A Brazilian is when they wax it all off and she did so phenomenally! Erica is super gentle yet quick and efficient. She is a petite and friendly young lady and she makes you feel very welcome. It is located in the M&T building by Columbia mall. It is elegant and calming when with it's decorations. And very clean! The room is small with pretty purple walls and also very clean. She plays Zen type music so you remain relaxed and is full of light convo to keep your mind off things. Both front and back are included and believe me it's not as painful as you think. She is great and will make you want to make this a routine visit. I'm excited to go back and refer lol. If you call and get voicemail leave a message she is sure to callback and is uber polite. And that $15 you pay for the membership, better do it in January only because it's not for a year from when you started, it's due every January. So my membership that started in September still has to be renewed in January for another $15. I am not renewing just to find out all the other ways they plan on screwing me over. The worst is the managers/owners are completely absentee and make the waxers do double duty at the front desk and take on the brunt of frustrated customers. Must be nice to sit in your palace funded by bad business practices and the labor of others. Speaking of the waxers, Christina is absolutely amazing and the best waxer I've ever had. She is efficient, minimizes pain, and produces clean and lasting results. She should be paid what the quality of her work deserves and she should be treated better.

I scheduled my appointment online and snagged a last minute appointment for a Saturday morning with Madi. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment and she was able to take me right away. I paid for my services prior, which I appreciate. Nothing like a bottle neck at the front desk, with all your patrons trying to pay at the same time. The decor in the Beauty Lab is beautiful. If it very minimalistic, homey and comfortable. Most importantly, it is very clean! In fact, the kind gentlemen at the front desk was cleaning when I arrived. Cleanliness is definitely very important for a waxing business, so I appreciated that! The wax room was very spacious and clean. Madi was an absolute sweetheart. She was very professional and the wax experience was amazing! She had me in and out in no time, which I definitely appreciated on this specific Saturday, because it was snowing and I wanted to get off the roads ASAP. (I started getting gel manicures to grow out my natural nails.) And to "fix" it he put on a nail tip--this nail now does not match my natural nails at all. There was zero disregard for precision. Glue and gel got cured to my skin in so many places--contact dermatitis is a serious concern! The tech also did not do the cat eye effect properly--looks nothing like a cat eye. The tech also cut my finger while filing my nails (about 1cm long)! There also was no apology for anything, not for breaking my nail, not for cutting my finger. Needless to say, this experience makes me never want to return. I cried the entire drive home--I paid $55 to get my nail broken, nail beds damaged, finger cut, and nails I'm not happy with. I just got engaged and I got a fresh set to go along with showing my extended family my engagement ring this weekend. Very disappointing!

We walked back to the room and she sat me down and discussed my concerns, in-take paper work, and my overall skincare routine. During the facial she explained throughout what she was doing and it was one of the most relaxing facials I have ever had. I generally get facials done at my local med spa, however I will definitely incorporate Oja's into my routine. She addressed all my concerns such as acne and hyperpigmentation. The massage she gave during and the hand/feet masks were a fantastic touch. Afterwards, she went over all that she did and also what product she used. I was thoroughly impressed by how clean, organized, the customer service, and etc. 10/10 in service, ambiance, and overall value.

So what the Healing Waters entails are six water therapies that relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore the body, mind + soul through a series of thoughtfully curated water therapies. and you can add a session in the crystal salt room and enhance your immune system, purge toxins, and soothe and repair skin concerns. Right now the healing waters for 90 mins is going for $50 and if you want to get the robe an slippers it is an additional $10. You can also bring your own robe and pool slides if you like. My favorites out the session were the relaxing hot tub, cold plunge and the steam room. The steam room really pulls out the toxins in your body. They have really nice locker room area is really nice they have secure lockers for your belongings, a sauna and nice showers. Their wellness lounge offers clients time to relax before or after spa services or mindful movement classes. A wonderful place to share a cup of our signature tea with friends. Within the spa, a serene quiet lounge is available for use for those who prefer to relax in solitude. And if the spa is not your thing, they do offer mindful movement classes that are centered around self-care and are offered in a supportive group environment. Traditional yoga, barre, cardio and mediation sessions are available 7 days a week. I am really big on self care and centering my mind and body and The Pearl Spa gets it right. I highly recommend this place to just try just once. I will say Saturdays are really busy, so if you are looking for more quieter days, I would go during the week. It's a small business (yay!) with a larger chain feel as in there are plenty of body products you can browse and buy up front in the lobby area which is nice. the receptionist was polite. Got a quick little tour and was escorted to the locker room, you get a card with your locker number and code on it, they have showers too, very convenient. Then waited in the wellness area for the massage therapist to come get me. Afterwards was escorted to their small quiet lounge, brought my choice of tea (they had cucumber water and 2 tea options, I opted for the white ginger tea which was great). Very relaxing atmosphere in the quiet lounge. Enjoyed my massage, Luke was great and very professional (he asked about avoidance areas, focus areas etc the usual). I asked for some reflexology which he accommodated. Foot massage was great. Body felt so relaxed the rest of the day. I've been to several different luxury spas and this is deff my new fave local spot. LOVED the massage room ambience- spacious, nice aesthetic that's almost salt cave like yet still modern, and loved that they have a robe warmer you can use if you wish! After your massage you can stay and hangout in the lounge or sauna as long as you wish. Sauna was pretty hot, around 170F if I recall. Definitely makes you feel pampered. They also give you a complimentary brownie when you check out. Highly recommend coming here for a massage! They also have their healing water pool you can pay separately for time in. Parking: drive down a little road ramp to find it, it's to the side of WholeFoods. Plenty of free parking in the garage directly out front of the spa.
