Best avocado toast I've had in awhile. The had a variety of avocado toast options . I chose the jalapeno and cheddar one. Soo goood! I added a side a fries that were also really good. The avocado toast had hummus and a bed of fried cheese that tasted delicious. Big portions and it comes with bacon but I don't eat meat so I opted out. You can also enjoy beer or wine or some mimosas also . I was on my lunch so I just had water. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Also attentive which I appreciated. Cute decor inside, I'd definitely recommend and I'm coming back to try more food soon

First of all, they waitresses are all good! We got seated right away. Good thing as 15 minutes later the place filled up. The menu looked good with many good sounding choices. #1 was eggs Benedict, #2 was 3 item omelet. The eggs Benedict was good. The omelet was not good. I ordered sausage, avocado, and pepper jack cheese. It was flavorless. The sausage was boiled and looked unattractive and had no taste, I had to use a lot of salt, pepper, and hot sauce to get flavor. The side dishes we ordered country potatoes, they were cooked well. Just needed salt and pepper. The portions are big. Two people could share either of these 2 dishes. Prices were about the same as other places, however a glass of OJ is $4.50, iced tea is $4.00. Those seem too high, especially the tea. Its water!!!

I was staying in Oroville to drop off my sister to college and stumbled upon this little eatery. The food was so delicious and fresh. The prices were reasonable. I personally grabbed the sweet tooth breakfast plate because I'm a lover of French toast. It had an orange tang to it which I did not like. But I sure ate everything else on that plate! The burrito was massive and the potatoes were cooked to perfection!!!!! 10/10. Service was pretty slow as it was busy had to flag the waiter down about 5 times for some napkins but not the worst service. Check out their drink menu as it seems pretty great!

Ethan's is a great place to go for lunch. Inside or outside seating. It's on a busy street but still nice. Parking limited out front but Raley's across the street. Service is always friendly & food is good. Prices are fare. We had ice tea, Arnold Palmer, burger & sandwich for $43.00. The portions are good sized. I ordered medium well and came out perfect. Wish they'd put the Thai chicken salad back on menu.

Worth the drive from Chico to Oroville! Friend and I are on a biscuit and gravy kick so we decided to try this out Saturday morning. Coffee served in amazingly large cup and vanilla flavored creamer. Score! Menu is large but not overwhelming. Our amazing server whose name I did not catch made recommendations that helped us order more food than we needed. Biscuits and gravy - huge chunks of sausage, fluffy biscuits, great spice. Chilaquiles with carnitas - delish! Carnitas was on the sweeter side, I think cinnamon is a secret ingredient Bacon, avocado, tomato eggs Benedict - tasty but of the three not my favorite. Nothing particularly stood out with this dish. BONUSES - tots at breakfast!! And their country potatoes were incredibly flavorful Cute interior, even though they were busy, it didn't feel overwhelmingly loud. Ready to go back and try their mimosa sampler!!

Service was great, food was good, ambiance was good. I really liked the chicken fried steak. Delicious gravy and perfectly cooked. The other two people in my party got variations of the eggs benedicts and I liked mine better, but they really enjoyed their meal. I also got hot chocolate, enticed by a photo on Yelp with whipped cream, marshmallows, and a chocolate drizzle. But it only came out with whipped cream. (Obviously not a super big deal but I was slightly bummed haha) While the ambience is cute, I do NOT like those chairs. They're those adorable metal ones that stack. They are so uncomfortable and only fit people with extremely narrow hips. So they dug into my hips the whole time. Very uncomfortable for fat folks or people with large hips, so just be aware that's the only seating option. I would absolutely come here again for the food, but probably won't make a trip to oroville for it since I'm about 20 minutes away. I also don't think the food was quite amazing enough to overcome that those chairs are the only seating option, just a personal preference.

