The staff was very friendly and they greet you as you walk in and they helped us with recommendations on guns and stuff! I have mixed feelings about Evike. Most times I go in person I deal with the same issues every time. For starters, every time I come in I go on a weekday in the morning when they open, it's usually empty, maybe a few people will be browsing. Even with it being empty it can still take time to actually get help. Make sure to get a number immediately if you know you will be making a purchase. If it gets busy and you haven't got a number you could be waiting for a long time. Even if there is one number ahead of you, you could be waiting 30 mins or longer. Now depending on who you get to help you and answer your questions, you will either get a great experience or a not so pleasant one. It's really just rolling the dice. They could either be extremely helpful and nice and enthusiastic that you are shopping with them, they could be knowledgeable and answer all your questions. OR, they could act like they are annoyed to be helping you which overall gives you a feeling of not wanting to be there. I was helped by Jessie I believe his name was and he was awesome, super helpful and just had a great attitude. Quality wise I personally have never had an issue with anything I have purchased at Evike. As long as you do your research and purchase good quality brands you should be fine. One of the main problems I have almost every time I come in is that most times if you ask to see a specific gun, attachment, or piece of gear, it can be a hassle to actually see the product. Most times they will say it's in the back and that they will bring it out for you but then never return. If I am purchasing something expensive I need to be able to actually hold the product and test it in some way. Evike used to be more lenient in the past with this kind of stuff but I feel like policy's must of changed or something. Make sure if they are building a cart of items for you that you double check everything is there at checkout, there are plenty of times they will forget an item or two if you are buying many items. There has been multiple times I have been unsure between two items and wanted to see both of them so I can better choose. For example if there are two different scopes I want to see but I'm not sure which one to buy. They will say they will get it out for you but then all they do is add it to your cart. Then they call your name to come up and pay and have every item on the cart. It gets annoying at checkout I have to explain that I wasn't sure on half of the items here if I even wanted to purchase, no one showed me or let me decide, and now I'm feeling rushed at checkout to decide if I want to buy the item or not. Overall I like evike but I just think it's a bit unorganized at times and there seems to be plenty of employees who could be walking the floor more and engaging with customers and helping. Maybe they have other tasks they need to do but there's a lot of times they are chatting it up and laughing while multiple people have been in there store for almost two hours just sitting and waiting. If they still let you test shoot guns or hell if they even just had house airsoft rifles in the range to shoot to pass the time that would be awesome and I wouldn't be as annoyed and impatient waiting around there. read more

I ordered a p365 air gun and after receiving it a week later I experienced an issue with it after 2 days of firing it. However this is likely just Sig making not good air gun magazines and not evike's fault. When I called the customer support, they picked up really quickly and were extremely helpful, despite the fact that I called once 5 minutes before the call center closing time. Kevin and the other customer support agents were incredibly polite, understanding, and helpful, and not only offered to send a replacement magazine for free, but accepted a returned air gun that had already gone through a couple of mags. stellar customer service read more

Absolute garbage shipping lead times. I verified the item I wanted was in stock, and ordered the morning of 8-26-22. It is now the end of business day on 8-30-22, and after two phone calls and an email, I still have not received a shipping confirmation. The item is in stock in Southern California, I live in Northern California - I ordered other items online form another vendor the same day from Minnesota, and I already received them YESTERDAY, 8-29-22. I could understand if this was the middle of the COVID outbreak in 2020, and they were understaffed. However, in August of 2022, there is no reasonable excuse for delays of this magnitude. It is abundantly apparent that Evike is understaffed, or if they are well staffed, online sales fulfillment is not even remotely a priority for them. I had an absolutely wonderful experience last weekend Christmas shopping for my nephews. I was anxious at first but it was very easy to check in and shop around. I came here without any knowledge of these airsoft guns and Scott helped me pick out a gun that was just the right fit and weight for my nephew. Have not been to evike since 2020, used to be a great store, friendly helpful staff and were willing to help you out, especially when it was not busy. Went in on 5/10/2025, this place has gone down hill fast. Could not test fire guns, could not use discount codes. The guy helping us was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He was being a C**T, I asked when they changed policies because it had been awhile, his response "Years ago!" with the most attitude I have ever seen. He made us wait an hour to get a gun when there was less than 10 people in the store. I did not get his name as he did not provide it and I assume its because he knew he was being a jerk. Then as we left he had forgot to do part of his job and chased us out the exit to get us to sign a damn form. He could not even do is job properly and wanted to act like a C**T. Trash-ass company. The 45-day warranty is a joke. I purchase a brand new $530 Daniel Defense rifle with ICS mods. The gun worked 2-3 times then stopped. Wouldnt even register. Evike asked me to check the connections at the motor. I did and they were barely hanging on by a thread. the connections are very thin and brittle. The negative was actually about to snap off. I purchased the gun last year in October. Took it out of the box and played with it 2 times and put it away for months. It's practically brand new. Even sent pictures. Evike doesn't even have replacement parts for these guns and it will take months to get and they will probably cost half of what the gun cost is. The guy on the phone just kept saying you are 200 days out of your warranty window. I spent over $1k with this company and they won't even help me out. I could understand if the gun was used all year and looked like shit and beat up, but it's brand new. read more

