Called Alpine last night as the drain pipe of our HVAC unit is clogged causing our air not to work…read morein some of the hottest days of the year in the IE. They were quick to reply on Yelp. Originally had a plumber sent out from Alpine this morning which he did not have the correct equipment. Following the miscommunication on my part (Plumbing vs HVAC tech) the owner Vince personally called me and told me that he was sending out another tech in the next hour that had the correct HVAC equipment to get the pipe cleared. (He said the drain pipe is a grey area between Plumbing/HVAC as while it drains into the sewer, that the plumbers don't usually work with pipes that small.) Incredible service! And really appreciate the owner calling me to make it right. We'll certainly call Alpine back the next time that we need help.

The Alpine team helped me calling the Navien team to get the new part replaced through warranty so that's good value. I found out my water is very hard so lots of scum got accumulated which destroyed the water heater tank not able to heat up normally. To prevent his from happening again, I decided to install the Halo-5 water treatment system. The Alphine also managed to rework the pipping and make the installation of the Halo-5 with great care and efficiency! After the Halo-5 installation, Vince also helped flushing the water heater. While the flush is ongoing, he also helped me check my AC air filters as a courtesy. Before the maintenance, I was worried about the repair experience as I rarely have to worry about things like such and I'm very glad to say that the Alphine team has done an exceptional job! Thank you Vince, Edgar, Shawn & John again! This is the kind of team you would trust to get the job done professionally with a very friendly and polite manner!

I ended up having him put in a cleanout that he completed by the next morning. Turns out, I had a collapsed pipe under my slab. Booby showed me the video of it and got me a quote right away to address it. I felt the estimate was very fair and they even credited the clearing of the pipe and the addition of the cleanout against the major repair under my slab. He was back the next morning with a team of guys who fixed the issue within 2 days. They kept me informed of what was happening every step of the way. Bobby is in fact the nephew of the owner, Juan, who came out multiple times during the repair to ensure everything was going smooth. The owner even helped in cleaning the debris at the end of the job and took debris he wasn't even responsible for to the dump for me. This family=owned, local plumbing business made a stressful situation for me, turn out fantastic. Hi Speed Plumbing will now be our plumber forever. Thank you guys very much!

So after our cold snap in Febuary of 2026, our heater/AC unit wasn't working, when the technician…read morecame out, he immediately said the entire unit was bad due to the unit being too old, he claimed the evaporator was clogged, the blower motor squirrel cage bearings were bad and the Air filter was the wrong size, all with out a borescope or any kind of diagnosis. But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. Plus the air filter was dirty and all it was to blame was a contactor relay in the AC condenser which only cost us $30 plus a from Amazon. plus a new Filter for about $20 and we were up and running. I get business is slow but but to deliberately make a false claim it is shameful.

By Tuesday, José, Jessie, and Brad arrived around 9:00 a.m. to install our new 3-ton high-efficiency heat pump system. They kept me updated throughout the installation, answered my questions, and completed everything by about 5:00 p.m. Their professionalism, communication, knowledge, cleanliness, and attention to detail were outstanding. They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. If I could give Jason and Everyday Plumbing a 100 stars I defintely would!!!! Jason is HONEST, on time, professional, and his plumbing work is PERFECT! I had 3 different plumbers come out to give me quotes on a leaking valve in my uptairs bathroom shower wall that was leaking down into my garage. Jason was by FAR the most reasonably priced!!! Since the wall was going to have to be opened up I took that opportunity to re-tile my whole shower. When my tile guy showed up after Jason had fixed all the leaks and plumbing he even ranted and raved about how great his plumbing work was and they have never even met. They explained everything clearly, tested their work thoroughly before leaving, and documented the additional pipe issue they found so I could pass the information along to my landlord. I called Eddie for a hydrojetting after someone else had unsuccessfully attempted to snake my main…read moresewer line. Eddie was at my house in a couple hours. With his camera, he revealed a bunch of rocks and dirt in my main sewer line. Eddie and his brothers Pablo and Pedro opened up some concrete in front of my house and pulled all the rocks and dirt out of the line then shot a liner through to create a new pipe. They also installed a new 2 way cleanout in front of my house so I no longer had to use the old cleanout attached to the house. I have a decorative driveway and walkway and the brothers were very creative in minimizing damage to the decorative features. They had to do 2 excavations and kept the demolition to a minimum, even though it made it harder to access the pipe. I ended up paying 9k for them to excavate, remove damaged sections of pipe, remove rocks/dirt in the pipe, install a new cleanout, install 50' of new pipe liner, patch up the concrete, and then hydrojet all the house cleanouts at the end. The brothers were all very courteous and respectful and I'm glad I went with a family run company with little overhead.
