Most recently Timothy repaired damage on my mom's 2015 BMW Z4, including the passenger side rocker panel and front bumper area. The car came back looking absolutely brand new. The attention to detail, paint match, body lines, and finish quality were excellent. You honestly cannot tell the vehicle was ever damaged. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. I just got my car back from this place. The insurance company had totaled the car, but it looked to…read moreme like something mostly cosmetic that could be repaired. My car was a bit old, so it seemed to me mostly like a financial decision from the insurance company. I took it to DeLand Collision center after taking it to another place. Their estimate was lower and the people seemed friendlier, plus it came well recommended from my very trustworthy mechanic I've used over several years. They returned the car to me a week before their original estimate with the area looking better than when it was new. I asked them if they could help me fill out some paperwork from the DMV, which is necessary to get the vehicle back on the road and they were nice enough to help me with that, even though they could have said no. When they were done, I asked if they could keep the car there one extra day because my family was sharing a car between a few people and they happily accommodated. I could tell that the gentleman who worked on the vehicle was really proud of the work they did, he met me outside when I got there and went over the repair. You can tell when someone really takes pride in the work they do, and it showed on the result. I've owned a lot of cars over the years and had to unfortunately deal with collision work before. God forbid I have to go through more collision work again, but I'm taking it there.

In December, my Volkswagen GTI was repaired here, with over $4,000 worth of work listed on the invoice, including front-end repairs, cooling system work, air conditioning repairs, alignment, and wheel replacement. The vehicle was returned to me, and within one week the head gasket failed. Shortly afterward, my insurance company determined the vehicle was a total loss. While I cannot prove that every item listed on the invoice was not performed, the condition of the vehicle after the repairs left me with serious concerns about the quality and completeness of the work. After spending thousands of dollars, I expected the vehicle to be returned in a safe and reliable condition. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the situation was handled afterward. The shop advertises a warranty and states that they stand behind their repairs, but when I sought assistance regarding the mechanical failure that occurred immediately after the work was completed, I was given the runaround rather than meaningful support. In my experience, the warranty did not provide the protection that was represented. Additionally, the man working in the office alongside Laura was consistently disrespectful and unprofessional during my interactions with the business. He stated he completed the work himself and " knew there wasn't anything wrong " then proceeded to ask me " what's wrong " I gave him his tone of voice back stating " I'm not a mechanic but I can smell coolant " The shop revised their work and returned the car with me a second time/third time. Whenever I received the car back the 3rd and final time, I drove 12 miles before the coolant leaked completely out and blew the head gasket. Between the significant repair bill, the major engine failure shortly after the vehicle was returned, the lack of accountability, and the poor customer service, I cannot recommend this shop. I definitely didn't want to have this work done by the dealership after experiencing lengthy delays and weeks in the shop for the simplest repairs and service. My insurance company Progressive provided me with a quick response and evaluation and left it up to me to find the Body Shop of my choosing. After doing some research and making an appointment with Todd's Auto Body and after meeting Todd and Shelly I knew these guys were definitely the ones for the job. They are also RVer's so they understood I didn't want to leave my RV away from my home any longer than absolutely necessary. They ordered all the parts required to complete the work and met with the insurance adjuster prior to requesting I bring our MotorCoach to their shop for repairs- once everything was in place the work was completed in only a few days which is exactly what I was looking for.
