    Fun Alcohol bottle aisle

A fun little shop to venture in for snacks, food, items not commonly found. The haul: Poppyseed bread rings: a nice alternative snack if you don't want to go for salty pretzels; it has a subtle/light sweetness Condensed milk ice cream: there was caramel in the center so it tasted very caramely and delicious. Rosehip, hibiscus, herb tea: personally didn't like because it looked and tasted like cough medicine to me. They also have things that aren't European that are cat cocoons, pants, etc. just fun to come in and try a bunch of stuff.

An Eastern European shop without any Jaffa cakes or the Polish knock-off "Delicje"? You're joking, right? The shop has a little bit of everything, but it's not filled to the brim with goods. Maybe because I went there a few days before the Holidays? Also, selling a box of Ptasie Mleczko (Bird's Milk) - light, fluffy marshmallows covered in a thin layer of chocolate - for $7 is *way* overpriced. The same product, in five times more flavors, can be found for about $5 in any Russian grocery stores in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of SF. Nothing else stood out price-wise, but I was there primarily to stock up on Polish sweets and was a bit bummed by the meager selection.

I've known about this store for decades, but this is the first time I went in. I was looking for some specific Italians cookies. They didn't have the cookies I was looking for, but I did pick up a box of Russian cookies. I have to say those Russian cookies are some of the best cookies I have eaten, lol (picture attached). If you've never been to Euromix, you have to go. Browse around, guaranteed, you won't come out empty handed. They even sell Russian butter. That will be the next item I pick up

The perogi (ricotta and sauerkraut) and OK Polish beer, compliments of Euromix and minimal elbow grease.

I had prepared red envelopes to express appreciation for your hardworking staff, reflecting our long-standing business relationship. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see that your company had arranged a small buffet for employees. The warehouse staff were polite and exchanged festive greetings, creating a positive atmosphere. This reflected well on management and is worth acknowledging. However, an incident that followed severely disrupted what had been a pleasant morning. I must clearly identify that the staff member involved is the senior female employee from the back department responsible for vegetables senior lady ! This day she was standing their cut pork for customer and employee! she refused to provide proper portions to my employee, who was waiting in line appropriately. Instead, she directed her to take leftover scraps filled with excessive bone fragments. When I calmly asked for clarification, this staff member responded with a cold, impatient, and hostile attitude, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect. My employee feels like homeless need get her food ! As long-term customers and fellow business owners who consistently support your company, we expect fairness and respect, particularly during a festive occasion meant to reflect goodwill. As business operators ourselves, we understand that management culture directly affects reputation. What we witnessed today raises serious concerns regarding internal service standards and supervision. I respectfully request that management review this matter seriously and reinforce professional training to ensure equal and respectful treatment for all customers moving forward.

Love the easy grab and go concept, although the rice could have used some work…read more There is a huge lunch rush, so it's best to arrive right at opening. The refrigerated display was fairly small while the back wall was lined with shelves of Asian snacks. The sushi section was only wide enough for three or four people, so guests frequently had to reach over one another to grab their selections. The staff at checkout were friendly and packaged everything neatly. I also appreciated that the chopsticks were noticeably higher quality than standard takeout utensils. *Tuna Avo Roll: good balance of tuna, rice, and avocado. The avocado was slightly underripe, giving the roll an overall sharper, tangier profile. The tuna had a pleasant texture, though it was a touch fishy. The rice was at its best in this roll compared to the other items I ordered. *Omakase Nigiri: an incredible value for the quality and generous portions. Each piece was topped with thick, fleshy cuts of fish. My set included three tuna, two salmon, one scallop, and one ikura nigiri. The tuna was the standout and nearly melted in my mouth. The salmon was solid but fairly standard. The rice, however, was on the firmer side with only subtle vinegar seasoning. *Salmon Aburi: the beautifully torched top looked promising but surprisingly lacked any noticeable smokiness. The salmon was over torched, leaving very little of its natural raw richness and rendering away much of its fattiness. The rice was firmer and even more bland than the rice used in the other items. I really appreciate the reasonable prices and convenient grab and go setup, but the rice needs more consistency in texture and seasoning. Perhaps the refrigerated display contributes to the firmer texture, though the seasoning also varied noticeably between the three items I tried. Fortunately, the seafood itself was fresh, well cut, and generously portioned, which was enough for me to round this up to 3.5 stars.

I was there for one thing.....two scoops of Mitchell's ice cream (Price: $6.49). Creamy and delicious flavors. I picked chocolate and strawberry. No toppings, nothing fancy. The pistachio cream cake and ricotta and pistachio cake sound good too, so many desserts. They also have Mitchell's ice cream. Although there is a sound effect that goes off when you step in the door so the owner or staff must've known when I came in, and they also looked up when a few other people went in and out of the store, I was standing at the counter for about 5 mins before they realized I was waiting to order, so that was awkward. I realized the register is set up for grocery store and not like a restaurant so there wasn't a way to enter a tip for the drink order when paying with credit card; they only have a jar for cash tips. It says minimum $5 for credit or debit or they will charge you $0.50. The owner/employee is pretty no nonsense in demeanor. I ordered a $5 hot mocha for 16 oz. The prices are pretty good for hot drinks. For some reason, for iced drinks, which have a smaller selection, the price jumps up significantly between the 12oz and 16oz size. You can get up to 20oz size for the hot drinks. The coffee itself was pretty good, though, and I liked the amount of chocolate in it. Not bad for drinks, you just might have to try to speak up to get the owner's attention if they are busy washing dishes or not looking your way / not at the register.
