I bring up that brake issue because it eventually became a pattern of dropping the ball, and repeated issues 1. My car had to be towed because basic logic well known issue for GMC/Chevy 6.2 liter V8 engines have a lifter issue which requires engine replacement. The car wasn't in bad shape as you say. Cadillac dealership said I should have it towed due to the knocking sound. My car has always been kept immaculate. Yes you quoted a fair price, it was Lambs in Lakeway that was ridiculous and most people know they are. The engine took long because they sent the wrong engine and in regards to my finances it wasn't I couldn't pay . I was at the mercy of you and I was nothing but polite every single interaction with you. Your dropped the ball so many times and you actually asked me for advance payment at one point because you needed to pay your taxes . I didn't want to pay you UPFRONT Frank. You fix then pay, that's most every way it's done . You didn't have the money to cover costs which is a concern regarding running a business. I had also just spent money on another car repair and boat repairs . The car sat as I decided what I wanted to do. As far as stating you could have charged me storage you never once mentioned that and I have every phone call that proves that. Pretty shady of you to pull that out on your reply here. Again not on single time did you ever mention storage fees. So please don't act as if it was some favor you did. The car went in for an engine replacement. As you confirmed the day you put the engine in to test drive you call me telling me I need steering column replacement. Yes I have you on recording Frank stating that indeed the lift and big tires were the culprit. The steering was completely fine and it had not been driven once per you as we waited for the engine issue and replacement to be resolved. You now understand why I recorded you. You can't remember what you told me. I didn't struggle to pay you. I had a boat in repair and another car a Range Rover in repair. I communicated to you very professionally. By the way let's remember you had me pay up front on everything. It was the engine that was ordered that was delayed. 2. Regarding the transmission line. Let the public see this post. I pick up my car from Frank and I make it about a quarter to half a mile or so down road and what becomes the problem is the transmission line. Frank I have that call to you recorded as well and your claim that I accelerated or false and blew the line is total BS. It had nothing to do with big tires. I'm saving all my facts, statements from GM certified techs , and video of your guy coming over to "fix" it. Within a day or 2 it went out again and I made you tow it for free. It was your guy that you sent and had him do what he did and sent me on my way and that all was fine only to have it sent back to you. By the way on our recorded call you tried to lead me to believe with certainty it was one thing when in fact you were wrong and called me with another reason. Again grateful I recorded both those conversations. The reputable mechanics I discussed were my brothers out of Houston. My brother owns a professional garage and luxury and collector car biz for 22 years. The other reputable people was a connection I had out of A Cadillac dealer in Dallas. I mentioned this to you and so logically my car stayed locally with you. 3. The whole issue about you spending 200 for the detail I will just say to anyone reading this look at the pics of my Escalade left in his care. Never should have happened Frank. By the way I took a time stamp video of my car before it went back to you. I didn't spill the oil. That's a regular engine oil. Why would I need engine oil to leave in my backseat after you just repaired and did an engine replacement. Again shady of you to blame that on me. And by the way I had to waste 3 hours of my work day sitting there waiting on a detail. Completely unprofessional. 4. I asked you you fix my windshield wiper motor while you had it. You never did. I kept asking you very time you had the car and I have your texts alone that show you forgot several times. same thing Frank regarding the transmission thermostat. I asked you several times, you came out to fix my running board and forgot to get the transmission thermostat and windshield motor. Again pretty crazy you fixed my transmission yet our texts show you dropping the ball on the thermostat. I have lost count on the amount of texts I have that show you never show up on time. I'm done with my response. I'll update this post after claims court.

