5/25/26- Exceptional service, consistently delicious food, huge portions, great value and retro diner vibe! What more can you ask for?!?! Oh and Free parking!! One visit and you are warmly welcomed like family!! Always an exceptional customer experience- Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a huge variety of menu options! Definitely something for everyone! In 30 years I have never had a bad meal! Consistency in service and food quality is hard to find in this day and age! A family owned, since 1979, managed and operated-- the hardest working family you'll ever meet! This visit Wendy took great care of me! Friendly, attentive and informative. She's great! I was in the mood for some traditional Greek food, I ordered the Pastichio (a delicious baked pasta, with an incredible béchamel topping) I chose my side as the Greek salad and also ordered a side of Orzo! The Pastichio is as authentic as you will ever have.. The chopped meat has so much delicious flavor and the pasta and béchamel are perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection! Delicious! My entire family has been making Pistichio forever and I can easily say this beats all of them! Including mine and I'm a great cook!! The orzo was also exceptional! So much goodness! Huge portions(I took 3/4 home) and a side Greek Salad filled with feta cheese, olives etc! The affordability and the value is unparalleled! Their desserts are not to be missed! All homemade! I took home one of my favorites- Banana Cream Pie! Unbelievable! Please refer to my photos! I have so many favorites, too many to mention here.. Just go and see for yourself! Trust me- I know you will thank me! Peter Pan Diner is a neighborhood treasure to be appreciated and celebrated! It brings a the community together everyday creating delicious memories!

Excellent service again!! Food is fresh and served quickly! The Chicken Souvlaki was tender, seasoned and served with a Greek salad. SO YUMMY!

Pretty standard run of the mill diner breakfast food, nothing really stood out to me except for the amazing service from Jessica. She was extremely kind and personable! We'll come back and check out the lunch/dinner and desserts next time.

Peter Pan Diner is a staple of Oakland Park. Anyone who lives in Broward knows about Peter Pan Dinner and probably has some kind of memory there. Some 10+ years ago, I once broke up with an ex via phone in the Peter Pan parking lot, and then went inside to have the best brunch with two girl friends. I didn't catch our server's name this time, but she was very pleasant, friendly, and service was good for how packed the place was. We came in from running a 5K around the same time as the Sunday church rush, so it was pretty busy and our server got a large church party of senior citizens shortly after we were sat. When she initially dropped off our drinks, she forgot my coffee and disappeared for a while to tend to other tables, but the next time I saw her, she had already realized her mistake and was actively bringing my coffee. A sign of a service professional! Forgetting things happens, but it's best when you can realize it before your patron tells you so. It was a small thing, but makes a big difference for me. Everyone can feel like they're at home at Peter Pan. It's super LGBTQ+ friendly, and just a down to earth, no-frills, comforting diner.

Finally made it over to the iconic Peter Pan Diner. A 40+yr old restaurant, family owned and operated. No surprise then to be warmly greeted by the son and cashed out by the dad. Staff was great. Food, pretty darn good. They even accommodated my request to have the lox mixed in with the eggs. Large restaurant, but even so, expect a wait on the weekends.

If you want a true, no-frills, old-school Florida breakfast done right, Peter Pan Diner is an absolute gem. This is the kind of place that feels like it's been getting it right for decades--and hasn't felt the need to change a thing. Classic diner energy, friendly faces, and the kind of menu where everything you want is exactly where it should be. Breakfast came out fast--and not rushed, just efficient. Eggs cooked perfectly, everything hot, fresh, and exactly what you're hoping for when you sit down craving a real diner breakfast. No gimmicks, no overthinking--just consistently good food. And the value? Hard to beat. You walk out feeling like you got more than you paid for, which is getting rare these days. Service was spot-on--quick, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The kind of place where they keep your coffee filled without you even noticing. This isn't trendy--it's better than that. It's reliable, affordable, classic Florida done right. -- proof that simple, is done well

The Early Bird Special also included a bowl of Greek Lemon Soup which was tasty.

GREAT service, first of all. We are a church choir of about 30 members, so we booked a big table in advance, and they took GREAT care of us! Classic diner fare, with a lot of Greek and Italian touches. My meatloaf and sides were hearty, with plenty to take home for another meal. They have a dandy looking breakfast menu, so I can't wait to go back! Good desserts, too!!!