After almost 3 months waiting on a box mag that has had issues at customs I've had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with any American ordered products. After repeated interactions with customer service, all of which I had to initiate I've repeatedly received the answer "nothing we can do" with a product that is commercially available in Canada. Other companies have been proactive with communication, reached out to the shipping company and customs, and ensure their product made it through the product delivery, absolutely not the case and it has been like pulling teeth just to get a response never mind any sort of assistance, if you are Canadian DO NOT order from evike. Do not go there on the weekend or expect to waste at least 1 1/2 hr waiting! First you had to sign in and wait for something to help you if you need help. That took about one hour. Then when you wanted to buy something, you have to wait another 20-30 mins just so they can get it from the back and ring you up. The dude that helped me was pushy and wasn't very helpful. He ensured that the battery i have will work for the new gun I purchased. Well, guess what? It wasn't! Then I went back another day, waited another hour and was told I needed to purchase a connector for it. Ok....that took another 20 mins again just to pay for it. I'm so over this place. read more

I've come to Evike several times in the past and each time it seems like their customer service gets worse and worse. I understand that they're a superstore and they get quite busy especially on the weekend, but it shouldn't lower your customer service level. I came in this past Sunday to get a few things on my AAP Carbine build as well some advice on what I should go with. I asked the salesperson if I could take a look at a rifle that had a 15 inch or higher barrel length since that was what I originally wanted to build at first. He seemed annoyed and responded with him having to look it up despite the fact that there were several behind him. He was dismissive about it and asked me what items I wanted and said that I could pick and choose to send items back. I gave him a list of items and went back to look things up online to see what they had in stock. Eventually the items were at the checkout and I looked at it and let the cashier know that I would be sending a few things back as well as gathering some other parts as well. He understood and had me stand off to the side to decide. I walked back to the laptops they had on the tanks and started to select a few more parts to grab as the build wasn't panning out like I had wanted. Eventually I was done with the selection and was ready to pay for everything. One of the salespeople asked if I had an AR tool to finish the build but I did not. He made suggestions on a few and I ended up going with the cheapest one since I wasn't sure if I was going to be building more or not. I would have given a 1/5 for the experience because of the first salesperson as it would not have been a good experience for a first time customer of the store, but the cashier, and other 2 salespeople (I came in with a friend who was trying to get some gear) helped bring up the rating. I tried to fit the external parts that night but come to find out the new part I bought was broken and was missing a few pieces, and another part was incompatible with the build. I'll need to return the parts but it could've been avoided if I was advised on the build. Will give an update later if the experience was better... read more

Drove out here on the strength of a fellow "air-soft parent" that claimed they got 2 guns complete with scopes, ammo and protective gear for under $100. Based on that claim, I was eager to make the drive to save a bag of money for my son's Christmas present request. Since we are not new to airsofting or the costs, let me say the quality of gun my son wanted was already well over $200 - by itself - no scope, no protective gear! So pricing depends on "your level" in the game. I will say the store is wide open and spacious. Good parking. Once inside, pick a number and you can use their computers to pre-look up pricing while you wait. Once they call your number a rep will help answer your questions and I think you can even try out some of the guns in the indoor range on site. Our rep was extremely knowledgeable and even knew the best places to go and shoot, and what gear was recommended / not recommended for a 12year old based on the places he would use them. Oh and they seem to have a great return policy which I think is lacking at some of these places.It was worth the drive for us. read more

