Going in, I see they have tons of stock on the floor; from electric bikes, electric scooters and some skateboards and onewheels. I wish I remembered the employee's name but he was really helpful despite it being only him in the shop. He got my Onewheel order and we talked about accessories I wanted to buy. Unfortunately, the store didn't have any available for my model(they had a lot for the Pint and GT models). In the end, my son and I came out with smiles on our faces. I am DEFINITELY, coming back in the summer to pick up a new electric scooter and maybe a Onewheel Pint S for my son. Dandy told us she opened the shop back in 1998 right after graduating from UC Berkeley, and she's kept it going ever since. In today's world, when so many people just buy straight from brands online, it's amazing to see a brick-and-mortar shop like this still thriving. It's not easy, but it's clear how much she cares about her community and her customers. The shop itself is fantastic--great selection of shoes, clothes, hats, skateboard decks, trucks, and more. This time, I found another one and it was so perfect, I wore it out. The crazy part was that it was their last one and it was in my size. The guys here are chill and they were preparing for an upcoming art show, but even then, they were nice enough to let my bike in. Can lightning strike twice? It just did here.