Ambiance is cute and spacious. Server was friendly. My Cuban wasn't great...too much meat, wrong bread and way too much mayo for my taste. Kids loved their food though. Overall this is a nice little spot in small town Oroville

We were happy to get a seat for 6 so quickly! The service was friendly and the food came out very quickly. The atmosphere was actually pretty relaxing for a small space, it didn't feel tight or crowded even though there were a lot of people eating! Food was great, really enjoyed my Everything Avocado Bagel! I'd go back again to try some of the other menu items

Ethan's Eatery offers a robust breakfast and lunch menu full with classic favorites like eggs benedict, cinnamon french toast, and burgers. The interior of the restaurant is very cute, and the staff is so welcoming that you'll feel right at home. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating for those who want to take advantage of the warm Oroville days we have coming up. We arrived around 9am on a weekday morning and were seated immediately. We ordered their breakfast sammies (with your choice of meat and eggs), a belgian waffle, and the cinnamon french toast. The service is impeccable and we had our food in front of us in a timely manner. Their portion sizes are quite generous (we had plenty of leftovers to take back), and their plates are reasonably priced. You can really tell that the food is freshly made and everything eats as though grandma made it (so so comforting), a perfect way to start the morning. If you're looking for some tasty breakfast eats in Oroville, then I definitely recommend checking out Ethan's Eatery! Without a doubt, I for one will be back to sample their eggs benedict.

Ethan's is my favorite place to eat lunch in Oroville! I like the indoor or outdoor options. The staff are super friendly and all outgoing. I've ordered a lot from their menu and have never been even slightly disappointed. The food always comes out fresh and is delicious!! A+ to Ethan's and their incredible staff! Way to go!

Our meal was SO yummy! A nice twist on the classics... my egg scramble was with grilled onions and avocado. And hello... have you EVER seen such a beautiful fruit bowl?? My son ordered steak and eggs... it had a chimichurri butter which he said was the BEST steak he's ever eaten. Checked reviews to find a good breakfast place in Oroville and wasn't disappointed. My husband had the biscuits and gravy, which he loved and described as a little spicy. Perfect date spot! The best Bloody Mary in town as well as their pina colada's. Love their breakfast dishes but they always have yummy specials as well. Their waitresses are so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! read more

In my humble opinion, Ethan's is by far one of the BEST restaurants that I have EVER been to...I am hooked on their bacon jam burger which is cooked to order along with your degree of doneness (I order mine medium rare on dark rye) with onion rings..I love the service here too all of them make you feel so welcome with their genuine smiles, hellos & how are yous......You all ROCK!!! Not impressed by the food for the money. They say big plates, but nothing out of the ordinary. The sauce they put on the chicken was pretty disgusting,and sitting outside with people in cars staring at you while you eat was equally uncomfortable. Service just so-so and took awhile to actually get my check. Sorry not returning. read more

Had an amazing breakfast out on the patio at Ethans. It's always delicious and one of the most delicious new restaurants in Oroville. Today there was a mixup with our order and they didn't have to, but they compted our whole meal. The owner came out herself and Apologized. I was very impressed. This place is 5 stars! Classic breakfast/lunch menu options. I had the waffle (huge), w/ a side of sausage & scrambled eggs. Everything was cooked perfectly & seasoned well. Also had the bottomless mimosas which were great. Big props to Jessie, our waitress that day. One of the most awesome & sweetest people I've ever been served by! She's truly a gem at this place! Says it's closed (today is Tuesday) but it's open! Came here while on lunch from jury duty; I don't know many places to eat in Oroville but I was here for breakfast while my car was at Oroville Ford a couple of weeks ago(it was a great first experience!) so I returned, and glad I did! Communication with this place is non existent. I left two messages on their FB and tried to call. They never responded on fb. When I called it took forever for them to answer and the person was not sure of the answer she gave. They now have some ridiculous drawn /picture menu. It doesn't contain any information that the state of CA requires for health reasons. They use to have vegetarian and vegan options and I needed to know if they still did as my daughter has severe allergies. read more

This is the absolutely the best place to eat in Oroville. We were very satisfied with our meal. We were looking to eat here for a long time, and I'd wished we didn't wait. The food was fresh and very tasty. The Chicken Fried Steak was the best I've ever had. Now on to the service. It was very good, and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress was there when you needed something and not when you didn't. Would and will go back every time we're in Oroville. read more

This restaurant's burgers are great as well as their fries. I haven't had the breakfast myself, but my family says it's pretty good. But this is not the case on every visit. They aren't very consistent, and one time we ordered take-out and almost all our food was over-cooked and even burnt. We did call in to explain the issue, and they were willing to remake the order, but when we picked it up the BLT's bacon was just as bad as the first time. Ethan's has the best burgers and breakfast in town, but sometimes it can be a miss. As a side note, none of the staff seem to wear masks, nor do they enforce it on their customers. If you're worried about COVID, I would probably only order take-out from here. read more

