I came here for a private event and overall had a pleasant time. When I walked in I was a little unsure about where I was going or what to do, however most folks would start at the kiosk to purchase your ticket and then go to the counter to purchase your items. What took me by surprise is that everything is basically self serve - they hand you a cup and you fill it, same for popcorn and adding butter. The theater had wider seats (always nice to see) that reclined. It could be that I have short people problems so when I reclined I felt like I was laying too far back making it difficult to watch and enjoy the movie. However they offer a full menu and adult drinks that can be ordered at your seat and brought to you. However this is more than just a movie theater - there is also an arcade and other entertainment. This is great for a date night, a birthday, a corporate event or just wanting to splurge on yourself! read more

Terrible service!!! To say the waiters were absent would be an understatement! The Bartender was past RUDE!! Additionally to make things worse the drink he made, which I ordered a margarita was made incorrectly. Unfortunately there was no way to contact the bartender once he dropped the drink off. The food was served cold, which made the wait for additional food even longer! And they brought out the meal in pieces. Additionally, the condiments I requested on two separate occasions I never received, and for some unknown reason, they just kept bringing me ketchup, which... I'M ALLERGIC TO TOMATOES!!! WTH!! Then trying to catch the waiters to get the correct condiments for the food was damn near impossible and finally I just gave up. Terrible experience!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is definitely not going to make it. I don't even know where to begin. I'm all about 2nd chances but 3 times is just too many. This visit is where I have to draw the line. First off, one of our reclining seats was broken so they moved us down to the only open seats. Unfortunately, one of those reclining seats was also broken as well as the tray table on another but we had no other options. The dine-in experience was awful start to finish. You have to order food on an app which is super primitive. Beware to people with food allergies because you cannot give special instructions whatsoever. You can't even specify that you don't want tomatoes on a sandwich. You pay when you order and tip ahead of time which I would suspect is because once you realize how bad the food is, it's too late. I ordered the "fancy grilled cheese" which turns out isn't so fancy. The bread or whatever it is, is more like a flatbread that was as hard as a rock like a cracker. There's a tomato jelly which sounded interesting but did not go well with the cheeses. The cheese didn't melt well and when combined with the jelly made a clumpy slimy weird texture in my mouth that grossed me out and I couldn't eat it. It came with fries but they didn't give us any ketchup or napkins. You don't have a server or a call button so you can't ask for anything you might need. I was in the furthest upstairs theatre so I first went to the little bar nearest the theatre but nothing and no one were there but a huge mess of empty glasses, pizza boxes, and popcorn all over the floor which was apparently the aftermath of a party that no one bothered to clean up after. Since there were no employees anywhere I walked all the way down to the ticket taker downstairs to ask. I waited on him as he went to the kitchen to get it. When he came back I said man my grilled cheese is pretty rough, I really don't think I'm going to be able to eat it because it's so hard. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders... Wow, that's some amazing service. My son had the soft pretzel sticks which were also as hard as a rock and the kids chicken strips which have some weird seasoning on them that leaves a nasty after taste in your mouth. Chicken had a weird texture too. He wouldn't eat them. We ate the fries even though they were cold from waiting so long for ketchup. If you want a refill on your bottomless drink by the way, you have to leave the theatre to get it yourself from the self serve station and miss out on those minutes of the movie. I'm left wondering who exactly we tipped other than the food runner because that's the only actual service we got. We spent $47 on food and had to get dinner after we left. I will never go back and I will be sure to spread the word on our experience as well as the complete disregard by employees. Terribly disappointed read more

A cool place to do arcade for sure! Great variety of games. I reserved bowling online and it wasn't "REAL" bowling. Pins held by a string. Don't know if they advertised that on the site or not. I didn't see it. We did receive a refund without an issue. The staff were kind and communicated well! Atmosphere definitely family friendly. I would rather go to the location in Southlake it's huge! But not a bad experience. I didn't visit the movies, maybe I will come back to try it! read more

From beginning to end the experience at Evo Dallas was disappointing. It was completely filthy and smelled horrible. The trash cans throughout the entire building were overflowing, staff members were standing around on their phones and the food was less than mid. We have been to Evo Southlake and enjoyed our time there but unfortunately, the Dallas location falls short. Also, the tickets and food are overpriced. The theaters are small, the sound does not give you the experience you'd hope for...overall I recommend visiting another theater/arcade. read more

One of the worst movie experiences I've ever had. We stopped in early to get an app and some wine at the bar, and the bartender served us cold nachos and warm white wine in dirty cups. It sounded like the audio was only coming out of half of the speakers, so the main characters were drowned out by the background music. Visited this movie theater/arcade spot in Addison, Texas, and it was a solid experience. The location is great, with plenty of nearby restaurants. We were there for a birthday party and rented one of the private rooms--although it was a bit small, it fit our group just fine. The pizza was pretty good, and both the drinks and service were nice. I do wish the arcade area was bigger with more game options for kids, and the bowling alley could be a bit larger, too. Didn't get to try the theaters this time, but overall, a cool place. I'd give it a 6/10. However the kids had a blast and that's all that matters. read more

