Was here recently on the weekend and can confirm they're still running. As others have mentioned, they are near the NAPA, so closer to Monterey and Southside with a couple of other trucks in between them and Panchito. They're at 8 a pop right now. I like their assortment of toppings, and the bar was clean although they were not busy at all when I went. I also went before midnight, can't confirm if they're still running late late hours. My only nitpick might be that I'm used to and prefer some type of sliced pepper with the sliced onions and that they've taken on some color in the bacon grease, whereas I was only topped up with just sweated onions here. read more

To order, decide what you want from their poster menus and a lady in an apron standing around the truck will take your order. She'll call out your order to the cook in the food truck and then collect your money. You have an option of togo or eating at their fold out tables. What is a fried quesadilla? Think of masa dough, molded into the shape of a taco/empanada, deep fried to golden brown, sliced down the middle and stuffed with your choice of filling. They serve the fried quesadillas on foiled wrapped plastic baskets. All fried quesadillas are $3.50 each. Choices of fillings include.. Pollo/chicken -the BEST! Plus why get a tiny little hot dog wrapped in bacon when you can have a big hot link wrapped in bacon :) -hot links: ($3.50 each) My #1 choice. Consists of a big meaty hot link wrapped in bacon. My only complaint is that sometimes, the bacon is a little burnt. After they hand you your bacon wrapped goodness, you get to top it off with whatever you like. Tried this little Hot Dog cart out this past weekend and it was a-okay. The boy taking orders was very kind and it is a bit of a wait since it looks like they stay pretty busy on weekends. Anywho, you walk up, and place your order and wait for them to hand you your food. You then help yourself to fixings that they have set up and either eat on the little table they have set up on the side or take it to go. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with the food. It's just I don't think it's a $4.00 hot dog. Granted, it has bacon on it, but so what? All of the condiments were great, but nothing out ordinary. In all fairness the salsa and the Mexican cheese is a very nice touch, but for what ever reason, the flavor did not jump out when bite.