I searched and searched for a mobile mechanic, read through tons of reviews. Mobile Auto Clinic was highly reviewed, so I reached out to them for service. I was really excited when they could show up the day that I got ahold of them. GGreat service! Looking at the check engine code, they determined that it was something wrong with my evap system. They replaced a part in my evap system, I am not mechanic, so can't remember what part that was on their first visit, but the cost was around $140. They assured me that the problem was fixed. Well, it wasn't fixed. My check engine light came back on. I got a hold of them and they decided to replace Fuel Evaporative Canister for $488.21. They told me that all should be good to go. We'll, it wasn't. My check engine light came back on. There were a few other visits trying to determine what was going on. In those visits, one of there mechanics told me to put Vaseline on my gas cap- said that maybe it was a seal issue with my gas tank. Tried that, check engine light came back on. There were a couple of other visit fees, I even drove from SW Austin to their shop to have my truck smoked, they said that they could only do it at the shop. They didn't find any issues in the smoke test, but I do have another invoice for 555.77 for Replace Canister Purge Valve and Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor. Again they said that problem should be fixed. Again, check engine light came back on. Next thing they did was Replace Purge Line Going to Evap Solenoid for $499.35. Again, problem fixed. Nope check engine light came back on. They came back out a couple more times- replaced some seals or something. Totally fixed this time. Nope, nope, nope. Check engine light came back on. I texted the mechanic, Ben Barchuh, to let him know that light was back on. He said that he talked to some gmc mechanics or something, and that they said that we should just replace the rest of the evap system. I told Ben that I was nervous about that cost because I am really financially strapped right now. I asked for a quote for the rest of the system before we did the work. He said that he would get it over to me, but, in the meantime, I could just clear the check engine light myself. I have no idea how to do that! We'll, it has been weeks without hearing back from Ben even though I have sent him multiple texts. I contacted the shop to let them know that Ben hadn't gotten back with me. They said that they would have him touch base with me. Still nothing weeks later. I have now been trying to get ahold of the shop, and they have stopped responding to me. Not good business. It is now the end of May 2026 and my check engine light is still on. More than a year working with them and still not fixed. I have been patient, nice, easy to work with, understanding. I've tipped the mechanics a few times on top of labor and parts costs. I'm not sure what I did to them to have them completely ghost me. Apparently, when they can't fix something and you tell them that you are broke, you are a worthless customer to them. Really makes me feel like garbage. So it seems I'm not a good enough customer for them. I really was trusting them to fix the issue- I thought that they were experts. I guess not. When they can't fix something, they completely disappear. It's unfortunate because I really liked everyone that I worked with there. I had no problem giving them the chance to fix my vehicle because they seemed so honest and kind. Stupid me. Like I said at the beginning of this review, I chose Mobile Auto Clinic because they had great reviews. It seems like many have had great experiences with them. I thought that I was having a great experience with them until they ghosted me. Very disappointing. I know that I am just one person, but maybe folks will read this to help them decide whether or not to do business with Mobile Auto Clinic. At the end, it's your decision, but this has been my experience with them. I was hoping to be a long-term customer with them, but that has been blown up. They are very honest about what is or is not needed (spoiler: something your other mechanic told you might not be necessary yet or needed at all). Example: my other place told me that I needed to get rotors replaced (over $1000). This place told me that (1) I could wait until my next oil change in 6000 miles, (2) that they have a machine to resurface rotors instead of replacing them entirely, (3) that it would only cost me about one-third what the other place quoted. They are highly knowledgeable and they are also really good at finding deals. I referred a friend here who needed a part replacing and they called up different car yards to find the part to save her money (of course you can always get the more expensive versions of things too if you want). My friend just really appreciated that they were trying to help her save money. So yeah five out of five. I drive an hour out of my way just to come to these guys here.

Once jumped, it was good for the rest of the day. I would have thought bad battery but the battery was six month's old and had been working perfectly until a week prior. So, I get it started and go see the nice guys at my neighborhood AutoZone (University, in RR). They kindly ran their diagnostic module on my car and it pronounced the battery good and that my charging current failed. They pronounced it 'bad alternator' and I accepted their diagnosis and began looking for a mobile mechanic to replace the alternator. Anyway, after numerous nebulous texts to a litany of mobile mechanics and unable to nail one down on either time/price or both, I contacted Tony at MnM. I dropped the car off and within an hour he called me and said my alternator's fine but your battery's cracked. So, picked up the battery and swapped it out at Costco and took the new one back to MnM and shortly they had me up and running. Paid them a pittance for the diagnostic and battery R&R and went on my way. The headline here is; Honest Mechanic found in Georgetown!. They're my guys now.

Super friendly owners and operators who are very good at communicating, showing you and stepping you through understanding what is going on with your vehicle and how they intend to fix it. They are dead set on having a pleased and satisfied customer in the end! We have a Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter passenger van which is not easy to find someone who is knowledgeable with these vehicles. These guys are! Every forum on these vans talks about how virtually impossible it is to fix water leaking that occurs through the rear roof top air conditioning unit and lets you know you pretty much just need to learn to live with it (even the dealerships can't fix it). Adam and Dave were not only able to stop it from leaking in from outside every time it rained but to also stop the condensation buildup on the inside of the unit to stop leaking down on people. It took them two different attempts to solve the condensation problem but they were determined to relieve our family of this problem. Upon having to take it back the second time, not only did they not charge us a dime that second time, but they also covered the cost of having the interior roof scrubbed and cleaned of the disgusting huge water ring that had formed around the a/c unit as a result of months of leaking. Thank you Eurocharged ATX! Dave and Adam, I cannot thank you enough and my six little dry passengers and their friends thank you too! You guys ROCK!! read more

