    Chicken Caesar wrap w chips.
    Deb D.

Had dinner outside Friday night, hostess was friendly and we got seated quickly at 7pm. Pleasant outside, fire pit too created cool ambiance. The music was a bit loud for my liking and not a fan of the tunes playing but no big deal. Our waitress was super nice and our food came out quick. My chicken Caesar wrap was delicious, fresh and the dressing excellent, all balanced nicely in every bite. The chicken was fried, thought it would be grilled, but that's ok will specify next time. I ate half the wrap and remembered oh no, gotta take a pic before it's gone! The chips were tasty but a bit too oily for me. My husband loved his evviva salad w grilled chicken, fresh ingredients and vegetables. Great experience, will definitely return.

I normally love evivva, but was not happy when I opened my takeout box never had an issue with pizza when dining in, not sure what happened.

Walking in the ambiance reminded me of a over sized Papa Gino's , just plain. Waitress was very nice. We were served bread and oil. We both ordered the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and cavatapi. Large portions and was surprisingly good. The sauce was not watery and chicken was lightly breaded. Priced reasonably

This place is like the Olive Garden 2.0; a chain restaurant with average food that will do in a pinch. My friend affectionately referred to the food as "generico italiano"... My husband and I came here for dinner with friends. We started with the meatballs. They were good, but just average at best. I've had better but I've also had worse. For my entree, I ordered the eggplant milanese. Our server tried to give me a chicken parm sandwich and looked very surprised when I said that's not what I ordered. How odd! This was a first for me and I understand mistakes happen so it wasn't a big deal. Both the server & manager were very apologetic. When my meal finally did come, it was just ok. I appreciated that the eggplant was very thin but it was also very greasy and not very crispy. The salad that came with it had delicious dressing but it was mostly greens and not enough pickled pears & goat cheese. Overall, I think you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere...

Oysters were fresh and briny, octopus was very tender and the Chilean sea bass entree was a hit. My mom ordered the swordfish and although it was also tasty, if you're debating between the two fishes, definitely go with the sea bass. Hubby's 2 lb cowboy steak was impressive and cooked perfectly with plenty leftover. The kids' meals and all the sides were enormous, enough to feed an army. The dinner went off without a hitch and our server surprised us with a mile high chocolate cake on the house. Very memorable night and I would highly recommend for a date night or a special occasion.

Sunday evenings you would think aren't usually busy, but this past Sunday was crowded but luckily there were open seats at the bar. We love sitting at the bar. It's like a front row seat to all the action! They also have a great wine list. I ordered a glass from Burgundy and my husband had a beer. We skipped the starters and went straight to the entrees. I had their Roasted Cod which I did enjoy but lacked a bit of flavor. Although the sauce that came with it was superb! My husband had their Burger which looked nice and juicy. Oh and they have the best fries too. I couldn't help myself in grabbing just one. If you have not yet been to Alba on 53 then I highly recommend you add this as your next date night spot! Cheers~

When we arrived just before 7 the restaurant was busy not not full. Our server, as he passed our table, said he would be right with us. We waited. And waited. And patiently. Because I could see our server. He was at a table of 7 and I knew he wasn't forgetting or ignoring us. Then he was at a table of 4. Then one of 5. Then ANOTHER that appeared to be about 7 people again. He also had at least 4 two tops. I couldn't see far enough behind me to expand on that count. When he did come to us, an undisclosed amount of time later, he was kind and thorough and not at all showing the stress I'm sure he was feeling. I saw only one other server the entire time we were there and I'm sure he was taking all of the tables in the dining room we couldn't see. I'm sorry I cannot remember our servers name. Both men were bald and one was wearing glasses. Ours was the one without the spectacles. He remained busy through our meal, and we enjoyed the entire thing. Burrata with prosciutto to start, and then a Wellington to split. Both were phenomenal. The drinks were amazing, even with accommodations for one ingredient I am allergic to. At one point one of our cocktail glasses was broken accidentally by someone not at our table and it felt like the entire FOH staff (all 5 of them lol) came to help clean up and make sure everything was cool. They were all so kind and had smiles on, even though I'm sure they were still too swamped to clean up the mess. Honestly, for our very first visit I'm sure I could have been upset at the wait and complained that our server was too busy, but erring on the side of caution I prefer to presume it was either an unusually busy night or someone had called out, leaving the restaurant short -staffed. Kudos to the whole team for working together and keeping positive attitudes on the floor. We loved our experience and look forward to returning.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.
