Went to Paul Martin's for Father's Day. Place was packed. The staff was very considerate, the manager was on the floor making sure guest were happy. Food was delicious, had the artichoke spinach dip and the cheese biscuits for appetizers. Main dish was the filet mignon, with garlic butter. It was ordered as medium well bcus I like medium, however, my experience in my world travels is that chefs notoriously under cook steaks 9/10 times. So what I got was medium rare, it was still good but I even double checked with my server to confirm I ordered medium well. The manager was sent over ( not requested) and I explained to her, everything was great but especially on Father's Day, all us men just want the steaks made the we ordered. She took care of us and we will return again.

Steak tacos. Good. A little salty. The coleslaw mid.

I went for a Saturday afternoon Happy Hour and it was excellent! 2:00-6:00 pm in the bar. The bar has many if nice tables. The deals $18 for an Angus burger, with fries and a cocktail or beer. I had a LA Ale house "hazy" beer, it was fruity, don't know the name but was extremely refreshing. Also had steak tacos and flatbread. Those were also very good. The tacos maybe slightly salty but still good. I'll return.

Went for lunch and had a great experience. The portobello mushroom sandwich was fresh and flavorful with thick slices of mushroom. The salad was light and refreshing, which paired perfectly with the meal. The service was outstanding -- our server was attentive, friendly, and had a great memory throughout our visit.

Just one of them days! Had to grab something amazing! Always spectacular, so we flipped a coin and tried something new!

I ate here nearly 3 years ago and vowed never to return. However, our in-laws had a birthday celebration here, so we came to celebrate with them and others. I was pleasant surprised that the food was better than the last visit. They have a new menu and I enjoyed it. I ordered the Steelhead Salmon sandwich and it was good. I would have preferred a condiment that would add a little more flavor. All in all, me and my wife were both pleased. She had the house salad and a shrimp appetizer. The Shrimp were fried well, but have used a little seasoning and her salad was freshly made.

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat and really enjoyed the general ambiance. Inside of the restaurant is decorated very nicely with exposed beams and warm earthy tones and it really set the mood for a nice bite to eat. We were greeted when we walked in and sat down immediately , our Server Isabelle was really nice and was attentive without disrupting the flow of our conversation. We ordered from their express lunch menu , The Buttermilk Fries Chicken and it was a really delicious and a good amount of food. No delay is bringing us the check Will be back again and highly recommend.

Excellent service, with excellent food.... As usual. The server did forget our water we ordered a couple of times.... But overall it was good. The ambiance is relaxing and comfortable. The lighting is good and makes for a good place to visit with good conversation and enjoy good food. Highly recommend.

First time at this resto. We were a large party having a celebratory lunch. The food was quite delicious and more tasty than I expected. Since we were a large party, we had to order off a set menu of choice of protein (beef, chicken or fish) and a vegetarian option. It was a set 3-course meal prefaced by flatbread, shrimp cocktail and cheddar biscuits. My husband I opted for: House salad. It was fine. It was a salad. Caesar Salad. It was fine. It tasted like they used pre-made dressing. Thankfully, they were not heavy handed. Sometimes salads are served drowned in dressing. Blackened ribeye with garlic shrimp. This was quite delicious. The ribeye grilled to medium-rare and the garlic shrimp perfectly cooked. I thought I would not like the sauce, but it definitely added to the dish. Brick chicken was prepared well. The chicken was moist, juicy and definitely not dry. This is a good option for the folks who always order chicken! Fruit bowl. A light option for dessert. Butter cake. It was fine. Personally, I wish the edges were crispier. My only real "complaint " was about the service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, their timing and coordination could've been better. There was a lot of downtime in between courses. They also didn't take away used plates until I asked them to after they served the next course. Perhaps they were busy or perhaps they were still in training but this aspect of their service for a large group can be improved. A parking structure is nearby. Try it! Enjoy!

