Great service, we had Brian as a server. He was attentive and checked up on us throughout the meal and made sure everything was going okay. I tried the cowboy and fig burgers and both were great. Usually I don't like goat cheese but in the fig burger it tasted great. Great greeter/hostess. Great food server! Started with drinks in a super comphy booth before 9pm and ordered Wow tasty crispy Mac & Cheese Balls. Definitely try the dip that comes with. Not a crappy ranch dressing. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Super tasty with an award winning slaw on the inside of the sandwich. Cocktails are creative and fun and certainly strong enough. This is going to be the hardest review ever but hopefully they pay attention and fix the issues as I would give the food 8 and service 1. To Eureka's credit they were very well staffed and unfortunately for them the Sunday Night Halloween crowd was very small and this is with The World Series and Football going on at the same time. The place should have been packed and now I know why it was not. We were sated right away and my wife ordered a cool specialty drink I ordered a sampler flight and appetizer. We waited 20 minutes and still no drinks by the time our food came. We asked the server and he said they are trying to find the whiskey for the drink. It was clear the bartender was new as the manager kept jumping back to help, which was fine except she kept pouring beer from the taps which I am sure he could have done while she showed him how to make the drink. We gave up and ordered a old fashion which was awful and not prepared properly. We had to ask to have our water glasses full both times which we pushed to the edge of the table in hopes one of the staff would get the hint. This was our 1st time here in 2 years but have coming since day 1.The server seemed to be rushing us and when he dropped the check while I looked down he removed my flight before I was finished and his service was terrible. The menu is much smaller than it used to be which is disappointing as everything we have ever had here was amazing but I am sure they have nothing to do with that part. Its great you are well staffed and they are free to do jumping jacks with their down time but asking us how things are going or if we would like more water might be a better idea. I have no problem with the staff having fun as this is /was a fun place but the staff can still have fun and provide decent service if I could only they were trained. I could have plugged in the crew from Foot Locker and received better service. So Sad. read more

I have eaten here often and over the years the experience was decent. Food was good and service fine. However - the service and food has really gone downhill. There were three of us and we sat outside with our puppy. The food was served cold and the service was mediocre. We didn't get any utensils and waited while our food continued to get cooler. My wife didn't get a refill of her soda and when she finally did get a refill, she was almost finished with her meal. I don't think I'll spend my money here for a while... read more

Went there on a Tuesday night, and was very disappointed. 1. Service was so slow. Had to wait a long time to get drinks, food, and the bill. 2. Had a variety of appetizers. They were pretty decent especially the mac & cheese balls, but for a small plate, I thought the price was a bit high. 3. Ordered fish tacos. Good, but was a bit on the salty side. 4. Special cocktails are overpriced and small. Not spending another $15 on a small cocktail. There are so many other places that have better food, and wont dent your wallet. Sorry, but I could have had a better meal elsewhere. What turned me off the most was the overpriced small portion cocktails and appetizers. Eureka! Our first visit here wasn't perfect, but it was delightful enough to make us want to come back. Hip, modern decor, great outside seating, interesting menu, killer beer & spirits. Hubby and I both ordered a burger med rare: his was fine, mine was undercooked rare. I didn't notice this till after I'd sent back my cold fries, do didn't want to send back burger too. End of the meal I showed my server (Juan) my uneaten rare burger remnants & he told the manager who immediately comped my meal. THANK YOU! I have years of food service experience, and that is exactly what should happen when the kitchen goofs up on cooking. So many restaurants /servers miss this important detail. Surprisingly good food for a place tucked into a strip mall. Interesting menu. Beer list looked good but there was only one cider choice and it was really sugary. I doordashed from the place today. I ordered classic american cheese burger but subbed for veggie patty. I dont know what that veggie patty was made from but, it was GROSS!! There was NO seasoning in the patty. No mayo, no mustard, just some packets of ketchup. I subbed 3 mac and cheese balls instead of french fries and i had to pay $2.50 MORE! The balls were only @ an inch in diameter. A 16oz. Diet coke was $3.50!!! Overall, ill never order from Eureka! again. read more