I should have listen to Adam and David of Eurocharge ATX... Be most inform NOTTO USE the "Elite Techkey Solution", a mobile service to fix your electronic ignition system (EIS) module or have your electronic key fob be made or replace. If you think "Elite Teckkey Solution" is a cheaper, fast, and efficient alternative to dealer, you are completely mistaken and completely wrong. The lack of experience and lack of knowledge by Michael Grobowsky (owner) with working on my Mercedes Benz C320 W203 was a proven disaster to say the least.The process of replacing the EIS module on my Mercedes Benz by Michael which ended-up causing more problem than what he claims he can do. His mobile electronic equipment or services is highly questionable, his in-experience in dealing with vehicles with an EIS is NOT impressive, and will leave the electronic system of the vehicle in a worst condition than before. He may not let you pay, but he knows he left you with more repair expenses than you can ever imagine. I hope Michael (owner) knows he is still liable and responsible for all the damages he has caused or done to the vehicles. Stay away from "Elite Techkey Solution", Michael Grobowsky (owner). read more

Dave, the shop owner, used to work on my cars when he lived in Northern California. It was a big loss to many of the the local Mercedes enthusiasts and me when he moved to Texas a few years ago. Last year I purchased a 2008 Mercedes S65 AMG with 165,000 miles on eBay and I knew the vehicle would need a lot of work to make it run reliably for a long period of time. Dave was the perfect mechanic for the job. He knows a ton about Mercedes and AMG, is detail oriented, has deep experience with complex jobs, and has very reasonably prices. I had the seller ship the vehicle directly to Dave in Austin and he did a ton of work- tires, brakes, struts, hydraulic suspension, fuel pump, steering pump, electronic work, and many more things. After he completed everything he shipped the car to me in San Francisco. It has run perfect for the last year and I have put 20,000 miles on it. At some point it is going to need a significant amount of work and I will be shipping it back to Austin, TX for Dave to do his magic again because I have not been able to find a mechanic who does as good of work in Northern California. read more

The guys at Eurochargeatx did an amazing job on my 2012 Sprinter van. They gave me a quote and timeline and met it. I was shocked at the cost of repairs so I got other quotes and there's was the best. My wife and I were traveling cross country when the motor seized up on the interstate in Austin TX. I needEd the motor replaced and I wanted the transmission gone through at the same time. They used all Genuine MB parts where as the others we're not and going to charge more. I ask if they would fix a couple minor annoyances on the van also and they did. I believe they fixed it as it was there own. They did a very professional job and fixed all of the little things and didn't charge any extra . I have put another 10,000 miles on the van and problem free. I have known Dave and Adam over the last past 3 years in which they have performed miracles on my 2013 S63 AMG. Not once have I had to worry about whether or not these fine gentlemen could perform the work at hand, or charge more than the work required. I have the upmost confidence and pride in the workmanship that Eurocharged ATX Round Rock provides. I have served our Great Nation in the United States Army over the last 24 years and never experienced a automotive dealer or maintenance shop that caters and goes above and beyond for their customers. Thanks so much to the office staff there, the mechanic (Josh) who repaired my ignition switch & the broken window, and John (owner) for incredible service! Highly recommend these guys if you have a Hyundai or foreign car. Round Rock Hyundai would have taken my car in "by appointment" only (even after an undrivable theft). Um, no.

I have taken my car here twice for brake pad…read morereplacements and both times they were transparent about what services I needed, and they will take the time to fully explain to you why they recommend the services that they do. Recently I came in to replace the rear brake pads because my Mini Cooper gave an automatic warning to replace them based on mileage. I brought it to Auto 7 Tech; rather than simply replacing the pads they inspected it and actually told me that the pad thickness was fine and that I didn't need to replace them yet - the prioritized being honest over getting me to pay for potentially unnecessary service. However when I went to pick my car up, they let me know that they had inspected more closely and found that the inner surface on the left pad was indeed worn down. I appreciate this attention to detail and transparency. I also asked them if I needed to replace the rotors, and they told me that they had driven the car around and concluded that the rotors didn't need replacement (in contrast two other shops insisted on bundling the pad replacement and the rotor replacement). In my experience Auto 7 also gives very fair pricing compared to other shops. At Auto7 they will inspect your car carefully and thoroughly before recommending service, and they will not try to upsell you or take advantage of you.