So I went on a holiday weekend and it was pretty quiet for the most part. I will go over each portion of the venue. Movies- The theater was ok, the room I was in wasn't stadium seating which is good for some people that don't like feeling like they walked a minute to get into their seats. They have two different seats, the regular reclining single seats and the lounge two seaters. The regular seats are general seating and you can order via a QR code on the table. The lounge seaters are premium seating and cost more and generally come with a waitstaff. After seeing what the lounge seating was like (it wasn't couch style rather two seats that had a moveable arm rest and was too close to the screen) I went back and got a refund and sat in a regular seat. The service was good but I did have an issue when it came to how I would order in the case that I wanted a refill of a bottomless drink since there was no wait staff and the food was brung to you. Arcade- the arcade was ok, it had some good games, similar to what you would see at the Dave and Busters and Main Event, but it didn't have games you'd see in a Cidercade or Free Play. There is a physical game card that you use and if you need cash you can get a cash card you can use to buy the game card. The prize station left a little to be desired, there wasn't much I was interested in. Bowling- I didn't do bowling but if you're expecting the big lanes like at amf or main event, that won't happen. They are small mini lanes with mini pins. I was surprised they even had that available . I am giving four stars for the convenience and the food but with the competition from AMC, Strike and Reel, Main Event, D&B, etc I'd say EVO needs to step it up. I say convenient cuz I live down the street from the location but still I'd say there are better multi entertainment options available. read more

Not sure if this was a one time thing or what. We scanned the QR Code to order food and drinks from our bowling lane. We have been here before and everything came to our lane. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of food or drink I looked over at the bartender was was just sitting and talking to a co-worker. I had to go over to her and ask where are drinks were, she then rolled her eyes then slowly walked over to the printer to retrieve our drinks, handed me all 4 of them to walk back by myself while she goes back to her coworker and says "anyways, where was I?" I then walk over to where the food was and asked how do I my food that I ordered? He seems confused so I tell him what I got and he starts to make it, meanwhile I have to walk to the other counter to retrieve a popcorn and soda I ordered. When returning to the previous counter the worker was talking to the manager about how he makes what I ordered, simple ice cream sandwich, so I ask her why our food and drinks were not delivered to our lane. She says we don't have anyone to serve it today, well, that's great and all but you need to put a sign up stating that fact so people aren't waiting around all day, just to not be served. I also would definitely not left any kind of tip if I knew I'd be walking around the whole inside to fetch my order and talk to a worthless manager. We will not be returning. Do better! When online, no where does it state that the "bowling" is nothing more than a 10' lane with pins on strings. While there's nothing wrong with mini bowling, charging $160 for two lanes for two hours is wildly more expensive than so many actual bowling options available. Went here with my family for Paddington goes to Peru. We waited 15 minutes to get popcorn, and we were first in line. Nobody working the counter for 15 straight minutes. Then when we get our bucket we go over to the self serve popcorn area and there's no popcorn. They said it would be out in a minute but low and behold almost a full 20 minutes into the movie I go back out for popcorn finally and it was still empty. Manager looked like he was sleeping in the back when he finally got to the counter. Eyes blurry and red. Too many employees doing absolutely nothing when customers are stacked up waiting for popcorn. You are a movie theatre and popcorn should be easy. Shame on whoever owns this business for letting it get so bad. read more

Do not come here for traditional bowling. I couldn't believe the laughable bowling area. Nowhere on the website does it say "mini" bowling. You're basically playing skee-ball. I reserved a lane online for an hour and a half. When we got there and saw that it was NOT the bowling experience we were expecting we decided to stick it out since we were already there. Not only is your reservation deposit ($60 for us) non-refundable but if your lane breaks down during your game don't expect a manager to help. We had 30 minutes left with a broken lane and we had to ask 3 times for someone to come help us. They never ended up fixing our lane or moving us to one that was working properly so one of the bar tenders tracked down a $20 game card for the arcade. That is not what we wanted. We paid for 1.5 hours of bowling and that is not what we got. read more

TDLR: Expensive, Understaffed, and DIRTY Unfortunately this was one of the worst movie theater experiences I've had. Concessions were understaffed. I paid $6 for a 32 oz fountain drink in a cheap styrofoam cup. The movie itself started exactly at the time listed on the ticket (no previews). This is atypical but we were given no notice of this when booking, though granted we booked through fandango. Missed the first 10 mins of the movie. The straw that broke the camel's back however was that the theater was absolutely TRASHED when we arrived. Almost every seat had leftover concessions from the last screening. Popcorn was all over the floor. And there was trash literally on my seat. Incredibly disappointed and disgusted. This place used to be decent when it first opened, but now it is just disgusting and you can tell that most of the people that work there do not care about the theater. I went to a late night viewing yesterday. When we walked in, we realized the theater had not been cleaned so there was food and trash and our seats and scattered throughout the theater. Not only that, but the air was not working so we had to sit through a movie and felt like a sauna. On top of that , my food was nasty and under seasoned in comparison to food, I have had there before and we did not get our full order. I had to go downstairs twice in order to get people inside to clean and to search for our popcorn and drinks which they left unattended at the concession stand. I don't know how that would even happen considering they're supposed to bring everything including drinks from the bar to your seat. This place has definitely gone down quickly, and I will not be attending this theater in the future. I should not have to miss most of my movie going back-and-forth to ask people to clean and hunt down my order! read more

If I could give zero I would. Fries were half frozen, my boyfriend got chips and salsa but no salsa instead he got ranch and ketchup. Drinks were supposed to be bottomless. When the waiter came back I told him about the fries (which he took away), asked for salsa for the chips and a soda refill for me. Hour later he comes back with no fries, a kiddy drink, and tosses honey sriracha sauce at my boyfriend then shrugs and walks off. I got charged for my entire meal ( no discount on the no fries) and the ketchup and ranch they gave my boyfriend that he didn't ask for. No manager in site. read more

They didn't even have buckets for popcorn so we were given flimsy bags instead. The butter leaked out all over and ruined the clothes my husband was wearing. The women's bathroom was disgusting- there was blood on the floor in several stalls and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few days. My girlfriend and I came here for a date night on Thursday to see the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie and let me tell you. We had a great time. Everything was clean and I received my food and drink order within 5 minutes. The lady's bathroom was out of hand soap but luckily my girlfriend had a bottle of hand sanitizer in her purse so she used that.
