Reviewing again with photos. This business deserves boosting. Their banchan is the best. All the food is yummy.

Another delightful meal at Evergreen! We had just gotten happy hour and bites elsewhere but we needed something substantial and satisfying! We got to try the Naengmyeon for the first time and it was so so good! Light, flavorful, incredible flavor and very well balanced. Quick and efficient service, great prices, and seated immediately!

Date: April 12, 2025 We just finished taking Easter bunny photos when hubs was craving a bulgogi bowl. Yelped around and found this spot fairly close by. Located in a big plaza with a Korean market lays evergreen tucked into the back corner. The restaurant is very small with some tables outside. It seemed like only one ajumma was working as she was doing it all. We ordered a mackerel, and two cold noodle combos - one with galbi and one with bulgogi. Ajumma was so sweet and really loved seeing our kids. Brought us tongs and scissors to make sure we cut the food for the kids and always checked to make sure we were doing okay. All the food was average, imo, however the homey feel to it, gave it a 10/10 taste. It just felt like your Korean grandmother was cooking the meal for you. Tab was higher than expected, ringing out to 85$ for those three. But it was a great first experience. Thank you!

Good food and friendly service. I ordered the tofu stew and galbi combo, it's a bit pricey for lunch but will taste good. It's worth going back.

I will have to admit, the food here is fairly decent. The galbi was soft and had a good flavor. The reason why I'm not giving this a higher rating would be because the owner expects certain tip. For 2 lunch combo, it came out to be about $60. I tipped them $7 on the top of my head (I usually do the calculations on my phone, but today I just estimated). The owner called us back and said "that's all?" I have never had anyone stop me and make me tip them more. So, if you want decent Korean food and deal with an owner that is rude and expects you to tip to their likings, feel free to come here. Would not return again because the attitude from the owner was not worth decent Korean food. Galbi-3/5

Great scorched rice on the bottom! Delicious food. Not too much meat on the bibimbap though only complaint

Delicious food! Not too much meat on the bibimbap though. Service was wonderful and the lady was sweet. They give everything hot and fresh.

Must try !!! Best Korean food in the valley !!! This is our go to for Authentic Korean food, not the all you can eat kind. The seafood pancake is delicious and the best out of any restaurant we have tried. The Kalbi and bulgogi quality and taste is out of this world. The lady who works there is so nice and helpful, she makes you feel at home. The ambiance is like going to a Korean Grandmas house. I definitely recommend this place for anyone that is in the area. If you do the like korean food.... This place will make you a korean food lover

Absolutely god sent food! Delicious! Super nice people and warm atmosphere, feels like home.

Not bad for a korean bbq spot. Little pricey but food is decent. I can only speak for the meat dishes however. Nice staff :)

I ordered the tofu soup with beef and had it medium spicy. The beef in the soup were small pieces of brisket rather than sliced beef like most tofu houses. The soup also had a good flavor to it without being overwhelmingly salty. I would come back just for this. This bulgogi was okay - slightly dry with little flavor. The bone broth soup was a hit. Light on flavor but sometimes that's what you want. It was served with lots of sliced beef. The tteok-bokki is not my favorite dish but everyone seemed to like it. Lots of sausage, thick pieces of sliced pork, and the cylinder shaped rice cakes topped with ramen. The sauce tastes like fancy ketchup to me. Definitely not my thing. The banchan was light with four small dishes but my favorites like kimchi and bean sprouts were there. I would definitely come back especially if I'm ever in the area. There's plenty of parking and the staff is attentive.

One sip in and suddenly I was sitting up straighter like the soup had personally corrected my posture. The rib eye is probably the move here. Juicy. Tender. Nicely seasoned. Very adult crush. The beef soup hit too. Deep flavor. Comforting. The kind of bowl that makes you pause mid-conversation and point at it like hold on. This is good. It had that slow-cooked taste that feels like somebody's auntie was in the back refusing to let the broth be mediocre. The staff is so lovely here. Sweet. Welcoming. On it. The bathroom was clean too, which is always a strong sign that the establishment fears God and respects the people. The vibe is easy and relaxed. Nothing extra. I love Ace Gogi. Love love love Ace Gogi…read more My little brother and I go here weekly for lunch. Our go-to location is the Van Nuys one. It's not as nice as the Fallbrook location, but we like how lively and active it is. There's always energy in there. The Fallbrook spot is really nice though--better ambience, more spacious, and just a cleaner feel overall. We just haven't caught it when it's busy yet. That one feels more chill and laid back, which is nice when you want a slower vibe. So honestly, best of both worlds depending on the mood. Our go-to order is the spicy bulgogi with white rice and the pepper beef. We've tried a lot of the menu too--spicy baby octopus, cow tongue, a bunch of different items--but we always end up going back to what we know. It's one of those spots where we just sit there, eat, talk, and keep going until we're full. Shoutout Ace Gogi for the vibes and the food. I'm sure you can get higher quality cuts elsewhere, but that would probably come with a higher price. For what it is, we're always satisfied.

However, with my family, it's either a hit or miss and this time, it was a huge miss. I don't think they were fans of this spot and would prefer our other spot.