It's always a very cool and interesting experience with this family of workers at the Evike Antioch Outpost. This past Saturday, I was having a lot of issues with my M4 platform Polarstar Jack Config. while at Gamepod Combat Zone. I just walked in and asked for some help. Niko and Lucas stepped up immediately and helped make everything work again with some teching and they taught me a thing or two that I hadn't learned previously. Honestly speaking, the whole tech and sales team had a subtle say with the issues and brought up very funny comments that made my day and also emphasized some extremely helpful points that made me start thinking about upgrades for the future. Im happy to say that everything worked out thanks to all of them. Furthermore, I will be considering upgrading soon with my setup. To everyone trying to purchase at this location, they really care about the players and have many recommendations that I've already considered. I just wish the Evike Superstore would send more stock to this location. As of Saturday, their selves were pretty bought out of the basic necessities (tracer bbs, bbs in general, magazines, grenade pouches, CO2, grenades) the list goes on. But I understand how logistics work so I would expect to see this change soon. I prefer to go to a local store rather than dealing with shipping mishaps like most everyone else trying to buy online from Evike. I am kind of bias because I have had many issues in the past with online orders and RMAs occur before from the main store. So PLEASE.... PLEASE RESTOCK THIS LOCATION FOR EVERYONE IN NORCAL!!!! Ah, but therein lies the rub. How do you find that gun when you can't explain it? Do you google "cool airsoft gun?" If you do, you're gonna have a bad time. Even if you make it to a decent website you are likely to have a bad time. You need to make it to Evike. You need to talk to Kail. Kail will guide you to the holy grail of airsoft guns, whatever that may be for you, and he will do it honestly too. Let me give you a straight up thing this dude said to my face via the phone: I'm buying a sniper rifle, I bought other shit already, but I'm buying this and I'm asking how to add the scope and the bipod to the cart. This dude tells me that I should buy a regular scope instead of spending money on the airsoft scope. Now, if his bosses read this review and in any way throw shade or castigate him for that then they are irredeemable because, as a consumer, that moment made me a lifelong customer. Kail could have made an extra 150 bucks or whatever on a scope and bipod but instead his focus was on making sure I got the best equipment at the best price and that I had a great shopping experience. Kail fucking killed it bro. I purchased an airsoft gun as a gift. The person had to wait until warmer weather to take it out to the range. First time used, a part broke. Slightly embarrassing, right? Evike won't repair or replace it as it's over 45 days. But they do offer repairs starting at $50 per hour. For what these guns cost, they should at least last more than one round at the range, and the company should replace obviously defective items. This is the best airlift store in the country pretty much. The place is HUGE! do your research on what you want before coming in to save time. We come here a lot. Yeah there is a number system and it can take some time to get served IF you come during peak hours. NO! THE STAFF IS NOT IN THE BACK JERKING EACH OTHER OFF MAKING YOU WAIT. Be Patient. If you come here at peak hours expect to wait. Simple as that. Live with it. It doesn't make them bad or doesn't mean they deserve 1 star. Just know that when they are serving you they will spend as much time as you need to make sure you are getting the right equipment. no matter how long that takes No i won't tell you when the best time to come in. I will keep that secret. We have been here 6 times already and the longest I waited was maybe 10 minutes. Most of the time my number is the next one to be called Their return policy is pretty good. Shop with confidence. Just ask if the item you are purchasing was returned. We found some damage on 1 item most likely from the person who returned the item. But Evike were very apologetic and did not hesitate to accept the item back for another. read more

Evike has got some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. If you don't call an email them regularly, they can take MONTHS to handle even small issues. Over the last few years, I haven't had a single order go smoothly. It's time for Evike to get replaced as the major US distributor/retailer. If Evike can't clean house by the end of 2023 and provide even a basic level of quality with merchandise handling and customer service, then I suggest a boycott of the business. They're so bad that at this point, even if they are the only US distributor for certain companies, I still find it easier and more time and cost efficient to buy certain products through back channels, because I know that it'll be safer than placing an order with Evike. read more

It's a big store, but most of the merchandise I'm not familiar with, there's a lot of gun looking stuff, but I'm not very familiar with, but I go in the store to buy stuff for fishing and they have quite a lot of fishing reels that are pretty good, but the fishing rods are okay, nothing special like the fishing reels that they have. I went in there for some fluorocarbon fishing line, they have it, but not enough for me to pick what I wanted. For the average fishermen, it's fine, but for some fishermen like me, I'm a little to picky about the stuff that I buy, so go figure! read more

I did not know that they had moved to Alhambra from San Gabriel Blvd., but I guess the hubby knew. It was still on the way home, so that worked out. Evike is in a huge warehouse on Mission Road near the intersection of Fremont. Here are some tips: 1) Take a number when you walk in. That's how they roll. You can walk around browsing at everything in the meantime. 2) Check in with yelp and you get a free Evike patch for your tactical vest.
