    Liqui Moly Oil

Ivo changed oil for my BMW M340i with quality Liqui Moly oil and parts! He knows my car well and changed the oil despite the warm weather! Really appreciate the service. The charge was reasonable. Will come back again!

Best Audi repair shop in the bay area! He is very experienced in diagnosis and troubleshooting. The repair bill is very reasonable, only 30% of what dealer will charge you. He did free inspection for me and very professional in every way. Highly recommend you to service your Audi here.

UPDATE 6/1/10: The owner, Mario, just left me a very intimidating voicemail about my 1 star review, calling it "bullshit," that he took care of me in a "great way," and demanded that I "fix" my review right away. I'm not sure what kind of owner/manager handles customer dissatisfaction in this way, but it is completely unprofessional. There was no apology whatsoever for the missed inspections. He also said that if I didn't understand the invoice, that it's not his mechanic's job to explain what was done to my car. Actually, it is my expectation that whoever checks me out is able to explain the invoice to me. It was not clearly communicated what exactly was done, nor what exactly I need to bring my car back for at 80k as he had advised to split the service. Below are photos of my brakes, which an independent body shop checked out for me when replacing my blown out tire, a few thousand miles after I took my car to European Auto Repair for my 75k service, where they also discovered the brake pads were completely worn down to the metal as well! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kZnqHaqWjZApVOXJOhSgSA?select=jnLQYCb7fEpYzFMJ5H-YRg http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/kZnqHaqWjZApVOXJOhSgSA?select=XYVbWYC5FHpUmis7eafC6A --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I came back for my Audi 75k service. Since this is a big service, the owner Mario advised to do the timing belt change first, and take care of minor things like oil change that can wait till 80k to split up the cost. I thought great, and left my car there for 2 days. When I picked up my car, Mario wasn't there, so one of the mechanics checked me out. I asked him what they did to my car to confirm what I need to take care of when I bring my car back to complete the rest of the service at 80k as he had advised. The mechanic looked at me baffled that I even asked and could not clearly communicate what was done nor what I need to do when I brought it back at 80k. After I picked up my car, I notice that the steering started to vibrate whenever I'd accelerate or make a turn. I came back a few weeks later, left the car there for an entire day to have it checked out and the owner told me I needed to spend at least $700 to replace my power steering pump. Later that week, my friend noticed that my two front tires were low on air and that my tread looked quite worn. I immediately pumped air in my tires, and no more vibration. Simple tire check missed, and I left my car there for a total of 3 days up to this point. Before even making it to bring my car back for 80k service, my right front tire blows out while I'm driving on the freeway. Apparently, my tires were so worn down that my tread was starting to split apart for both my front tires according to an independent auto shop I brought it to. The manager there found that my brakes were completely worn down to the metal and even showed me the brake pads (see pics above). I was horrified. He told me that brake pads take a long time to wear down, which means this was another missed critical safety inspection. Having brought my car to European Auto Repair for 75k service, I am extremely disappointed that they missed the tire and brake check, which is not something that can wait until 80k. I was only fine with deferring the oil change, as I had recently taken care of that. He also recommended to spend another $700 on a brand new power steering pump I did not need. To make matters worse, the owner's nonexistent customer service skills in handling dissatisfied customers in which he cursed at me and demanded that I take down my 1 star review for my truthful, honest opinion of poor service that affects my SAFETY is not how you deal with unsatisfied customers. Since the voicemail incident, he's also called threatening to sue, so heaven forbid you actually have a bad experience here and write about it! If you don't believe me, see the other 1 star review here that also mentions missed inspections, where Alex H. also had to pay an additional $100 to have his problem fixed by the dealer on top of the $600 he already paid here. I am not the only one that's had similar complaints here. Needless to say, I will NEVER bring my car back here again, and I really hope the owner stops calling, threatening and harassing me!!!

From the moment I met Jesse, I knew I was in great hands. Jesse is a fully equipped mobile mechanic who handled everything on the spot with amazing efficiency. He arrived right where we agreed, prepared with all the necessary tools. He completed the job quickly and right in front of me, explaining every step of the process as he worked. Jesse even checked if I wanted to keep the old brake pads and rotors or if he should dispose of them, which showed his conscientious approach and respect for my preferences. His workmanship was immaculate--everything was done cleanly, and honestly, my brakes don't squeak anymore. I can feel the improved stopping power immediately. Jesse's professionalism and attention to detail are unmatched. I was also impressed by how friendly and straightforward he was, making the entire experience very comfortable. I genuinely don't understand any negative reviews on his page, as my experience was flawless. Jesse is definitely my new go-to guy for any automotive work I need in the future. I'm very grateful to Groupon for bringing him to my attention because I probably wouldn't have discovered such a reliable and skilled mechanic otherwise. If you want honest, quick, knowledgeable, and affordable service, look no further than Jesse at Green Barrel Motors. Highly recommended!

The owner didn't mention ay additional charges. When I went to the shop , the owner told me I need to pay additional $40 dollars for oil recycling which is not mentioned on the groupon website. I told him I can accept the charge and I need the receipt with the $40 additional charge to follow up with groupon about it. The owner said I am not interested in the deal anymore and asked me to leave and get a refund from groupon. I also noticed the owner increased the break fluid flush price on groupon from $160 to $240 after I left the shop today. It's a really bad experience for customers that the owner can change his mind and reject the service. Update for owner's review below "a vehicle that is directly not covered in the advertisement" , groupon adversisement doesn't mention any special vehicle price. After the owner told me to charge additional $40, I was confused and later accepted the charge while telling him to get the receipt for reference then I can follow up with groupon. After that, the owner refused to do the service. I guess the owner don't want his practice to be exposed to groupon. The owner could have listed the additional charge on the groupon website in the beginning to let customers be clear about all the cost.
