Went and seen Beetlejuice Beetlejuice , the chicken quesadillas were very good and so were the wings . The Beetlejuice drink was way to sour in my opinion but all in all great place !

The "Fancy Grilled Cheese" is not so fancy. Should be called crackers and cheese

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is definitely not going to make it. I don't even know where to begin. I'm all about 2nd chances but 3 times is just too many. This visit is where I have to draw the line. First off, one of our reclining seats was broken so they moved us down to the only open seats. Unfortunately, one of those reclining seats was also broken as well as the tray table on another but we had no other options. The dine-in experience was awful start to finish. You have to order food on an app which is super primitive. Beware to people with food allergies because you cannot give special instructions whatsoever. You can't even specify that you don't want tomatoes on a sandwich. You pay when you order and tip ahead of time which I would suspect is because once you realize how bad the food is, it's too late. I ordered the "fancy grilled cheese" which turns out isn't so fancy. The bread or whatever it is, is more like a flatbread that was as hard as a rock like a cracker. There's a tomato jelly which sounded interesting but did not go well with the cheeses. The cheese didn't melt well and when combined with the jelly made a clumpy slimy weird texture in my mouth that grossed me out and I couldn't eat it. It came with fries but they didn't give us any ketchup or napkins. You don't have a server or a call button so you can't ask for anything you might need. I was in the furthest upstairs theatre so I first went to the little bar nearest the theatre but nothing and no one were there but a huge mess of empty glasses, pizza boxes, and popcorn all over the floor which was apparently the aftermath of a party that no one bothered to clean up after. Since there were no employees anywhere I walked all the way down to the ticket taker downstairs to ask. I waited on him as he went to the kitchen to get it. When he came back I said man my grilled cheese is pretty rough, I really don't think I'm going to be able to eat it because it's so hard. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders... Wow, that's some amazing service. My son had the soft pretzel sticks which were also as hard as a rock and the kids chicken strips which have some weird seasoning on them that leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth. Chicken had a weird texture too. He wouldn't eat them. We ate the fries even though they were cold from waiting so long for ketchup. If you want a refill on your bottomless drink by the way, you have to leave the theatre to get it yourself from the self serve station and miss out on those minutes of the movie. I'm left wondering who exactly we tipped other than the food runner because that's the only actual service we got. We spent $47 on food and had to get dinner after we left. I will never go back and I will be sure to spread the word on our experience as well as the complete disregard by employees. Terribly disappointed

From beginning to end the experience at Evo Dallas was disappointing. It was completely filthy and smelled horrible. The trash cans throughout the entire building were overflowing, staff members were standing around on their phones and the food was less than mid. We have been to Evo Southlake and enjoyed our time there but unfortunately, the Dallas location falls short. Also, the tickets and food are overpriced. The theaters are small, the sound does not give you the experience you'd hope for...overall I recommend visiting another theater/arcade.

    Amber D.

Visited this movie theater/arcade spot in Addison, Texas, and it was a solid experience. The location is great, with plenty of nearby restaurants. We were there for a birthday party and rented one of the private rooms--although it was a bit small, it fit our group just fine. The pizza was pretty good, and both the drinks and service were nice. I do wish the arcade area was bigger with more game options for kids, and the bowling alley could be a bit larger, too. Didn't get to try the theaters this time, but overall, a cool place. I'd give it a 6/10. However the kids had a blast and that's all that matters.

Evo is absolutely amazing!!! I love that the popcorn is bottomless same with the soda. Make sure to come on a Tuesday night, that's when they do $5 movies. This is my new movie spot.

    Bartender hard at work!
    Foodie L.

Not sure if this was a one time thing or what. We scanned the QR Code to order food and drinks from our bowling lane. We have been here before and everything came to our lane. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of food or drink I looked over at the bartender was was just sitting and talking to a co-worker. I had to go over to her and ask where are drinks were, she then rolled her eyes then slowly walked over to the printer to retrieve our drinks, handed me all 4 of them to walk back by myself while she goes back to her coworker and says "anyways, where was I?" I then walk over to where the food was and asked how do I my food that I ordered? He seems confused so I tell him what I got and he starts to make it, meanwhile I have to walk to the other counter to retrieve a popcorn and soda I ordered. When returning to the previous counter the worker was talking to the manager about how he makes what I ordered, simple ice cream sandwich, so I ask her why our food and drinks were not delivered to our lane. She says we don't have anyone to serve it today, well, that's great and all but you need to put a sign up stating that fact so people aren't waiting around all day, just to not be served. I also would definitely not left any kind of tip if I knew I'd be walking around the whole inside to fetch my order and talk to a worthless manager. We will not be returning. Do better! This was 7/14/2024 @ 2:30pm

I literally go here almost every Tuesday now for their Tuesday movie deals, but it's such a nice experience, the movie theater is so clean and brand new, the food selection is definitely on point, and the staff is always so friendly!

