If you want a true, no-frills, old-school Florida breakfast done right, Peter Pan Diner is an absolute gem. This is the kind of place that feels like it's been getting it right for decades--and hasn't felt the need to change a thing. Classic diner energy, friendly faces, and the kind of menu where everything you want is exactly where it should be. Breakfast came out fast--and not rushed, just efficient. Eggs cooked perfectly, everything hot, fresh, and exactly what you're hoping for when you sit down craving a real diner breakfast. No gimmicks, no overthinking--just consistently good food. And the value? Hard to beat. You walk out feeling like you got more than you paid for, which is getting rare these days. Service was spot-on--quick, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The kind of place where they keep your coffee filled without you even noticing. This isn't trendy--it's better than that. It's reliable, affordable, classic Florida done right. -- proof that simple, is done well

7/19/26-Peter Pan Diner after Church! Easily the most delicious Rare Roast Beef Sandwich I've ever had in my life! Tender and full of flavor! Order this huge sandwich, you will love it! We love the Peter Pan Diner and of course Candice! She is amazing! Always smiling, remembers all her loyal customers favorites and greets everyone like family! One of the many reasons I love Peter Pan Diner!

Good old Peter Pan. I have a long history with this place but hadn't been in years. It is the same inside, could use a little sprucing up but we had a large group for breakfast and it was very good. The service was pleasant, the food was hot and tasted good and everything came out when it should. I should go more often.

Excellent service again!! Food is fresh and served quickly! The Chicken Souvlaki was tender, seasoned and served with a Greek salad. SO YUMMY!

Peter Pan Diner is a staple of Oakland Park. Anyone who lives in Broward knows about Peter Pan Dinner and probably has some kind of memory there. Some 10+ years ago, I once broke up with an ex via phone in the Peter Pan parking lot, and then went inside to have the best brunch with two girl friends. I didn't catch our server's name this time, but she was very pleasant, friendly, and service was good for how packed the place was. We came in from running a 5K around the same time as the Sunday church rush, so it was pretty busy and our server got a large church party of senior citizens shortly after we were sat. When she initially dropped off our drinks, she forgot my coffee and disappeared for a while to tend to other tables, but the next time I saw her, she had already realized her mistake and was actively bringing my coffee. A sign of a service professional! Forgetting things happens, but it's best when you can realize it before your patron tells you so. It was a small thing, but makes a big difference for me. Everyone can feel like they're at home at Peter Pan. It's super LGBTQ+ friendly, and just a down to earth, no-frills, comforting diner.

Pretty standard run of the mill diner breakfast food, nothing really stood out to me except for the amazing service from Jessica. She was extremely kind and personable! We'll come back and check out the lunch/dinner and desserts next time.

Finally made it over to the iconic Peter Pan Diner. A 40+yr old restaurant, family owned and operated. No surprise then to be warmly greeted by the son and cashed out by the dad. Staff was great. Food, pretty darn good. They even accommodated my request to have the lox mixed in with the eggs. Large restaurant, but even so, expect a wait on the weekends.

The Early Bird Special also included a bowl of Greek Lemon Soup which was tasty.

GREAT service, first of all. We are a church choir of about 30 members, so we booked a big table in advance, and they took GREAT care of us! Classic diner fare, with a lot of Greek and Italian touches. My meatloaf and sides were hearty, with plenty to take home for another meal. They have a dandy looking breakfast menu, so I can't wait to go back! Good desserts, too!!!

I stopped by Peter Pan Diner for lunch. There were a few people dining inside as I was quickly seated after greeting the hostess. A pleasant male server, I didn't get his name, approached the table and took my drink order. Then a couple of minutes later, I placed an order for a bowl of split pea soup and chicken pot pie. The first to arrive was the split pea soup, which was nice and hot with a smooth texture. Though I prefer my soups to be filled with chunky pieces of meat and veggies, it was still tasty. Next came the chicken pot pie. Once I broke through that flaky crust, I allowed the steam to escape before carefully taking bites of the filling which consisted of peas & carrots, thin slices of potatoes, and pieces of tender chicken in a creamy sauce. It was hearty and very delicious. Sadly the pot pie couldn't be finished because I was partly full from the soup. Apparently my server took notice of that as well as he brought a carry out container for me to transfer the leftovers in. I would definitely come back to Peter Pan Diner for that pot pie again. It was enjoyable and fulfilling.

