5/19/22- UNRESPONSIVE+ UNRELIABLE = UNPROFESSIONAL - and doesn't value your time. My home warranty assigned these people. They made an appointment and NO SHOW, NO CALL (TWICE) , I texted, called and left a message. No response, not even the next day. I called them, the young lady initially said they came by- they don't even know when they miss appointments. You'd think they would ensure I was serviced the next day since they didn't show up, nope. She rescheduled for two days later.the exact same thing. They didn't answer the phone, didn't respond to a text, didn't reply to an email. Be careful, everyday plumbing doesn't install tankless water heaters correctly and will not fix their errors. This business was sent for an American Homeshield insurance claim. They told me I needed a new water heater in December 2021 last year. I finally got the new heater installed in the middle of April 2022!! I had to pay $1000 extra for modifications to the installation (the cost of the heater was covered by insurance). Since the installation of the new tankless heater, it takes 4 minutes (I've timed it) for the shower in my master to heat up. It is now the end of May and I have called twice a week for 4 weeks to get the technician back to fix it. Still nothing!!! read more

Jason is my go to guy. The first time I called him, he was actually my second estimate. The first guy had quoted $300-$1000 to repair a leaky shower value, because he had to use a hammer to break the pipe. The guy said it might damage the rest of the pipe in the wall, in which case he'd have to tear open the wall and blah blah blah... You get the picture. I have never written any review on Yelp before but felt compel to do so after my bad experience. I chose Jason at Everyday plumber because of the overwhelming positive comments but am shocked at how my experience was so different than the others on Yelp. I had two sinks that were leaking and needed a new sink cartridge. With my limited experience with sinks and improper tools, I was unable to take the cartridge out myself. I therefore called Jason and asked him about his pricing. He told me he charged $70 per hour and that he started charging when he took out his tools to begin work. He indicated that he could give me a free estimate. Once Jason came out he said the problem was either a new washer or new cartridge tat needed to be replaced. He then quoted us $175 for both sinks. I asked him why the price was so high if it merely involved him removing the sink cartridge which would arguably not take him two and a half hours based on his hourly rate to do. He said tat the cost was for his travel time and "other" costs. Since my wife and I needed to have the sink fixed, we reluctantly agreed to the cost. After Jason got his tools from his vehicle and simply removed the knob and cartridge of one sink, he said it needed a new cartridge and that he would attempt to find it for us. After 5 minutes of work, he charged us $70 dollars and told us he would apply it towards the completion of the job. A month later, he never contacted us to complete the job and our sinks are still leaking. I would avoid this plumber despite what these other reviews say.
