Cindy is Top Tier for Men's Cuts, Shaves, and Styles - and has a Massive Resume' of Women's Styles and Colors! She has been in the profession for over 20 plus years! My experience was better than sitting with my old Bartender! This amazing experience was like catching up with an old friend! I literally have a spot thinning on my dome and Cindy taught me how to style it in such a fashion; that it actually gave me confidence to stop wearing my hat. Her prices are competitive to a Floyd's Barber or an over-priced Sports-Clip Franchise. I would suggest calling ahead to book appointment. I can not sing enough praises for Lisa Brown Northrup. She was able to give me the look I wanted, but didn't think possible. I went to her with jet black home dyed hair. I had been coloring my hair myself for past 2 years. I had done a lot of damage to it. Lisa was able to gently lighten the color to a rich auburn brown with lovely carmel highlights. She spent over 3 hours pampering me like a queen. I left feeling like a million bucks with out spending a million that I thought it would cost. Thank you! This review is for Ashley Ciccone: I have been coming to Even More for about 3 years now. Ashley is a wonderful hair stylist. She always does a great and thorough job on my hair. I have never ever been disappointed with her work. I have come to her for hair cuts as well as hair coloring treatments. If you are interested in getting your hair colored, a full foil is going to be $90 and a half foil is $60. I think Ashley's prices are very reasonable and she does an amazing job. The other lady's at Even More are very nice too. My mom also comes to this salon and Lisa cuts her hair. Lisa also does a great job, which is why my mom has been coming to her for a few years now. I am so happy to have a salon that I can rely on and that is close to my house! read more

I was new to the Seal Beach area and was recommended by two different people to try Lisa at Even More. I made very clear what I wanted. I showed her two photos of what I wanted. One represented the color, the other the cut. I was pleased with the color, it was fine. However, the hair cut was probably the worst that I've ever had. It looked nothing like the picture, and was very poorly done. The ends looked "split" and damaged after she cut my hair, the shaping was terrible and the layers were all over the place. I will never return to this salon. And it cost $170 (including tip). Never again. read more

This is a review about Ashley. I stumbled upon Even More Hair Salon when I first moved to the area a few years ago. Ashley cut my hair that day. Since that day, she has been the only person to cut my hair which is about once every 2-3 weeks. Ashley is a professional that is truly passionate about what she is doing, and it is evident in her work. Her consistency is what is most impressive to me. I recently found out that she takes notes on every customer to better understand how they want their hair to look. To me, that is above and beyond and I commend her for that. Both my wife and I go to Ashley which is a testament to her ability to cut and style for both men and women. The 5 star rating is exactly as Yelp puts it, "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" My daughter and I were walking around Seal Beach enjoying a leisurely day off work. We saw a sign saying "Walk-ins Welcome", and we decided to give it a try. We were told it would be about 45 minutes, so we walked across the street to the beach and waited (best waiting area ever!) We returned after 45 minutes and Victoria was available. She did my color first, giving me a root touch-up. I was impressed because she didn't try to push an all over color or highlights. She only suggested what I needed. While my color sat, she trimmed my daughter's hair, which is long and unbelievably thick. It is rare she finds a stylist that can, 1st, cut it straight and 2nd, not leave random stragglers. Victoria did both! It looked great! When it came time for my cut, I showed Victoria a picture of what I wanted. I had used the same picture for my last cut and did not have good results. Victoria, however, took one look at the picture and started telling me how she would make it happen. She made quick work of the cut and then styled my hair. It was PERFECTION! The color was exactly right and the style was everything I wanted. Now it was time to pay up. I didn't ask about pricing before we started, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleased that the prices were somewhat less than most boutique salons in the area. Even if it would have been more, it was worth it. We all know the true test of a great cut is what it looks like when we have to style it by ourself. Well, with a few pulls of a flat iron, my hair looked just like it did the day I walked out of Even More. Thanks Victoria for a great new look!
