Today I decided to try Nicholas creamery. I have been passing this establishment for at least a year. I had a craving for ice cream today and they had a coffee ice cream with specks of chocolate in it so I decided I decided to give it a try. I also had the kid throw some peanut butter chocolate topping that looked like crumbled brownie. Well, I was not disappointed because it was really good, really good and you could definitely taste the coffee in it. I have found a new ice cream place! I can just order a small cup and have it instead of buying a pint at a supermarket and eating the whole thing when I get home. They had a lot of different flavors and so I'm sure there's something for everyone there. I will stick to my coffee and I do plan to visit them again most likely very soon.

There was plenty of peanut butter flavor, but not too much where it was an issue. Oreos were a nice compliment. Root Beer - This tasted exactly like root beer and was unique being in ice cream form but could not have too much of it as I became tired of it quickly. Grandma's Strawberry Shortcake - This was homemade strawberry sweet cream with strawberry jam swirl and shortbread cookie pieces. This was alright. The crumb pieces were too large, and surprised there was not more of a strawberry taste. Mango Lassi - This was homemade Greek yogurt sweet cream with homemade mango jam swirl. I wished there was more mango. I liked the slight change with Greek yogurt being used and it was very apparent. The sugar and whatever else was used helped to offset the blandness of regular Greek yogurt.

That said, the shop itself appeared clean and well maintained. As for the ice cream, I thought it was good and enjoyed what I got. My family had mixed opinions on their selections, but overall I'd say it was decent and worth trying at least once. One complaint was that some of the candy toppings seemed stale, which was a little disappointing. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience by any means, and I'm glad we stopped in and gave it a shot. While the ice cream was good, I'm not sure it's a place I'd specifically go out of my way to visit again.

Overall, I think the coffee was good and so was the ice cream, but the manager or boss there was extremely disrespectful to both me and the worker and she definitely needs to apologize considering the fact that I've been there before and this worker has served me and did a completely great job. I just think this is a completely inappropriate response to an honest mistake that the employee made.
