My friends and I stopped her before the Beyonce Cowboy Carter concert, and I'm so glad we did! I had been resigned to maybe getting some overpriced stadium food at SoFi, but on our way there we googled and found Eureka! We got the last spot in the lot and headed inside, were greeted cheerfully by the hostess and sat at a hightop. Our server Alejandra was incredible, super attentive (but not overly so), knowledgeable about the menu and funny, and even gave us $10 gift cards on our way out because she knew it was our first time there! Luckily it was happy hour (they have HH every day) so we got $8 nachos and their signature fries to share, which was the perfect amount and quite tasty as well. One friend got a happy hour beer (Beachwood) and my other friend and I got two Floor Is Lavas (not happy hour), one made with mezcal and one with tequila. They were well balanced and delish, not to mention much more affordable than SoFi cocktails! I would definitely go back and try other items even if not on happy hour. The restaurant is right on a little regional runway but not noisy at all -- just makes for a cool view of planes landing and taking off. Came in to watch the baseball game and we were glad to see decent sized TVs -5 the bar! We ordered the smash burger, wings and Brussels sprouts. Out of the three items, the wings were the best. The Brussel sprouts were too sweet and the burger had too much sauce on it. If you like a lot of sauce on your foods, you would like it. I went for dinner on Friday night after 6, hoppy hour was over, we waited a few minutes to be seated. Once seated, I had to ask one of the wait staff for service because no one was tending us for at least 10 minutes. We finally ordered, and I must say, the food made up for the lack of service. If it wasn't for the subpar service, I would have given the dinner five stars. The wings were by far my fav, followed by the pulled pork nachos! My neighbor suggested this restaurant. I drive by here frequently and never noticed this restaurant. We came on a Friday night and this place was crowded. We sat in the patio area on a hot summer night. The patio is enclosed with a wall of bushes. The bartender is great at making cocktails. My hurricane martini was delicious. The wings are delicious. I'll skip the nachos next time. There are TV's just about the bar area. Great view of runway of airplanes and helicopter takeoffs and landing. Parking can be tight. I've been wanting to try this spot for years. I've seen people post on social media and I've always wanted to go. It closes at 10pm and we had reservations for 9:15pm. The parking is limited. There is airport parking in the back and it is free for 1 hr. The ambiance was nice and the service was good. The kitchen closed at 9:30 but there was no rush by our server. We were celebrating a birthday. We order the cheeseburger with onion straws, wings with a wet and dry rub, fried pickles, lettuce wraps, fish and chips. Everything was yummy. My fish and chips were kind of cold and the inside of the fish was not completely done. I told our waitress I think her name was Leah and she was super accommodating. Not only did she offer something else instead when I declined she took it off the bill. The manager came out (forgot his name) was very apologetic and gave all 3 of us a $10 coupon to return.