Don't come here if you want a veggie burger. Their veggie patties are not like other veggie parties and are made of beets, so if you're okay with that then go right ahead. Alright, I've come here for lunch a few times now... I was contacted by Eureka themselves after my first review and they sent me a $25 gift card to give them another chance. Now I've done that and a review update is in order. The ambiance is awesome... As I've said before, the concept is really cool. Service is, for the most part, very very good. While clearly being very busy today, the bartended made sure to come by our table often to make sure we didn't need anything. The booze selection is spectacular, too... Eureka!'s got about 2 dozen beers on tap and a wide variety of bourbon & rye. Sadly... the food's just so-so. I actually thought their mac & cheese today wasn't up to par... While the appetizer was delicious a year ago at $6, the price has now been raised to $8 and the addition of Fritos to the dish has unfortunately taken it down a big notch. There's no crunch there. It's soggy Fritos in what should've been creamy and rich Mac & Cheese. The Osso Buco Riblets... Oooh, I'm sorry Chef. I see a big empty void in your life as you've clearly never tasted this wonderful Milanese dish whereby the Veal shanks literally fall off the bone full of juicy goodness. Here's a hint: if it even remotely looks dry, it ain't Osso Buco! The Jalapeno Egg Burger I had last time we were here was good and solid, but for the price, I suppose I expect a little more. I think that in the end that's what is really lacking. The ambiance is fabulous, service is great... That builds expectations which unfortunately the food fails to meet. I'm still giving them 4 stars because some part of me thinks I may simply be way too over critical and I still fully intend to come here as they have a full bar, $5 Bloody Mary's on Saturdays and Sundays, and they show all the NFL games. This is my partner and my "date night" and we usually come in for drinks and bites. The drinks ... oh the drinks! I'm glad that the holiday season is around the corner as I'm hoping they bring back their gingerbread old-fashioned!! It was so good we had a double-date here one night and instead of going home after it, we "snuck" back in for another drink (we had a babysitter after all!). During one of our trips, I tried some sort of "smoked" bourbon drink - I was a little worried when the place started smelling like a campfire and my glass came to me full of smoke but the result was AWESOME! It was something different and delicious! We ordered the bruschetta and corndog lollipops which were also delicious. At our last visit we opted for wine and apps. We had the peppers and truffle fries and they were great! Next time we'll probably opt for a meal we were torn between apps and the Fried Chicken Sliders the last time. read more

This place is great! The atmosphere is really chill. The food is great. I love how they tell you about the specials without you having to dig. The drinks are amazing the service is great also. We were here for a long time just talking and relaxing and they never once bothered us or made us feel we were just taking up space. I will definitely be back. After my two star review, someone from Eureka reached out to me and was SO nice over the phone, SO sorry we had experienced bad service, was SO apologetic.... Offered to send us a $50 gift card so we could give it another try..... I thought great, maybe it really was just a one time bad thing and upon trying it again, I will totally leave another review-- hopefully good that time. Wrong. After not receiving the gift card OFFERED to me (I did NOT ask for it)? I reached out to see if there was a problem on my end. They responded saying they sent it out but to send my address again and that they would double check that they had it down right and then send me another one. I never received anything. The person representing them didn't even respond when I asked if the address I had given was the same as what they had. On Yelp, you can see when they've read your messages and they read them and then just didn't respond. Honestly I was hoping that after they reached out to ME that I was going to be able to come on here and give them a better rating. I really never ever give bad reviews. I've been to this restaurant multiple times and recently I've had the greatest experience. I believe my servers name was Nicholas and he allowed me to taste the best beers and recommended only the ones I was looking for. Unfortunately I wasn't too pleased with my beer and he was able to bring me a new one and it was effortlessly. He recommended Mac cheese balls and they were amazing. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome and shown to our table. Our waitress stated that "At Eureka all food is made from scratch ready to order. We are famous for our whiskies and over 40 beers on tap. On weekends our Bloody Mary and Mimosas are only $5.00". We ordered water with lemon. For lunch I went with the Chili Wings and shared an order of the Truffle Cheese Fries. The Chili Wings were heavily sauced with their Reaper Chili Sauce. The texture was a bit fleshy and could stand a little more cooking to crisp up. The sauce is spicy and they only give you a thimble size of blue cheese to dip. Other than that the flavor was good. The fries were just OK and my wife and I both agreed they needed more seasoning as well as more time in the fryer. These issues are easily corrected because items are made ready to order. I just need to speak up. The atmosphere is hip and there is a vibe present in the restaurant. Servers are friendly and attentive to your needs. The price is about right for the area. We felt the fries were a bit overpriced for what we got. It is a good place and we will be back read more
