, which included some additional fees not mentioned over the phone. Additionally, they charge 2.75% surcharge for the card service even for a debit card transaction. When I mentioned that this isn't legal in the US the guy said that he didn't care. My recommendation is to always ask for an out of the door price preferably in writing.

The new shop cannot believe that a reputable transmission shop put a new transmission into this car, as it's unsafe to drive and the engine can fall out at anytime. When I picked up my vehicle at the end of October, I was happy and ready to write a 5 star review. I had no idea we had been swindled.

CD Jr dealt with the third party completely and updated us every step of the way. He asked me a couple of questions and told me what he thought was the problem and an approximate cost to repair. I said I would be there Monday morning. I received a call a few minutes later and they told me what needed to be done (front brake pads and rotors) and the cost (which was what I was told on Saturday).
