Top of every container of food that we tried..

What a flavor!!! We got the vegan plate, beans, lentil, chicken and beef and wow, the spices and flavors were all over my mouth. Even my four grandkids loved every dish!!! Totally recommend and the attention of the owner/cook was so sweet and helpful. This is authentic Ethiopian food and so wonderfully made! Even the message on top of the Injera was a sweet gesture that filled the meal with love. Thanks for this fantastic experience and will comeback for sure... go and give them a try, you will love it too!

Loved this plate! I ordered the vegetarian meal and it did not disappoint. I got a variety of lentils and veggies, all seasoned perfectly. Injeera was also included with this meal. Absolutely delicious.

We ordered the Culinary Connoisseur, it came with doro wot and tibs, along with a variety of side veggie dishes. We ordered through doordash and picked up the food. The food was very tasty. I will be ordering again soon. Happy to have Ethiopian food as an option in Santa Clarita.

Ethiopia Bites Review Presentation and packaging- A+ Injera- A+ Veggie combo- "Veggie Connoisseur" Green beans fresh and lively Cabbage a stand out Miser was spicy and delicious Micro greens cool idea refreshing Beet salad was off the chain, tender beets and spicy jalapeño Rib eye was juicy and grilled nicely with onions and pepper. The goman was stewed with the rib eye and had a good depth of flavor. The ingredients were selected with care and everything tasted like it was made in someone's home, but with the branding of a fine dining restaurant.

A total hidden gem in Santa Clarita Valley! If you've ever wanted to try Ethiopian food, or have loved it for years, this is the place to be. Located as one of the restaurants in The Hub in Santa Clarita, this is a wonderful place! 100% organic foods cooked by the owner with love. All ingredients are so fresh and perfectly spiced. I've always loved Ethiopian food, but have never found any near me. So excited that this place exists! We purchased the sampler platter for the three of us to share, and there was plenty left for the next day. So many options to choose from. And the owner Meg is just the sweetest person. You can tell that she is so passionate about her food and what she serves her customers. If you're looking for something new to try, or want to go for some of your favorite authentic Ethiopian dishes, this place is a must! I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

We're honestly so happy we found this spot. Normally, we have to drive all the way from Santa Clarita to Little Ethiopia whenever we're craving Ethiopian food, so having something this good closer to home is a game changer. This was our first time trying it, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and clearly made with care. You can tell right away that the food is high quality, even the injera was fresh-made the same day, which made a huge difference. The owner is incredibly kind and you can feel how passionate she is about what she does. That kind of energy really comes through in the food. We also love that everything is organic, it just adds another level of trust and appreciation. If anything, we just wished the portions were a little bigger, purely because we were enjoying it so much and didn't want it to end. We'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and we're definitely coming back!

S/O and I shared the vegan combo and dereq tibs, a pitcher of their infused water, an Ethiopian cream coffee, and a glass of palm tree (their arnold palmer). The food was fantastic. I loved every bite we had, especially the gomen (braised greens), cabbage and carrot, and the kik alicha. The dereq tibs, though? That was AMAZING. Tender beef, sweet stewed onion, the perfect amount of spice from the serranos. I loved that the dish is accompanied by senafich (a spicy, horseradish-y mustard) and mitmita (a DELICIOUS chili powder that I want to put on everything lol). The beverages were delicious, I love an arnold palmer and this one is probably the best i've ever had with their spiced tea. Their coffee was decadent and strong and perfectly balanced. And the banana split! I am not usually one for dessert but I knew I needed to try this and I'm SO glad I did. A symphony of textures and complex flavors. We may or may not have used our fingers to get the last bits from the dish. The place itself is like a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of the strip mall outside. Vibey music, beautiful furniture and decor, and all attention paid to the little details. Can't wait for them to reopen so we can come back!! Parking - strip mall was crowded, but street parking wasn't too bad to find.

It has American, Mexican and Ethiopian food, so there is something for everyone :) I started with the Sambusa with beef and really liked it! The waitress recommended us to eat it with salsa from their salsa bar and it paired perfectly. It was a little oily but great flavor regardless! I also got the Awaze tips with Injera and beef. The injera was a spongey tortilla/bread like carb that was covered with a beef/veggies mixture. We were able to adjust the spice level on this since the waitress warned us the dishes were very spicy but to be honest, it wasn't spicy at all and I would like to try the other dishes with spice next time. The Awaze tips dish was really good and pretty big portion. Excellent service and food! I would love to come back to try more.

Meals are rather affordable here and come in big portions, so you'll leave filling full. The pad thai tasted decent yet a little different from what I had at other restaurants. It was missing the amount of savoriness I was familiar with. However, it did have the sweetness that I've usually tried in pad thai from other restaurants. The soy meat did have a similar texture to that of traditional chicken, but it left an aftertaste that I didn't really like. The soy chicken had the same mostly sweet flavor as the noodles. It was even better putting lime on the noodles, and the vegetables helped in adding good flavor. As an appetizer, the fried tofu tasted good with the sweet and sour sauce. I was able to finish the whole appetizer before I got my noodles. The ambience was quiet as I was the first customer, but it gradually got louder as more people arrived. There was a mosquito that bit me, so that wasn't fun. Looking back, it's ironic that this happened inside a vegan restaurant. That aside, I was regularly checked in on by the staff and had my water refilled. Service is definitely a strength here, and it was nice seeing locals talk with the staff.

I went on a whole food vegan diet for 40 days as part of a cleanse and health journey. So my fiancé and I decided to come out here before a concert one night. He's been vegan for years and years, but I've never had that diet so it was hard for us to go out. We found this place and knew we had to go. We arrived about an hour before close, got sat immediately, and had a super sweet server (I wish I remembered her name). But I didn't realize that the menu items were all affirmations. As someone who has had a super tough year physically and emotionally, I've been really getting into meditation and manifesting and overall good vibes. So I thought going there and seeing that menu was absolutely a sign. It's fully vegan and whole food. And VAST. There was so much to choose from. I asked opinions on what to get. I think I ended up getting I Am Restored for my drink. Delish. Not sweet but very good. And then my partner and I got the I Am Glorious and the I Am Next Level to share. Everything was SO good. House made. Great flavor. And great presentation. My only wish was that is was more affordable (why does healthy yummy food have to be so expensive?!). We'd be going more often and we don't live close by. But it's worth it. Excited for our next trip back there! Side note - we also ordered delivery from them as well. The I Am Caring nachos (did notttt travel well.. get them in person). And the I Am Giving Margherita pizza. That was yummy. Recommend for vegans and non vegans alike!

There were a few moments when I found myself wondering when the waiter would come back to my table. Overall, a great Dine LA value with delicious, healthy food and some creative drink options.
