You get to pick the flowers you want, and they will help arrange the flowers into a bouquet for you. All the flowers looked fresh and pretty. It was pretty affordable given we got to pick exactly which flowers we wanted and got to gift them to a friend. They were incredibly friendly and nice and we were so happy we stopped! Usually Everbloom is my favorite flower shop but they've since fell off based on my visit today buying flowers for Mother's Day. $70 for a bouquet with 3 roses is wild. Lots of gaps too. I asked for assistance to make the bouquet look fuller/fill the gaps and the lady just added a single bunch of yellow baby's breath in the center. I asked to change to white instead as there's no yellow in the bouquet & it didn't match. She then got upset and switched it to a single bunch of white baby's breath... as you can see it didn't help much. The bouquets are not worth the money anymore. Ever since I met my husband (14 years ago), he has been giving me flowers every month on the anniversary of the day we met. Everbloom had three locations in San Diego when I was first introduced: Mira Mesa, Hillcrest, and North Park. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and consistently they have exceptional flowers at great prices. Today I came by to pick up a bouquet of flowers and chose from the selections they had on display. They put together such beautiful and colorful arrangements, it's sometimes hard to pick from the large display. This is a small shop, almost the size of a kiosk, located in the heart of Hillcrest. There are a couple of parking spaces right in front of the shop and several alongside the store so parking really isn't a problem. As I mentioned, they have plenty of arrangements ready to go if you want something in a hurry and don't know exactly what you want. However, if you have a few minutes and want something different from the arrangements they have ready, just ask they and they will put something personal together from the wide variety of fresh flowers they have. Like any other place, just tell them your price range and that will guide them to what flowers and size of the arrangement. But be forewarned, their prices are quite reasonable and you might end up with a bouquet much larger than you expected. And you likely be pleasantly surprised when you see how long these flowers last. You might think they bouquets look like flowers you might see in a grocery store, but those flowers only last a couple of days whereas the flowers from Everbloom will easily last a week (or more) longer than the store bought flowers. And you can tell the freshness of Everbloom flowers by the smell. You'll come home and immediately you are reminded of the flowers as you smell the fresh fragrance throughout your home. After picking out my bouquet, they wrapped them up in brown paper so I could carry them. The size might be a bit deceiving when you are looking at them next to all the other bouquets, but when I brought it to my car, it nearly filled up the passenger seat in my car. If you need fresh flowers, I can't recommend this place enough. And if you have to drive a bit to come here.... I assure you, it's well worth your drive. As I pointed out, I've been going for 10 years and they consistently provide the freshest and most colorful flowers. read more

There is a parking lot that you can access on the right hand side of 5th, just north of University (no not the parking structure) It's the lot behind the flower stand, but since it's a one-way you have to access it from 5th Ave. The flower guy said parking is free as long as you're buying flowers, so ignore the pay station...... lol. The variety of flowers are great as well. I checked out the website, which I don't believe does it justice. If I saw the website first I probably wouldn't go there for flowers. I dont typically like pre-arranged bouquets and usually pick out flowers that i enjoy and have the florist put it together. the guy was very friendly and helpful. After he put the whole thing together, I was quite impressed! The green-age additions he gave to it was better than some other florist I have seen (not just typical rose leaves and baby's breath).