The mimosas were very good! The service was very good! The food was ok! There aren't very many good restaurants in Oroville unfortunately. The food was on the good side for our town but not great. It's a good place to go for Brunch and mimosas. We'll definitely be back. read more

This place is the go to spot if you love Eggs Benedict! The hollandaise sauce is the best I've had in a restaurant. My husband has ordered the Chorizo Burrito twice now. He loves the flavor and it's plenty big enough to fill any hungry belly. We had friends join us one morning and they enjoyed their meals, as well. One ordered the waffle. He said it had a wonderful flavor. The other friend had a yummy omelet. I truly do recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The service was great each time. read more

I am picky LOL (little old lady). Didn't have to be at Ethan's. My meal was just perfect. Great service, great food. Even the fruit cup had ripe, juicy fruit. We ate on the patio, everyone was spaced well. So, it's hard to find a good breakfast in Oroville, especially for a vegetarian. I sincerely hope they keep earning lots of stars! read more

Best breakfast in town. Great service by Ashley. Attentive but not overly. Food prepared by Eddie & Justice was over the top. Eggs Benedict sauce was yummy. Potatoes perfectly seasoned & cooked all the way thru. I've been eating at the Cow & the Waffle Shop for years and the potatoes are undercooked and not seasoned. So it was a nice surprise to finally get tasty edible potatoes. Ethan's Eatery is my new spot!!!! read more

Great burger, but the atmosphere needs help…read more I recently stopped by Bigfoot Eats for a meal and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was genuinely delicious. I ordered the jalapeño bacon jam burger, and it really hit the spot. If you're a fan of generous portions, you'll definitely be happy with the fries here, though I did find the side of potato salad to be a bit small for my liking. Unfortunately, the dining experience was significantly impacted by a major fly problem. There were flies everywhere, which made it really difficult to enjoy the meal. It's a shame, because the food itself is great, but the lack of cleanliness in the dining area was a real turn-off. I'd love to come back for the food, but I'm hoping management can get the pest issue under control soon.

I get it with blue cheese dressing Hubby got the shrimp scampi again. And loved it. It was light and the shrimp was really good. Mom got the special Chicken salad sandwich with oyster salad which she enjoyed. I had the cotton candy fizz again. And the Montgomery peach smash. They are great ordered together. The fizz is better without the extra lemon and lime in it (which I asked for but won't do next time) I also really liked the white linen drink. Sat outside on the patio this time and enjoyed it

We opted for 1 of these, and on our way to "the other" café, we spotted Jenn's which was on the list. After we arrived at the first place, it was new and in a little strip mall. It lookrd full of people. We doubted that we would get a Cafe breakfast. Off to Jenn's we go. It's a very tiny hole in the wall. We walked in and saw about 5 tables downstairs and 2 upstairs, and 3 or 4 counter seats. It is tiny! Luckily there were two open tables downstairs. A minute later the place filled up. We had a great waitress! She was quick to get our drinks and then took our order. The food arrived in a good time, not too long of a wait, maybe 15-20 minutes. The breakfast of choice was a 2-egg omelet with avocado and cheese, and 1 slice of French toast served with butter and cinnamon, and a cup of warm syrup. Yum, yum, yum The breakfast was very good! They included our coffee and iced tea in the breakfast . We will definitely go back!

The look and overall vibe reminded me of a Silicon Valley café, but the prices were much more reasonable than what you'd expect for that kind of setting. It was nice to find a non-smoking area that wasn't just a tiny room or the corner of the building. I wandered around for a while enjoying the smoke free air, then layed some Lobstermania. I won about $24.00, then stupidly kept playing and lost $14.00 from it. I had a pale ale in the brewery, and it was delicious. The brewery is the highlight of the casino IMO. Ethan's Eatery is definitely a spot worth checking out. The food was great from start to finish. I ordered the chilaquiles with over-easy eggs, and they were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The tater tots were crispy, golden, and seriously delicious. I also added a pancake on the side, and it did not disappoint -- soft, fluffy, and just the right touch of sweetness. The waitress was very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. The place was clean, comfortable, and had TVs throughout, giving it a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Overall, a really satisfying meal and a place I'd happily come back to read more

Just ate at Ethan's Eatery for the first time with 3 of my colleagues. The waitress was very polite, the service was quick and the food (breakfast) was excellent! Large portions for a great price.
