I'm kinda surprised that I never made it in before the baby shower, because this spot is pretty close to home. Parking is easy with several lots around the area and also street parking out front of the brewery (if you're lucky enough to snag one). This place is huge! Super open concept and I can definitely see how they manage to host events here on a regular basis. Also love the vibe here and the string lights, it just makes everything feel cozy. They have lots of board games, corn hole, and a steel tip dart board for people to enjoy. They're also kid-friendly which is nice to note for future visits (sorry if you're one of those people who doesn't like kids at breweries, we're still rollin' up). Service was great while we were here as well. Their beer selections are solid and I enjoyed their hazy. They also have a cider or two on tap as well as a seltzer, if I'm remembering correctly. They have a good selection of canned wines as well. Overall this is a solid brewery and with it being close to home, I'm sure we'll be back a few times this summer!

I've attended weddings & events at this brewery and recently hosted my company holiday party here. The experience was amazing and the guy working the bar was super cool. I will be back for a beer and wouldn't hesitate to have another event here.

I guess Pint and Pie is also with the name of Holy Smokes Brewing. This brewery located where a…read morecouple other breweries were prior, Mother Fern and Pacific Brewing and Malting. I've had beers here a couple of times and I must say I liked the second time better. I liked the Oktoberfest beer that I had compared to some of the lagers offered here. Food here is super good as they specialize towards savory pot pies and sweet pies as well as macaroni and cheese. Steve got a delicious vegetable pot pie with a excellent arugula salad. I got the Caprese Macaroni and Cheese which was out of this world. So good! The sweet pies are quite good as well as I had a Key Lime slice of pie and Steve had a stout pie. Both pies were awesome! If you don't want to come here for the beer then definitely come here for the food.

We came on a Sunday right at opening, after what was one of their busiest weekends. I was slightly disappointed to be honest because they were out of basically everything. We got the last pies they had and even the last Diet soda. We took the only pies they had which was a beef and a veggie. Both of the pies were fantastic! The crust was great and they had an awesome flavor. I was disappointed to find out that the pies are not actually made by them on site, but I guess bought and shipped in. We wanted to try cider, but alas the prior group from the night before unfortunately drank everything they had. Overall we had a good experience but it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. I am looking forward to going back again to try some cider and their chicken pie! I will re-review them then!

I gotta bump up my rating for E9. It's become my most favorite brewery in Tacoma…read more I always love coming here and though I try to be fair and rotate and support all of the independently owned craft breweries in town I am always and consistently drawn to come back to E9. Their beers are just so, so good and so different compared to when I first had them when I moved here. So if I break out of the rotation it's almost always to come here. My latest beers here was the Choco Bliss which is a Imperial Stout loaded up with chocolate flavor. It's barrel aged and a real boozy one. This was one I haven't had previously so it was a real treat to get one of those! Another really good beer that I haven't had before until my last visit was the Brown's Point CDA which is a dark ale. This had nice bitter and malty flavors to it. You can also get some fantastic pizzas here and we have gotten many over the course of our visits here. Our last item we had to eat here wasn't a pizza but a stuffed Hungarian pepper with rice. It's considered an appetizer but for us...at least for the current situation it was like having a light lunch. The food here is great and even if you don't want a beer then definitely try out their pizzas!

They recently switched out the autumn seasonal pizza (my favorite but hey it's February) which made me sad but at the same time they introduced a stout called "Sad Wings" which left me a lot less sad. E9 has a super comfortable vibe and one of the best things about it is that -- with the exception of the Mariners being in the run up to the playoffs -- there are no screens. It's a place for conversations and getting connected which is exactly why they're the perfect place for hosting Bar Stories, a monthly storytelling event for everyone
