I would love to give mad props to the employees that worked last Friday during the first day of the Lightbox Expo. There were so many people, and I managed to get my order in less than 20 minutes in spite of it all! Incredibly impressive considering the amount of customers there were in the storefront! I got a tomato and pesto sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Exactly what I needed before the start of the convention. Thank you so very much!

Cinnamon Roll

I used to be such a big fan of Europane. It been a few years since I had been there. Thought I would try their cinnamon roll. OMG the worst cinnamon roll I've ever had. Don't waste your money. It truly did not even look like a cinnamon roll. It had some kind of caramel sauce on top. Why? It didn't even taste like there was any cinnamon in it. Hopefully their other pastries are better !!!

This place used to be so cutting edge and unique with all sorts of special pastries and breads and now it's just a pared down shell of itself. Still an attractive place to get standard coffee house fare but the one-of-a-kind nature is gone.

Uncooked hashbrowns

Really bad food. We ordered this for delivery so maybe it all dried out on the drive over? The cinnamon roll was one of the worst ever; super dry and tough. The egg salad was really unappetizing; cold, congealed into a ball and somehow dry as well. We got hash browns and it's like they didn't cook them - we ended up cooking them ourselves.

Nice and bright inside

Went biking and needed lunch. Decided to try this place out (heard a lot about it and had their macarons before). There is a bike rack that held about 4 bikes. The outdoor dining space looks nice (but it was too hot for today's weather) but we ate inside the nice AC room. If you order more than $20, you get a free 12oz coffee. Ordered the chorizo burrito and Mediterranean chicken sandwich with tomato soup. The chorizo burrito was good but wished they had more than Chulula hot sauce. The chicken sandwich had great flavor and wasn't dry at all! The orange wedge was a good extra. After eating, you leave the dishes in a bin near the door. It's a nice environment and great for studying or working. Would come back!

Cute little coffee shop. It's a little bit on the pricey side (I got the granola and greek yogurt combo and it came out to about $12, but it was a very generous portion of both). It does get pretty busy and the day I went, there was only one person working the register and making the food, so I do recommend some patience is in order (and luckily for me, everyone was very patient that morning!). There is street parking, but you can also park across the street inside Paseo Colorado. I like the ambiance of it and I look forward going back.

Freshly made granola and Greek yogurt.

Enjoyed a relaxing tasty and filling breakfast. Freshly made granola and Greek yogurt was very filling. The granola was slightly sweet, which is perfect for my pallet. Hubby enjoyed sandwich on freshly made ciabatta bread and brewed coffee. Price was very reasonable, service and staff were very cordial and went out of their way to give me a sample of the granola prior to ordering. Hats off to the Team, thank you for your thoughtfulness and making us feel cared for.

First timer here... looking for a change from Starbucks. Tried the chai tea latte. At first sip it was unexpected taste as I'm used to how sweet it is at Starbucks compared to here. The nore I drank the more I liked it. Here they don't use the chai syrup. Instead, they use the little tea bags from Stash. Also had the bacon egg drop (it's just n egg sandwich) on sourdough bread. It was good.

It's been a very long time since I've visited Europane, I remember their delicious open-faced egg salad sandwich and it was just as I remembered when we ordered it today.  Get it with the brioche toasted buns and your mouth will thank you! We also share an avocado toast on a sourdough bread. It literally had a spinach salad on top of it! Can it get any healthier?  It wasn't crowded at all when we came around Noonish on a Sunday.  But it was quite bright and sunny inside the restaurant and the shade does not pull down. So we opted to sit outside in the shade.  The waitress brought our food out a few minutes later and it was great with my cafe au lait.  Will definitely be back.

Not like before. Coffee was good. Other pastries are not that great. I miss the old spot.

Republik is pretty big inside, with lots of outdoor space and seating as well. It was very busy when we arrived, and there was a line, but it moved pretty quickly and I got my order in a decent amount of time. I saw they had an Ube latte, so of course that is what I ordered, and it did not disappoint. Very flavorful and delicious. I saw the sign that said bakes good happy hour 50% off after 3 pm. Well that was misleading. So everything that I ordered, the cookies and cake are not part of the sale. I wish they were more clear about that. I thought it was 1/2 off which is why I ordered so many to start out with. The taste of the bake good, however, are good and not too sweet which is great. The chocolate chip cookie was meh, there are better ones in Pasadena. The pistachio cooking was good. And the green tea cake was amazing. I just wish there sign for the discount was more clear and things were so pricy.

The staff is always so gracious and knowledgeable about their current offerings. They continue to experiment with flavors (a new favorite is the Matcha Jasmine latte) Perennial favorites: Pandan Latte (they somehow make the best flavored one here, even though there are now several coffee shops in the area that make this drink. I believe they might be the OG). Matcha latte (they make theirs unsweetened, and for purists, this is perfect!) I need to talk about their Ube foam here. You can add it to any drink (I like topping my pandan lattes with it--it's a perfect flavor blend!) It is decadent, sweet, and creamy, and yes, makes your drink a dessert! While other shops also make Ube cream tops, Dash's Ube foam is the best one by a large margin when it comes to taste and texture. The shop space is cozy and clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. There is customer turnover, but sometimes it's not fast, so a few times, I've had to take my drinks to go even though I had planned to stay a while if seating allowed--obviously others enjoy the vibe here as well!

Their pastries are legitimate Paris-level quality. The one that looks like a pain au raisin (but isn't) is incredible--those glazed, crunchy parts are what's up! I came here to get some work done on my laptop, and the vibe was perfect. People actually rotate out instead of camping at tables all day, so indoor and outdoor seating opens up organically. I guess this is the spot for coffee and pastries in Pasadena. It was a cute shop with a millennial-friendly aesthetic. Brick walls, exposed ceiling, and lots of hanging lights. Case full of beautiful pastries, house chocolates and merchandise for sale. The line moved quickly enough, and service was friendly and reasonably fast. A table opened up for us when we needed it, and we sat and enjoyed our coffee and pastry. I got a salted honey latte, which was delicious. I'm not a habitual coffee drinker, and this felt like a special indulgent little treat. I'm not a pastry person either, but the kougin amann was fantastic, rich and buttery and shatteringly crispy. I also got a chocolate croissant to go for my husband, who said it was really good. We sat for maybe half an hour, and when we left, someone was there to take our spot, and we had to squeeze past the line that was coming through the door. I don't like coffee and sweets enough to do all that on a regular basis, but I enjoyed my visit to Artisanal Goods and would recommend it if you want top notch pastries in Pasadena.
