This used to be the best bagel place! It has switched owners I think. The establishment looks and feels dirty. The bagels are still good. The staff is no longer a welcoming kind crew. And the prices are ridiculous. I was charged $16 for a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. When down the highway I can get a better bagel with the same stuff for half that price. They microwave their eggs and keep adding I. The weird money grabbers like macarons. This is no longer a clean small bagel shop. read more

Everything Bagel is all that it's cracked up to be! Lots of bagels. Lots of cream cheese. Lots of lox and corn beef. It's like stepping back in time into the NYC of old. The sandwiches are awesome and the staff are friendly. They have deli meat and cheese on sale as well as tasty spreads. We randomly chose Everything Bagel based off of proximity to our condo and previous yelp reviews. We ordered a dozen bagels and have enjoyed all of the different flavors we picked. The lady working was provided excellent service to us and was patient as we chose from the different flavors and selected our flavored cream cheese. While I can understand the owner's frustration during these times, my previous review clearly did not take away the tastiness of these bagels. If you are not of high risk or don't care if you get/spread Covid, you can make the personal choice to go into this shop to get these great bagels. I am not out to destroy a business. However, if you or someone close to you is of high risk, I would not recommend entering this shop. Numerous other businesses have large, clearly posted signs that you cannot enter the building without a mask. Unfortunately, while I was here, the majority of the patrons did not have masks on at all, some (not all) of the staff did not have them on correctly (covering the nose, there is another photo on Yelp of this occurring) and to add to it there is no ventilation (ex. door open) in this small shop. I would be happy to update this review should there be clear policies/signage regarding mask wearing. I simply cannot give a 5 star review to a business that I can no longer safely visit. read more

The food was good and generous. I shared a bacon sausage egg and cheese bagel and a honey almond cream cheese bagel and both were delicious! The restaurant has outdoor seating and a great vibe. Lots of customers coming and going so it must be a crowd favorite too. I'll be back! read more

I visited Everything Bagel on a recent trip to St. Augustine. It was so good I had to go twice during my four day trip. Food: Overall, the food was really great. We went on Christmas Eve and by the time we got there our favorite bagels had sold out but we still enjoyed our back up selections. We went again on the 27th and got to try our favorites which were yummy! Friday turkey special sandwich: I tried this sandwich on the first trip and it was incredible. All the flavors blended so well together and the veggies were incredibly fresh. The pesto aioli was so flavorful but not overwhelming. I enjoyed this so much that I got another one to take home on my second visit and it was just as delicious as the first one. Salt bagel: for the true salt lover. This is one of the better salt bagels I've had. Lots of salt on top that doesn't fall off easily. BEC on and everything bagel: getting the BEC on an everything bagel is a must. My boyfriend got this on a plain bagel during our first trip and on an everything on the second trip. He said that the everything bagel made all the difference. Service: service was great considering how busy they were on Christmas Eve. There was a long line when we walked in but the staff was quick and we received our food in no time. Ambiance: the store had a traditional deli look. Cases displaying meat, cheese, and baked goods. They had a nice condiment and coffee station set up with much more condiment selections than most places. The tables were very unique and aesthetically pleasing. There was outdoor seating as well but it was too cold to take advantage of it. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. He Said: I'd like to think we caught them on a bad day, but we had three different bagels and all of them had the same issue: cakey/dense and mildly undercooked dough. They were, unfortunately, not good and given the ratings here we were quite surprised. Maybe it's us and everyone else is right, but here we are. She Said: I know it's not easy to make great bagels, especially at scale, but I was so disappointed since I hadn't had a bagel in several months. Like He said the dough just wasn't good. They also got the order wrong (I asked for pumpernickel and got plain), but we could have checked before we left so that doesn't go in to our star rating. We were in town from Orlando for a wedding and decided to stop at this bagel shop before heading home.... I'm upset that there is not one in Orlando. Highly recommend this bagel spot if you are in town. The bagel was soooo good, it taste like NY bagels! The ice coffee was really good, and the hash browns also. I was visiting St Augustine for New Years and stopped in at Everything Bagel on my way out of town. It's an unassuming small "diner" with a friendly hometown feel. I ordered a 2 egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel (seemed fitting) and added avocado. It was easy to tell the bagel was fresh. It was fluffy/soft on the inside and lightly toasted/chewy on the outside. The egg to cheese to bagel ratio was perfect and all the sandwich needed was a little hot sauce. The food is simple but delicious and done right. And the staff makes you feel like family. read more

Seating is limited in this tiny spot but the selection is NOT! There were several different types of bagels along with donuts, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches/paninis. This is where you want to go to get bagels. The bagel breakfast sandwiches are generously sized and reasonably priced compared to other bagel shops I've been to. Love the classic bagel shop vibes here and the staff is great. My go to order is a honey wheat bagel toasted with egg, cheese, and sausage; sometimes when I'm feeling frisky I'll add cream cheese. Tried for the first time with my S/O. Fairly busy, to me at least, on a Thursday. The space is very intimate/comfortable. It makes you feel very welcome. If you don't want to sit inside there are a couple seats outside. Anyways...Amazing how they just kept churning the customers out! It was so fast. Friendly staff(all smiling & acknowledging us), quality food, great time. We probably waited no more than 5 minutes for our order. They are very generous with portions. I ordered a Croissant with Lox, Egg whites, and Gouda and they loaded me up! It was all delicious. For a reasonable price! Everything Bagel is a gem in St. Augustine that I can't believe I've been missing. 10/10 would recommend. *They have a menu that offers way more than bagels. I tried this bagel shop quite some time ago and since I was in the area, I decided to see if anything has changed. Today, me and my friend decided to try their bagel and Lox. Now, you can just get the bagel / lox for $6.95 but if you want all the fixings; capers, red onion and tomato, it's just a dollar more. I had mine on a toasted everything bagel, my friend's was on an onion bagel. The bagel was delicious unfortunately, the large amount of cream cheese and small amount of lox (two thin slices) overpowered the star of the show, which should have been the lox. Since I do not eat lox very often, when I decide to have it has to be the perfect ratio of each component, not a mouthful of cream cheese. They also stated it was a platter but the bagel came out fully assembled. So, the bagels are delicious because I believe, the owner is from N.Y. and we know how to make bagels. Again, we enjoyed it and would definitely go back, but no so sure I would spend the money on lox and cream cheese again. It should be noted that everyday after 2pm, bagels are 50%! read more

Bagels are excellent but the prices have skyrocketed over the last year, almost a 100% price increase in less than a year! I used to make the trip from Nocatee to buy a dozen bagels per week but no more. Prices have increased from $12 to almost $24 a dozen including a new service charge of about 4% because I used a credit card. That's highway robbery! Does not seem as though they want to sell bagels in bulk anymore. They are not my go to bagel joint anymore! read more
