Best hot dogs in San Jose. If you are near the area go get a hot dog and their deep fried quesadillas. By far some of the best food for a late night craving. They are quick and always welcoming to anyone. Their aguas frescas are delicious as well. The bottomless selection of toppings is what makes this place amazing.

Love their bacon wrapped hot dogs!!! They make the wieners themselves with bacon not just wrapped but bacon inside as well. They have a variety of toppings and sauces to put on your hot dogs. They also have fried quesadillas, chicken, pork rinds/chicharrones. This is the spot to come to during the evenings. They are very friendly here. The prices are affordable so that's a plus.

Ladies if don't strike it rich at the bar on a Friday/Saturday night and need something to satisfy those drunken hormones, then I got the place for you. Now ladies Estilo Mexico Hot Dogs offers you a half inch of meat that will not disappoint you like half of the blind dates you've been setup by your BFF on Christian Mingle.com. We're talking about a 6 inch wiener, stuffed inside warm buns, steaming hot grilled onions, relish, green peppers, pico de gallo, orange sauce, and who can forget that creamy white mayo...the ladies can't get enough of that apparently!?! So the next time you're feeling lonely at midnight and need something juicy stuffed in your mouth, head on over to Estilo, open till 2am, and it will leave you satisfied from head to toe unlike your last bf!?!

So delish for a food vendor outside of a liquor store it was cleaner than some restaurants the quality was excellent and although they only sold hot dogs they had an abundance of toppings and good quality and cleanliness you can tell allot of people are regulars we will go back for sure!!

This is my go to spot for bacon wrapped hot dogs & deep fried chicken quesadillas! Located on the south side of San Jose, on the corner of Southside and Monterey. Its right in front of Hillsdale liquors. The man and woman that operate the small tent is usually there -Thursday -Friday -Saturday -Sunday I wanted to post a picture of the hours of operation but for some reason the last time I was there, the sign was not up. Hmmm....honestly, it also varies on how the weather is. I mean, you can't blame them....they are operating outside, under a tent and I can see why weather would be a factor. Thankfully, the days I mentioned above they are usually there! Lets talk about the bacon wrapped hot dogs smothered in CEBOLLA! They usually have a couple of different options: -regular hot dogs: I don't recommend these because they are dinky. Plus why get a tiny little hot dog wrapped in bacon when you can have a big hot link wrapped in bacon :) -hot links: ($3.50 each) My #1 choice. Consists of a big meaty hot link wrapped in bacon. My only complaint is that sometimes, the bacon is a little burnt. After they hand you your bacon wrapped goodness, you get to top it off with whatever you like. Here is a list of options: -relish -tomato -pico de gallo -red salsa -green salsa -guacamole -ketchup -mustard -mexican mayo/crema -mexican cheese (parmesan textured) -finely chopped onion -finely chopped jalapeno Lets talk about the deep fried chicken quesadillas! This is the one and only place that I have had it this way....deep fried. It consists of seasoned shredded chicken enclosed in a deep fried shell that is soft but crunchy. I definitely LIKE these alot! If they weren't deep fried I probably would not eat them. Anyway, these little babies are only available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This place definitely satisfies my itch for those LA Style bacon wrapped hot dogs that I used to get in the Fashion District area! Ya'll know what I'm talkin' about.... LOL Oh yea....solo efectivo!!!!!!!!

I saw this place grow from one little cart at the corner to adding chairs, a tent and even a neon sign! What hot dog cart gets a neon sign?? I love hot dogs. I love bacon. Hot dogs and bacon together?? WINNER! But I think I'm a slight bacon snob. I want it a certain way. Crispy, but not burnt. Fatty, but not dripping with oil. Flavorful, but not too smokey. I love that there's bacon around the hot dog, but it leaves me desiring more. It should totally be fried to perfection. It would give the dog more flavor and a nice texture, but not too shabby. You can add the normal condiments and then there's salsa and a variety of sauces. This place is usually open at night Thursdays through Sunday. Open until midnight. I stop by here when I really need a hot dog fix late at night, but I think the hot dog carts downtown are better. It's the only one in the area though, so it will do.

This place is amazing! The fried quesadillas are to die for! We've become regulars. The hortchata is fresh and homemade!

What happened to them? ): did they move?

Estillo's is open Friday through Sunday 6pm-12am. Right there in the Napa parking lot on south side drive and Monterey.

Where did they go! I haven't seen them in front of Napa anymore :( I miss this place anyone know where it is now?

This stand hasn't been here the past week, anyone knows what happened?

they are now right across the street from where they were. Inside NAPA Auto Parts parking area!

The churros were really good although we wish there was a non filled ones too and to have the optionof if we wanted it dressed up because churros are already super sweet with the cinnamonand sugar dusted but caramel and whip cream was added along with a strawberry filling. We also ordered a tres leches cake but we didn't like the tres leches cake, it was too sweet, so sweet that we couldn't taste the filling which we assume was pineapple lol the color was yellow with pieces of fruit but we couldn't taste it. Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

We waited 1.5 hours to be seated while half the restaurant sat empty. After we were seated, it took about 30 minutes for anyone to ask if we wanted drinks, another 30 minutes before our order was taken, and then an hour for the food to arrive. Throughout the wait, several servers were gathered in the corner talking and laughing while tables--including ours--were left unattended. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the service. The meat was dry, lacked flavor, and the shrimp was so chewy that I couldn't finish it. It was honestly one of the worst shrimp dishes I've ever been served. I've seen countless influencers giving this place glowing reviews, and after eating here, I simply don't believe them. My experience was the complete opposite. If you appreciate good food and good service, I would strongly recommend spending your money somewhere else.

My wife is Latina, so we're pretty familiar with authentic Latin/Mexican flavors, and from the moment we walked in, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We completely understand we're in Willow Glen and that Copita is going for a more upscale take, but for us, authenticity and flavor still have to be at the heart of the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of her service. However, when we asked about the style of the food, there seemed to be a little hesitation in explaining it, which made us even more uncertain about what we had gotten ourselves into. I don't like bashing restaurants or their food, so I'll simply say that, unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was the chips and salsa. The cocktails, on the other hand, were good and definitely not shy on the alcohol! Also, don't expect large portions. The restaurant is clearly aiming for a more upscale presentation and experience, so the plates reflect that. Overall, Copita just wasn't for us. This was our first visit and unfortunately will probably be our last. I genuinely wish them success, but I think a few changes, especially when it comes to the flavors and authenticity of the food could make a big difference.
