After a long hiatus, I have returned to one of my favorite bagel spots. The bagels are always soft and delicious. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The bagel shop offers a few tables inside and out. I am not a coffee drinker, so I appreciate the fountain soda. The service was ok. I was not familiar with the routine of getting my own cup after ordering, and I felt it was an inconvenience to the cashier to explain the process. Also, when asking questions about the menu, it was answered with a short curt tone. Otherwise the young lady making our food was pleasant and helpful.

The St. Augustine go to spot for bagels and treats. Great bagels, coffee, coffee cake, muffins and cannolis, not to mention fantastic service!

I've been here 3 times now and it is pretty solid. It's not the best bagels I've ever had but they are pretty good. The egg bagels taste fresh. The BEC bagel are also pretty good. The hamburger bagel was not our favorite. Overall, the bagels are good and taste fresh, but slightly pricey. Would recommend for a quick bagel in St. Augustine.

Had a very short window of time before I had to pick someone up, so I checked to see what wasn't too far away and to my surprise, Everything Bagel came up (hooray)! I knew exactly what I'd be getting: an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, a plain bagel to go for my kiddo. What I didn't know was that they also sold cannolis and macarons! That being said, I stopped in, made my order, plus added a cannoli and got everything to go. The store has had some updates since I was last in (new signage, and some updated decor inside, which was def.a plus). This place reminds me of a NY deli, they have everything from bagels with a schmear to bagel sandwiches. My order was ready in just a few minutes. When I got back to the parking lot where I had to pick someone up, I dug into my bagel with cream cheese. They def know how to make a bagel with schmear. There was a TON of cream cheese and you could tell the veggie cream cheese was chock full. The cream cheese was flavorful, creamy, and piled high! I haven't dug into the cannoli (YET), but super excited to. Pros: -Variety of homemade bagels -Homemade veggie cream cheese -Thick bagels -Flavor is delicious Cons: -None Tips: Parking is ample and super close to a few other gems in the area.

It's got that classic, no-frills, "hole-in-the-wall" charm that feels authentic amidst all the tourist spots. The outdoor seating area is a total win--it's perfect for people-watching with a breeze while you fuel up for a walk down St. George Street. I went with a classic plain bagel. The texture was spot on--chewy on the inside with that essential slight crunch on the outside. Sometimes bagel shops treat coffee as an afterthought, but the iced coffee here was smooth, bold, and served over plenty of ice. It stayed cold even in the Florida humidity. The line can look intimidating because the space is small, but the staff moves with impressive speed. I was through the line and outside at a table in less than 10 minutes. They've clearly mastered the "morning rush" flow. If you're visiting on a weekend, get there before 10:00 AM. They are known to sell out of certain bagel flavors

It was smooth, cozy, and somehow tasted like a hug but also woke me up like I had responsibilities. This was much needed after we landed from cold Chicago, like "hey girl"! Perfect balance of flavor and caffeine, not overly sweet, and actually tasted like real coffee (which is rare these days). If you're in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and stop here, you'll leave caffeinated, happy, and maybe a little motivated as well!

In 3 years, I've had only great food and coffee here, but it's the warm, thoughtful, human element that has kept me coming back and will keep me coming for years to come. We came in with 6 adults and 5 toddlers/kids, ready to enjoy breakfast, and instead we were met with some of the rudest behavior I've ever seen in a business. We sat outside, away from the few people inside. My $7 bagel came out burned, and although they remade it, they acted like doing their job was an inconvenience. Quiche was mediocre. I asked for an ice water to go along with my iced latte and the owner pointed to the fridge and said there's bottled water as if I was annoying him. He said they don't have a filter for the tap. How does a coffee shop not provide ice water? Get a filter! After we had finished eating, we took a quick picture of the kids in the swinging chair on the front porch. The male owner came to the doorway and snapped at us for being "too loud." I told him, "They're children. He is 1 years old." and he fired back, "Keep them under control." When I said he must not have kids, he actually scoffed and said "No," as if the idea itself was beneath him. I told him we'd never return, and his wife loudly said from behind the counter inside, "Good!" and "We lost a customer because of you all!" The level of pettiness and hostility was shocking -- especially after we'd already spent a significant amount of money there. This place is run by owners who clearly do not like families, do not understand hospitality, and do not treat customers with even basic respect. There are plenty of places in St. Augustine that are warm, welcoming, and kind. This is absolutely not one of them.
