A neat environment! Christina was a good server. We ordered 2 glasses of Mantanzas Creek Souvignon Blanc ($26.50). It was a generous, well chilled 6 oz. pour. We decide to order from the appetizer side of the menu. Boneless Wings were not hot nor well sauced. We were allowed to order 2 sauces--we tried BBQ and a Chili Orange. We really saw little difference until we order some extra sauce... neither one was distinctive. Next we had the Sticky Pork Belly Bites ($16.25). They had a nice flavor and good texture... again these were not hot when they came to the table. Had they been hot they would have been much better. We next ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($16.75) Again, they weren't hot. Are you beginning to see something a pattern here? Like someone in the kitchen was letting food sit too long in the window. The chicken had a nice flavor but some of the lettuce leave were wilted. There was a non-descript sauce for spreading over the lettuce, but they didn't give you a spoon to put it over the leaf. Lastly, we tried Bourbon cake which did come warmed. It was the best part of the meal. Our server did see we left most of the food because it was really cold and asked if everything was okay. We told here the food was just okay but would have been a lot better if the food had been served fresh-from-the-kitchen HOT. Christina apologized and came back a few minutes later and told us she comped the Chicken Wings and the dessert and asked us to please come back and try them again. Found this place while visiting downtown Vegas, there is nothing better than late night happy hour! Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Great vibe, low lights, cool music and lots of laughter. They are known for their burgers but the apps were pretty darn good too. We ordered the brussel sprouts in a sweet chili sauce (so good!!) and the fried mac n cheese balls. The balls came with a white sauce but marinara sauce would be ideal. Drinks included the wild orchid made with vodka, wine and beer on tap. It was really good with a sweet and spicy rimmed glass. My fiancé and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary and they made it feel so special. Between the upbeat front desk to our AMAZING waitress Lex, we had such a great time. When the food was delivered I asked the server for some mayonnaise for my burger and my friend asked for some salt/pepper & malt vinegar. We both sat and waited and waited and waited........unable to get the attention of any of the servers. No one even came by our table to check to see if everything was ok, to refill our drinks etc. We were completely ignored. The restaurant had other customers, but not to the point that they were overly busy. This was mid lunch service time. I ended eating the cheese and mushrooms off my burger and a few French fries. My friend, just ate French fries. By the time we were able to flag down our original server, everything was cold and we just wanted our bill. We told her what happened. She was unamused, didn't care, didn't say anything, took our money and walked away. I've spent many years in the customer service industry. This behavior was unacceptable. We took advantage of the Hoppy Hour specials after night and got Mac and cheese bites, chips and guac, and one of the beer specials. I asked our waitress for a suggestion on the mocktail and she recommended the one that was a little spicy - I want to say it had Agua Fresca and Watermelon in it. I wish I could remember exactly what it was called because it was delicious and totally worth the $6. Fried pickles were yummy but my burger was a tad disappointing. While I did ask for it to be well-done, as that is my preference, it needed more sauce on the burger. Waitress was very nice but kinda disappeared when we needed our bill. I give my mocktail 5 stars and the rest of the food and my experience was more of a 3.3. Our friends invited us to meet downtown to a unique corner restaurant on Fremont and 6th. Who knew the hottest trend would be $20 burgers? What's next, $3 slices of pizza, $10 6-packs, $4 for gas? Oh wait... It's right across from the El Cortez Casino. Down the road from Container Park and a block from the start of the congested Fremont Street Experience. They have a hip, inside/outside, laidback sports bar/ handcrafted vibe. Sweet potato fries were great, crisp and tender. Bone marrow was mixed into the burger. Don't know if it's worth the tariff, but it tasted beefier and great. Chicken tenders were surprisingly moist, but plain Jane. Jalapeño Egg burger tasted great, not too spicy but rich and hearty. The brioche style buns held up well, although the burgers didn't have traditional garnishes I like: tomato, onion or pickles that add that sloppy moisture. Fries were hot, but average. I asked to sub a salad instead of fries and it was stellar! Dessert was a very well made bourbon/pecan/butter barrel cake with ice cream. Simple but really delicious caramel, toasted pecans, and warm decadent moist cake. Service was friendly, attentive and quick! Food runners dropped food and drinks and the place was buzzing. After the hottest team in hockey LV Golden Knights advanced to SC playoffs, a live guitarist started with 70's covers.