    "Bowling" area
    Zak H.

When online, no where does it state that the "bowling" is nothing more than a 10' lane with pins on strings. While there's nothing wrong with mini bowling, charging $160 for two lanes for two hours is wildly more expensive than so many actual bowling options available. Our group of 8 was wildly disappointed to say at the very least. Most definitely will not be back.

This place is huge with other fun things you can do there like an arcade/bar/bowling. I haven't had a chance to do those but maybe someday... For me the food and the service has always been great, I usually get the same thing every time which is girl dinner: Chicken Caesar salad +fries + water and then maybe sometimes a dessert. This last time made me sad because the food was just not up to its usual standard. I was missing parts of my salad which were the crunchy parm crisps that tie the whole salad together! I searched for them in the darkness but alas...there were none. My fries were lukewarm at best, still crunchy and salty, but usually they're piping hot and fresh. When I tried to order dessert, the server came to my seat and told me all you had were the churros, so I cancelled my order because I just was not feeling that. I figured it was due to the fact that they had a private party, which I suspected from the beginning as the parking was packed, which for a Tuesday night, I was surprised to see since I usually have my days off during the week and have never seen this. All in all, I prefer this theater over other major chains like Cinemark or Regal just because they have always been consistent, I feel like they have a very diverse menu, and the place is always clean with comfy recliner seats. Oscar did reach out to me when I sent in my concerns over my last experience when they asked for a review, he said he wants to make sure my next visit is an enjoyable one, which I appreciated. One bad food experience isn't going to deter me from coming back as I said, this is not the norm. Mortal Kombat 2 is out and I will be watching that with my boyfriend and hopefully this time we get to experience those cute couches and the food service that I know and love. I still recommend this theater to my friends and I will be back.

It did not take long at all for our order, but I will say there were only a few of us in the theater for this particular show. We tried their fried chicken sandwich, cheese pizza, and bottomless soda. The fried chicken sandwich was great. Perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The toppings for the chicken chicken sandwich sounded a little strange, but they worked really well together and had a delicious flavor. The pizza was really not to our liking at all. It was thicker crust and my wife did not care for the flavor really. We never did figure out how to get a diet Coke refill.

My review focuses on the different types of seating and the greatness of online ordering. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Theater, Return) Atmosphere - Upon entering, you'll find a huge concession stand in the middle complete with movie candy and snacks to entice you as you make your way to order popcorn. There's an arcade on the right, and another concession stand for ordering more food along with tons of seating. If you order ahead, you can pick up your concessions here (see below for more details). 1 Star. Service - I'm going to focus on the Cinemark app. Who needs Moviefone when I can use the app for everything? I can select a theater, choose a movie, choose my seat, and even order concessions. Seriously, kudos to the Cinemark team, I show up at movie time, pick up my popcorn and concession that I ordered online, and head to my movie. No stress/wait, just time saved. 1 Star. Theater - Not all screens are the same. Here's a breakdown of what to expect: 1. IMAX - It's IMAX Digital - not a full-blown IMAX experience, but still good. The IMAX screen is dedicated to one side. It has its own concession stand, but it's never open. Finally, these are regular seats - no recliners. 2. XD - This is Cinemark's best experience. Huge floor to wall screen with reclining seats. There are also a few DBox seats which are more immersive (and expensive). There are two XD screens at this location. 3. 2D Digital - This is Cinemark's standard screen. They have multiple screens that vary in size, and they all have reclining seats. If you're not sure what experience your movie is showing on, check the website or app. Most blockbuster movies will be shown in IMAX and XD opening weekend, then will move to the smaller 2D Digital screens. Expect to pay about $50 for 2 people and concessions. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I really like the convenience of selecting a movie and buying it online along with my concessions. I'm also a Movie Club member (check Cinemark for details as pricing varies by location) and buying/refunding tickets and concessions are super easy. 1 Star.

I purchased our seats online a few minutes before deciding we'd take in a late show. I was actually concerned a bunch of people would be dressed to the nines since it was Devil Wears Prada and I was not changing out of my loungewear for this outing so I was thrilled that the 10p Plano crowd was not "after date" show dressed up, just a totally casual Saturday evening crowd which set me at ease.
