If I could give ZERO stars I definitely would. For the first two years, this was a fairly good service, except they occasionally missed my pickup, even though the truck was on my street. (I saw it several times from my window). Then something change this past year, and about 75% of the time, they miss my pickup...and refuse to credit me. I called to cancel, and they have failed to pickup their can three weeks in a row. This is a HORRIBLE waste disposal company. Avoid at all costs. I had Evergreen Disposal Services for over 7 years. Throughout the course of having them, trash picked up went from 2 days a week to one day a week which is fine. However the prices kept going up and the service got worst. There were times where my house was completely skipped but my neighbors would have been serviced. There is a transfer waste station 5 minutes down the road from where I live. It just makes sense to save the money and take the trash myself. read more

Started this service a couple of months ago and they have missed countless pick ups!! When we call they try to say it is due to our location, but they dropped off the bin and have no problem finding us on weeks they do pick it up! Taking advantage of a disabled elderly person. Didn't pick up trash for months and are refusing to give a refund because we didn't cancel in a timely manner. As an update to my earlier review: We ended our service with Evergreen in July. We were instructed to leave our empty bins out for collection on a specific date. The trash bin was collected 3 days after it was supposed to be (naturally), but the recycling bin was not because, of course, they hadn't actually emptied our recycling for several weeks. We ended up borrowing a relative's truck to empty the recycling at the dump ourselves so that this ridiculous company would come get our bin and process our refund for the upcoming service quarter. It has been 19 days so far that our recycling bin has been sitting at the end of our driveway, irritating our neighbors, and Evergreen still hasn't picked it up and given us our refund. I've called 2-3 times every week and have gotten the same answer every time: "I'm putting in a work order and it will be picked up tomorrow." 19 days. Zero way to contact anyone else or file a complaint, and at this point I'm suspecting that they're dragging their feet so that they can tell us we're not getting our refund. Don't let yourself get scammed like we have been. read more

My pickup days are Tuesday and Thursdays , on Tuesday they arrived at 7PM and threw my trashcan down on driveway. They did not arrive Thursday and still have not 2 days later. Evergreen Disposal Services is the worst trash company. They damage your trash can because they slam the can on the ground after they empty it, and they bang it against the truck when they are emptying it in the back of the truck. When you contact the company to make a complaint, they say it's nothing they can do about it. They leave trash in the can and in the street. They are rude, and they leave the can in the street and block your mailbox. When you ask them to please not block your mailbox because the mailman will not deliver your mail. They continue to do it anyway. You call the company, and they do nothing about it. There is a hole in the bottom of my trash can, and on the top, the handle is broken. Complaints to the company do nothing they say they are not responsible for damage to your trash can. My neighbors and I are meeting with the HOA about the issues. We are looking for another company. Beware, the company does not care about their customers or the companys' reputation. They are too expensive to give such poor service. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The reviews should have an option not to leave any stars. That option would be utilized by many people leaving reviews, and it would be greatly appreciated. read more

I have been a customer for years. Everything was great until this past July. One of their trucks ran off our gravel road and into our yard; creating deep ruts from the tires. After weeks of calling every 2 days, and the office "putting in a call for a supervisor", I quit paying my bill. Not soon after a company rep knocked on my door...TO COLLECT MONEY! Well, that went badly. It took another 12 days before the owner called with nothing but excuses. It took 3 more months (Now its Nov.) for them to send someone out to haphazardly throw down some dirt to even out the yard, with a promise to return in the spring to seed. Well...over the last 2 weeks their truck has driven through the yard 3 times, destroyed 9 yard reflectors and created more damage. I've called numerous times and left messages...no response. My next step is the BBB, and every local media outlet that will listen. read more

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS TRASH!!! On May 28 a sales rep came to our neighborhood extolling the virtues of Evergreen's excellent service while noting that many of my neighbors were dissatisfied with current services provided by another company. I requested information & a contract to review. I did not commit to anything. Patrick said he needed my permission to send this information to me & handed me his tablet for my signature. The screen was blank (BIG red flag right there) & I know I shouldn't have signed anything I couldn't see so that's my stupid. Received a contract for review and low & behold I had signed it without ever getting to read it. Deadline to cancel was June 4. That day I sent an email to Evergreen asking for clarification of some unclear wording on the contract. No response. Then on July 2 I got a bill for services. Called "customer service" and I use that word very loosely . Spoke with "Susan" who quickly demonstrated her complete lack of people skills. She said she was very surprised that I had not read the contract as expected and wanted to know why I hadn't done that. The only way to avoid a bill for service I didn't want and didn't know I signed up for is to pay a $75 cancellation fee or (a) prove that service was not provided in a timely manner. She said all trucks are GPS-equipped and they know where each truck is at any given moment, meaning there was zero chance I could prove anything or (b) let them know I'm moving AND PROVIDE PROOF of my move. I guess that would be a bill of sale for my home, a loan application for a new home or proof of admission to a nursing home???. We went back and forth for about 10 minutes until I could no longer tolerate her rudeness, general unpleasantness and total crap attitude. BEWARE OF EVERGREEN'S SALES TACTICS & STEER CLEAR!!! I recently switched to Evergreen from another trash company. It has been the best switch I have ever made. It was a breeze requesting service and getting the service started. Unlike the previous company I was with I did not have to wait two weeks for my trash to be collected and three weeks to receive a trash can. I requested service on a Tuesday and in the same week Thursday my trash was collected and I received a trash can. The customer service rep told me my trash would be picked up around 5am. He was very correct. I have had service now for three weeks and every pick up been at 4:56am prompt. I am able to put my can away from the curb before heading to work. I am very satisfied with the service and efficiency of this company. If Evergreen service your area I highly recommend you using their service. The customer service is very personal and easy to talk to and they communicate update very efficiently via email and call. Therefor you will not be left out of the loop. Last but not least the cost for service is very affordable with a convenient pay schedule. Run don't walk to get Evergreen service! I promise you will not be disappointed. read more

I'm going to post another review with the same complaint as it just gets more ridiculous every week. Today the empty trash tote was literally dropped DIRECLY IN FRONT OF THE MAIL BOX! What the hell, man? Do you people not get mail? Do you not know how mail works? Is my mail carrier expected to get out of the car and walk around your tote because your employees are too stupid to put it in a location near where it was picked up? I mean, I would take the freaking tote up the street to the edge of the property but knowing these stable geniuses it would probably still end up near the mail box. Our HOA recently switched to this company and they are horrible! I am baffled by why they insist on creating a safety hazard by purposely leaving trashcans and in the street for cars to drive around and residents to have to move to park. Making a complaint directly with the company was a complete waste of time. I am hoping public shaming for lazy, unprofessional service might make a difference. However, I won't be holding my breath. Fox Run community has a community contract with the HOA 3 people for whatever reason. I'm left to speculate because neither the HOA or Evergreen Disposal will tell us what the issue is I'm guessing nonpayment??? Well I can tell you I paid my HOA dues and in that agreement they pay the trash bill. So now 163 homes are not getting their trash picked up. The community is being held hostage over something we have no control over. I would have hoped that Evergreen Disposal could recognized the problem and work to resolve the issue. Instead they just stopped pick ups I think we have missed around 8 collection days and here come the holidays with no relief in site. Buyer beware!!!!!! read more

We are disappointed to say that Evergreen Disposal isn't worth the expense. We have to make a military move and are stopping services with three weeks left in the month. The current rate is $8.31/week. We are ending service with three weeks left. Not only will they not prorate the $22. They are charging me to wash out the can. Use Amber's disposal.
