They are opening a little later hours now which is great given that it can hard to get there after work. Overall, we have been impressed with the knowledge of team members supporting their fresh seafood section, and they are transparent in their sourcing of fish and shellfish, along with providing suggestions on how best to prepare them. Seafood is not cheap so if you are going to invest, you want good quality, and that's what you'll find. Generally, their fruits and vegetables are high quality as well, and sometimes you just have to sort through them to find the best choices. We also love not having to travel to Concord or the Tri-Valley to grab certain Asian pantry items. Mithepheap Market has all the ingredients I need when I'm making my meals. When I'm on the go, I love coming by to pick up some ready to eat foods such as papaya salad and Banh Xeo. I love how they packed the papaya salad with the roasted peanuts on the side. The Banh Xeo comes in 2 pieces and it's separated by banana leaves so it's easy to pull apart.
