Margarita connoisseur here-Esther's has a great Cadillac margarita! It's a very low-key neighborhood taco spot with decent food and good chips and salsa. The tacos are a solid choice on Taco Tuesday, and I'm also a big fan of their enchiladas. I also love that you can show up in sweatpants any day and feel totally welcome

After discovering this location on Instagram, I decided to give it a try as I hadn't had a hard shell taco in quite some time. Given that it was advertised as a Mexican food establishment, the tacos appeared promising. The ambiance was lively, and our server was exceptionally friendly. However, playing non-Spanish music in a Mexican restaurant seemed somewhat incongruous. As for the food, I ordered three tacos - carnitas, al pastor, and carne desebrada. Unfortunately, only one out of the three met my expectations. The salsa had a perfect balance of heat. In contrast, the Carne Asada platter was disappointing, with the meat lacking tenderness and flavor. Given the subpar experience, I wouldn't recommend returning. Additionally, the prices were somewhat steep, and I noticed that the menu charges extra for chips after the first round.

First time ordering Carne Asada fries and it was good and filling! Normally get the Chile Relleno which is my favorite!! Shredded burrito was good but a bit dry. Service is great, very attentive. They check on you. They know if you don't need a menu, then you're a local.

Chicken taquitos from happy hour menu. Good size

Taco Tuesday at Esther's but really they have a happy hour from 3:30-6 pm with fair prices for tacos. They are busy so you may wait for table but they have to go option. Food is good. Big tacos. Bean dip needs more beans kind of watery with the salsa mixed in. Chicken taquitos crispy but not overly fried and dry!

This was my first time going to Esther's! I got a protein bowl and my husband got the nachos. The service was great, ambiance was very fun- I want to come back for happy hour, but the food was just alright compared to the selection we have in socal. I hope to come back to try tacos or something more popular on their menu.

Who's excited about Esther's now having a hard liquor license?!? Chip, salsa, tacos ....finally the long awaited Margaritas!!! YAY!!! New on the menu - Black Cherry Margaritas. It's so fleshingly delish!

To go ordered the taco platter and the enchiladas. Carnitas, shrimp, pastor, and 2 asada tacos. Its was average. Needed more seasoning. The enchiladas- tasted like they dumped a container of salt into. Super salty. Took 1 bite and spit it out.

We found a table and sat for a brief time before a very nice lady came by to greet us. I'm guessing she was busy and that might have been the reason for the slow service. She was very nice and friendly. She brought chips and salsa. The chips were thick and unsalted. So the crunch was heavy. The salsa was tasty and was pleasantly spicy. I had chilaquiles. They were covered in a red sauce and cheese. They weren't crunchy but more chewy. The rice and beans were delicious. And the plate covered with 2 well fried eggs. The place was clean and the tables spaced to give room for each without being crowded. For me, the food was good but not very memorable. The service a bit slow although the 2 ladies were very nice but busy.
