Stopped in on a rainy day for lunch and it was delicious. I had the buffalo chicken salad and a cup of tomato soup. The salad was flavorful and fresh. Soup was savory but the cup was small. My husband ordered the half grilled cheese sandwich and soup. The sandwich was on Texas toast and very cheesy but not very big. The cup of soup it came with was small. Perfect meal for a light lunch but not if you're super hungry. There were lots of different sandwich offerings that sounded good. Would definitely recommend.

I've been to Everdine's multiple times and they never disappoint. Their customer service is excellent, the sandwiches are delicious and they have good options for sides. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Ambiance is great but I wish they had more seating as it gets very busy around lunch time and it's difficult to dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Otherwise no complaints and I would highly recommend them!

Literally how have I not been here before? This is actually probably one of my favorite restaurants I've tried in Naperville downtown so far! The service is super fast, the restaurant is a casual sit down spot where you order at the counter. The food tastes absolutely delicious! They have classic grilled cheese sandwiches along with twists. Cannot wait to come back and try different variations!

My daughter loves this place so we went there for lunch. My sandwich was very tasty. I had the stuff pepper soup but it could have been a lot hotter. They seem to have knowledgeable of a gluten allergy and were very nice.

A delicious quick meal! One of my first stops while visiting the area and it didn't disappoint. It's a small casual spot with affordable prices and excellent food. Can get pretty busy but service is fast. There were so many options to choose from but I got an al pacheeso with dip. The flavors and texture were great and the dip was the best complement. The ratio of the ingredients was perfect because everything felt balanced. I love a good grilled cheese and Everdine's was perfect for satisfying that craving!

Our Favorite lunch spot in downtown Naperville. Grilled Cheese is the theme here, any way you like it. My favorite is the sloppy Jane(Joe), on grilled cheese with bacon, add a side of tomato soup and you have a perfect lunch combo. Gluten Free Options available as well. Small dining area with a few outdoor dining (weather permitting). Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick stop. Thank you

I've never been here before does anybody know if other than their premade sandwiches listed on the menu you can you create your own grill cheese like from a list of toppings?

Yes! We have a Build You Own section where you can choose your cheeses and add veggies/meats. Please let us know if you have any other questions, Jess!

So I'm not sure how busy it can get in there or what it's like yet. There were a few different sandwiches that I was interested in trying but I ordered the regular Pacino. Immediately when I got my order, I could small the deliciousness and truffle right as I was opening it up! I also knew that I wouldn't be able to finish the sandwich in one sitting, but it didn't matter. Haha I took the first bite and all the flavors just hit! I loved everything about it. The mozzarella, truffle pecorino cream, and arugula all went so well together and it was creamy; and then to add the prosciutto for the saltiness. SO GOOD! The bread was more on the crunchy side....still kinda soft but more crunchy. My personal preference is for it to be a little more soft...so it doesn't cut the top of my mouth lol. Will definitely be getting sandwiches from here again! Hopefully, I'll get a chance to go to the actual storefront. But now I know I have a go to spot if I really want a good sandwich!

It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.

Lots of fun deli sandwiches to choose from. I chose a French Dip; hubby had a pick two-- a cup of matzo ball soup, and 1/2 corned beef sandwich. Both served with a whole new pickle. Mine was absolutely delicious. Tons of beef, melty swiss, and grilled onion. Served nice and hot with a tasty au jus. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his as well. Great Jewish deli. I guess I need to roam around downtown Glen Ellyn more often... some friends and I gave it a try for lunch on a Friday. After stepping inside and taking one glance at the menu I knew it was going to be great. The menu has a ton of sandwich options, some pizzas, and a cooler with side salads and drinks. One bonus: they have little samples of the side salads, which is wonderful! The potato salad is incredible, by the way. Besides the menu being very easy to read, the staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions you have. I went with The Viking sub, a potato salad, a bag of chips (Deep River, yum), and water (free and flavored with lemon!). It took just a minute or two for my sandwich to be made but the ambiance is chill and inviting. One small critique: they could clean up the "storage" feel to the place. We ate our meal al fresco, as those are the only tables they have, but it was enjoyable because the weather was nice. Most others grabbed and went. The food is outstanding! The sandwich was absolutely delicious and the toasted bread was perfection. Piled high with meat and toppings it is easily the best sandwich in the west suburbs. The Deep River chips are a great pairing, as always, and the potato salad was everything I was hoping for. In all the meal far exceeded expectations and I left full and happy. My friends were also equally impressed. If you can't already tell, I'm a fan... a BIG fan... of A&G's. The fact that it is right here in downtown GE... I'm in heaven and will be frequenting it often!