I stopped by Peter Pan Diner for lunch. There were a few people dining inside as I was quickly seated after greeting the hostess. A pleasant male server, I didn't get his name, approached the table and took my drink order. Then a couple of minutes later, I placed an order for a bowl of split pea soup and chicken pot pie. The first to arrive was the split pea soup, which was nice and hot with a smooth texture. Though I prefer my soups to be filled with chunky pieces of meat and veggies, it was still tasty. Next came the chicken pot pie. Once I broke through that flaky crust, I allowed the steam to escape before carefully taking bites of the filling which consisted of peas & carrots, thin slices of potatoes, and pieces of tender chicken in a creamy sauce. It was hearty and very delicious. Sadly the pot pie couldn't be finished because I was partly full from the soup. Apparently my server took notice of that as well as he brought a carry out container for me to transfer the leftovers in. I would definitely come back to Peter Pan Diner for that pot pie again. It was enjoyable and fulfilling.

I've driven by here hundreds of times and never stopped to eat here. I came with a friend who eats here regularly. They have a large menu with everything you could want, breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have daily specials. Like many diners, they have a section of Greek food. I asked the waitress how the moussaka was and she said she's never tried it, however people order it a lot. She did say that several of the cooks are Greek. So, I ordered the moussaka. It was very good, and a generous portion. It came with a Greek salad. The only thing that surprised me was that it was served with a bowl of warm tomato sauce?? My friend and I shared a piece of their cheesecake, which was delicious. The service was great. This is a diner, with a back room bar, in case you want to hang out and drink.

Peter Pan never disappoints and I believethe best diner in Fort Lauderdale. Always good food and great service. The parking was almost full with only 2 parking spaces remaining. A busy Sunday morning crowd inside as well. I had the meatloaf special with mash potatoes, gravy, veggies and chicken rice soup. I recommend Peter Pan and you should give a try.

In all the years I have lived in FL, I have never been to Peter Pan. I am sorry that I missed out! It's a typical diner. I had a turkey melt without the cheese & extra sauerkraut. I know, but I didn't want cheese. The turkey is real off the bone turkey. Service was very good. My friend had the chicken souvlaki and said it was very good too. We will be back.

Yay for teamwork Service was OK. The young man that served us kinda didn't follow instructions but because he had help it made it better. I asked to hold my pancakes and all he did was wait like two minutes after bringing the food and brought the pancakes right out I asked for warm syrup Which I understand they cannot do so I asked for hot water and I heat up the syrup myself none of that was done. In fact, I had to ask for syrup a while after the pancakes have been given the purpose of me holding the pancakes, so they remain hot when I'm ready to consume them so I end up taking them home have the portion of eggs were given when you order scramble turkey sausage was great And the corned beef hash looked awesome. I heard no complaints from over there. I haven't been there in a while since before Covid in fact when they were 24 hours they utilize the lounge I know they get business. It's just terrifying to see the restaurant world is not what it wants was pre-Covid. I chunk it up to the lack of quality servers Because the food quality is still green. I love to go in and see the homemade pies cakes and desserts I may be very old because I remember back in the day being hired as a graveyard girl that's wear short shorts with stockings, but I was unable to accept the job because my husband said heck no it didn't stop us from dying in though I took a carrot cake home which is one of his favorites thank goodness it still is I'll have to go back with a bigger appetite so I can try the gyros

Very neighborhood-y diner with fun friendly staffers and solid diner classics. 5 star staff and ambience: I go with a group of friends here very often, usually Monday nights. Every staffer is sweet and welcoming. It really feels like you're eating with some relative (one that you like, not one of the strange ones LOL). 5 star food: they do very solid diner classics mostly. The menu has just about one of everything and there are also daily specials. My personal favorite is always the triple salad platter. A funny side note: our cat goes completely crazy for even a tiny piece of tuna salad from Peter Pan. There's a pic of our cat, oddly enough named Spot, finding a small bit of Peter Pan tuna salad hidden behind a book on shelves.

The sandwiches arrive like legends overstuffed, unapologetic, and bursting with flavor. One bite and you're transported straight to your grandmother's kitchen, where the secret ingredient was always love... and yes, a generous whisper of schmaltz. This is the kind of place where the taste of grandmother's cooking triumphs over pretty furniture every time. Who needs chandeliers when the corned beef sings?
