My wife ordered dinner for the whole family from here tonight via Doordash, and it was all excellent. We all love Indian food and haven't had it in a while, so tonight was the perfect opportunity to indulge. We ordered Naan bread with goat meat inside, another kind of Naan with goat cheese inside, Indian dumplings, chicken biryani, and vegan thali. Those portions were huge, and the price was pretty low, despite how much we ordered. Even if you aren't a vegan, the vegan dishes are satisfying. We highly recommend this place. It's totally worth it. The owner was really cool, too, and went to great lengths to make our experience an excellent one. read more

The service at this place is awful! Our waitress was rude and not accommodating at all- we requested a medium spicy dish that came out insanely spicy to the point that we were all sweating. We regularly eat spicy food so our tolerance is quite high. We asked if they could remake it less spicy since it was inedible. She looked at us like we were crazy and said "do you want me to pour cream in it?" Umm, no. Then she said "What do you want me to do?!" Unbelievably rude! She eventually bringing out a replacement that was less spicy, but it was clearly the same bowl that they had just added cream to! The color was way lighter than the curry that was still on our plates. We specifically didn't want to just add cream to reduce the spiciness because it would dilute the other flavors- we wanted all the other flavors, just less spice. Have been to this location under previous owners, every once in a while, and arrived without realizing there has been a change. Decided to try it out and was very glad that we did! The restaurant looks nicer than ever, the server was friendly and kind, and the food was superb. I can't say that I've tried dozens of Indian cuisine restaurants, but a single dozen at least. My food tonight topped all of what I've had before. I choose the Thali option with my chicken makhani, as I like to have several flavors to try. Not only was my main delicious, but the sides were by far the most flavorful sides I've ever been served. In most places those have seemed like a "throw away"; by which, I mean, they were fine, and some nice variation, but nothing to get excited for. That wasn't the case tonight. I picked up some butter chicken thali here and it was delicious. The thali part was my favorite, the dal, curry, naan were all delicious. I did wish the butter chicken was less sweet, but the flavors were still delicious. Next time I would try to chicken tiki masala or lamb curry. The tikka masala was delicious and full of flavorful. The chow mein was a new dish to me from an Indian restaurant but it did not disappoint. It was similar in noodles and taste to a Chinese chow mein with added flavors. Both naans were fresh and paired nicely with the tikka masala.
