I had moved a lot of furniture outside, uncovered, and it started to rain, so Ricardo ran outside with a roll of plastic tarp and saved my furniture from water damage. This was above the call of duty! The floor looks great, it was a very good price, and the carpet we had installed to replace our old carpet on the stairs and upstairs landing is high quality, and again was installed by Jack with great care. Robert was able to measure, and estimate my floor two months prior to the actual work because my kitchen project was taking so long. He knew it was going to take a while and advised me to do it sooner than later to lock in prices due to inventory and inflation issues that could occur. I don't know of any other company in this field that has better service and communication than Abby Carpet. Robert is attentive and is very personable. He let me keep the floor samples for as long as I needed to make a decision on which flooring I wanted. The floor associates at the store were also very knowledgeable and helpful while shopping in store for floor options. The actual floor work was clean and timely. He did a great job making sure not to damage the existing base boards. He actually recaulked them so they look better than it was before. I thank him for that. He took a look at the photos I had and asked me to come down to Precision to see what we could do about matching a different piece of stairnose. He ordered the piece of stairnose for me and a week later sent Eduardo out to do the install. Eduardo showed up a few minutes early which was refreshing. When we finally were ready, I revisited Carpetworks plus a couple of other places. The installers did a fabulous job: super efficient and careful, managed the jenga of shuffling our furniture between rooms so the next room was always ready when the installer was ready, cleaned everything up.