I stayed in a hotel right behind the restaurant. I winded up having lunch with a friend. While she loves the drinks, I don't drink alcohol so I enjoyed the iced tea. Now we had the salt and pepper shrimp. Which I enjoyed very much. The e service was rather quick, efficient and friendly. Wonderful ambiance as many people who work in the neighborhood come from light bites and drinks. There are parking spaces available. I can let you in a secret. The personal at the parking structure leaves after 3PM so parking is free after that time. However, the restaurant can validate your parking for you. It's not too far from Manhattan Beach either. Overall I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Weekend happy hour is so clutch and Paul Martin's never misses! Great cocktails & the food is always so tasty (especially the bbq pork ribs) Happy hour dishes are shareable. The deviled eggs, queso, and smash burger were table favorites. Our server Kenneth was a pleasure and very attentive. Plenty of seating in the bar area also. Honestly no complaints (which is why I keep going back.)

DineLA dessert: cheesecake and chocolate cake

DineLA July/August 2025 $45 per person for dinner Starter: -Seasonal house salad: Pretty basic with 2 sloppy slices of avocado. The salad dressing was a lemon vinaigrette and tasty -Seasonal soup: Minestrone ... my husband said it kinda tasted canned lol Main course: -Shrimp linguine: Creamy, very seafoody, shrimp was a bit hard/overcooked -Braised short rib: Delicious, tender, highly recommend this one Dessert: -Cheesecake: Ok, pretty standard -Chocolate cake: No and no. Weird aftertaste. They have a dog friendly patio! It has heaters. Was very nice. Make reservation on open table Free parking in the lot behind. No need to valet to save a couple bucks. Follow the signs. The food is pretty traditional/old fashioned and was a bit sloppily plated. Service was ok. For the price, it was 3 stars. I was a bit sad because it was very empty for a Friday night. For those who have Amex plat, check your offers because I had one.

But no worries, we love leftovers! Food is always so creative and wonderful.at Tin Roof. Although we no longer live in Manhattan, still one if our favorite restaurants. Food and service are stellar! We started with cocktails, and of course prepared by our favorite bartender / cocktail specialist extraordinaire, Clark. Off Your Head (Bloody Mary) and Ophella's White Sangria. Both were very tasty! Tin Roof has an excellent cocktail program as does their Simmzy's locations. We started out with Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a hit with the whole table. Tin Roof definitely has the best around, flavorful with a nice crunch, never soggy! We all ordered a variery of starters for our first course. Several had Ceasar Salads. Several had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. One had the Bloddy Mary Deviled Eggs, and another had the Fig; Pistashio, and Cottage Cheese Toast. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were full before our next courses arrived! Our server was Malcolm. He was very attentive even though it was an extremely busy afternoon since it was Father's Day. He was very helpful explaining some of the options only offered on today's menu. They offered a Bistro Burger (five out of six of us ordered!) and I wanted to know how different this burger was from their Simmzy's Burger (my personal favorite). He was spot on, explained it was smokey in flavor and quite different with the pretzel bun. It was so.good, served with fries (best shoestring fries!), onion rings, and piled so high you had to use a fork and knife to eat it! We left beyond full! Definitely we will be back soon!

I simply ADORE a private airport lounge/restaurant! Eureka was wonderful! The first person "greeting" us didn't seem too thrilled to be there, but I was excited enough for the both of us. No matter, as soon as we were seated, a nice guy came over and introduced himself and gleefully agreed with my excitement for the runway location. David (Z) asked if he could get any drinks started while we looked at the menu and made himself available for any questions, but otherwise encouraged us to relax and enjoy the view. We decided to each get a burger, but I was torn. There was a Wagyu Umami Melt Burger as a featured plate of the month, but the Fresno Fig, a burger w/fig marmalade, creamy goat cheese, bacon, red onion & arugula sure sounded tasty. David said the Fresno Fig was a personal favorite, but the monthly specials are limited burger combos. I went with the Umami. It was SO GOOD! The mushroom and red onions were so tender the provolone slightly melted and the Wagyu was tender. I wish the meat would've had some seasoning added, but I've noticed most places don't season the beef. The bun was a soft, yummy brioche. The fries were REALLY GOOD! Perfectly crispy outside, but a fluffy potato center. Served in a metal cup on the side keeps the fries nice and warm. The view was what I was excited for and I was very happy with my seat next to the window facing the runway. One Cessna was practicing take offs/landings and then a PJ showed up to whisk some VIP away. *sigh* Maybe someday I'll get to see the view of Eureka from that PJ.... Cheers! "CC"
