We came here for a super late dinner with the family. We were expecting not so good service but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing and they did not make us feel rushed or anything of sort even though we did get here kind of late and last minute. The arrachera plate was pretty darn good and big enough for 2 people. I took some for lunch. The mango michelada was also great and refreshing and surprisingly did taste like mango. This vibe is a typical Mexican restaurant. Accommodating and relaxed as well as busy. I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints 10/10 recommend. Third time coming here. Food is really tasty especially the Chile Relleno and Quesa Biria Tacos. The sauce on the Relleno is some kind of magic. Their Spicy Margarita is absolutely delicious (see photo). Lots of people were ordering the Molcajetes. Service has been really good for all 3 visits. Friendly and efficient. Had an amazing time at Los Molcajetes Bar & Grill! Jorge, the bar guy, was fantastic--super friendly and knowledgeable. They offer 2oz pours on all house-made drinks and have an awesome happy hour with 50% off drafts and select food from Monday to Thursday. All the cocktails and juices are made in-house, and the food was delicious. I ordered the Aguachiles, and my friends ordered the Menudo, which is only served on weekends, along with the Birria. I am always impressed with how fast the food comes out and it is always fresh! The decor inside is beautiful and the bar is impressive with the white and blue tile. The last time we went we had the super burrito with the green sauce and my boyfriend had the super quesadilla but I've tried numerous items on the menu and all are delicious. The margarita flight is very tasty as well. The only thing I will say I was a little disappointed in the fact that you make a reservation when coming with a large party. Today I tried something new, the mixtas fajitas overall the plate was a 2/10 a huge disappointment that it costed $27 and it doesn't come with sour cream, pico de gallo, or even guacamole. Lots of large pieces of shrimp, side of beans, rice, and salad. The only complaint I have is the rice was overly salty. Also, we were NOT given water at all. We all had to ask for water in the end when we were dying of thirst from drinks and sodas. To make sure I was correct, I did Doordash last night and ordered here to be delivered.