I've driven by here hundreds of times and never stopped to eat here. I came with a friend who eats here regularly. They have a large menu with everything you could want, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have daily specials. Like many diners, they have a section of Greek food. I asked the waitress how the moussaka was and she said she's never tried it, however people order it a lot. She did say that several of the cooks are Greek. So, I ordered the moussaka. It was very good, and a generous portion. It came with a Greek salad. The only thing that surprised me was that it was served with a bowl of warm tomato sauce?? My friend and I shared a piece of their cheesecake, which was delicious. The service was great. This is a diner, with a back room bar, in case you want to hang out and drink.

Peter Pan never disappoints and I believethe best diner in Fort Lauderdale. Always good food and great service. The parking was almost full with only 2 parking spaces remaining. A busy Sunday morning crowd inside as well. I had the meatloaf special with mash potatoes, gravy, veggies and chicken rice soup. I recommend Peter Pan and you should give a try.

In all the years I have lived in FL, I have never been to Peter Pan. I am sorry that I missed out! It's a typical diner. I had a turkey melt without the cheese & extra sauerkraut. I know, but I didn't want cheese. The turkey is real off the bone turkey. Service was very good. My friend had the chicken souvlaki and said it was very good too. We will be back.

I sat outside. Idk why I chose outside cause I hate humidity, go figure im in FLORIDA, but either way it was tolerable outside and requested the fan to be turned on. I ordered the breakfast tacos and a creme brûlée coffee. Breakfast tacos are fire. It comes 2 but it fills you. It is messy af cause i kept spilling yolk, guac and the insides everywhere. but nevertheless the flavor was def there to enjoy. Tortilla has a nice bite to it as well. Creme brûlée coffee hit. There's an epidemic of terrible acidic coffee places but this one hit the spot. Tastes like coffee but has the subtle sweetness from the creme brulee. and of course cant forget the sugar top to crack. Service was nice, felt a little 2 faced, but overall she was a nice waitress. Lagged a little. Street parking or in a parking garage. There's a single use restroom that was disgusting when a family member tried to use it. Indoor/Outdoor seating. The line was insanely long, but we got lucky and snagged seats at the bar as soon as a group left. My friends ordered the hash and omelet, and we also shared the dulce de leche pancakes. Everything was delicious. The beautiful waterfront views made the experience even better. As titanium Marriott bonvoy members, we received a breakfast voucher each morning of our stay, which is good for your choice of coffee or orange juice and an entree from a select menu (see pics). I found the select menu to have many great options. I had the "smothered burrito" which was huge and delicious and did not have any beans. The "traditional eggs Benedict" was typical and came with a large portion of their potatoes- yum. The "huevos rancheros" was great too but I wished it had those potatoes. My husband had the "applewood bacon and poached egg avocado toast" twice because it was so good. We ordered two additional eggs sunny to go with it, as that dish only had one poached egg. He also got the "two eggs your way" which comes with choice of protein, potatoes and two slices of sourdough toast w butter (no jam). He ordered bacon egg and cheese taco with that dish to maximize his protein intake. That was tasty. Everything we ate here was a good portion. I saw the regular menu. Dishes are about $16. The pancakes looked awesome- maybe we will get that next time. Pancakes would pair well with the hash- it looks like a huge dish. They have a breakfast cocktail menu. I had the bloody Maria (nothing special but it said house made bloody mix so I wanted to try it), which came with a celery stick. I think next time I'll do the coffee inspired cocktails. Those sound amazing. We ate inside because the wind was crazy like 25mph. We ate outside one day, when the wind wasn't as bad, and found that there are some pesky birds trying to steal food off of server trays. So if you don't want the birds, sit inside. The place gets busy; you can make a reservation. We never had to wait in line long or wait for a table, but I think that's because we're hotel guests. Once sat, we did wait more than 20 min to receive our food. But it's ok. The coffee is good. The restaurant turns into Lona for lunch and dinner. They give you the Lona drink menu for breakfast too if you're more in the mood for a margarita. Bar seating is first come first served. Bathrooms are inside the hotel lobby. There is no parking for the restaurant but you can valet.

No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Even though breakfast itself was lowkey disappointing but the beautiful plants made up for it. I went early and it was very lowkey and relaxing. The place was nearly empty minus a few guests sprinkled here and there. Now onto the food, I had to go with Chef's Special. For me, it was okay. The ingredients were fresh, however, the texture and love came short. I thought the waffle part was too crispy/hard and lost the tenderness of the potatoes. My egg was a bit overdone so it didn't ooze onto the glorious yolk onto all the other components as I'd hoped for. So yeah, the breakfast itself was alright, nothing bad but nothing I'm dying to try again. However, the ambiance was amazing. I would come back for coffee and vibes. Service, was good.
