But the warranty, support afterwards, and customer service leave a lot to be desired. The shade goes from my house to about a foot inside of my property boundary wall. It's doing a great job and seems to be creating cooler pool water. It is extremely durable and has been tested now by two major dust/monsoon storms with high wind. It handled it like a champ! No issues at all. While here they explain in the 7 years since I last used them they've expanded their offerings to Sun Protection including sunscreens and outdoor sun protection roller shades. I had no idea and while I had no needs in those areas I casually mentioned a problem I was having to see if they could offer a solution.. My house has a flat patio roof like many here in Phoenix, with stucco pony walls that direct water to one drain. The flat part is in good shape but the top of the stucco pony walls have deteriorated badly, to the point that one can see rusted chicken wire in the deteriorating stucco. (See before pictures). My house was scheduled to be painted and I knew even repairing the damaged stucco and painting it wasn't going to be a good long term fix. While I knew standard rain gutters weren't the answer, I asked Andre if he could think of a solution to prevent future sun deterioration as well as water intrusion to the top of those walls. He quickly grabbed a ladder, took some measurements and notes and came up with a proposal on the spot. You can see the results in the 'After Pictures. They fabricated a custom cap out of aluminum that covers the top of the wall from end to end. The installation is beautiful and looks as it was always part of the plan. In actuality it should have been. I can't thank Andre and Phoenix Rain Gutters and Sun Protection enough for their creativity, craftsmanship and excellence. Strongly recommend them for standard jobs and even for consultation about solutions to outdoor sun and rain issues.

His colleagues came out the next day to check and get details. They promised to start the job on Friday. Friday morning, three friendly, nice guys showed up and started working. They were professional, respective of our property and very nice to work with. They made helpful suggestions. And they finished that day! They didn't have to come back the following week. While this provides us with spectacular views, it made it virtually impossible to enjoy our backyard for the hottest months of the year. We knew we needed to find a durable shade solution and our search culminated in a phone call to Patio Partners, in Surprise. We scheduled a consultation with Jim Doyle, who came out and helped us imagine what type of structure would work best for our home. We received a fair proposal, which was less than other companies who never bothered to drive out to Sun City Festival. Rather, they quoted off the size I said I wanted and a copy of our plot plan. We entered into an agreement with Patio Partners, and they began the permitting process with the city of Buckeye. Another thing you can say about living in Arizona is the wind is one of your constant companions. To ensure that any structure doesn't get blown away, code requires you to dig massive footings for each post that will support the structure. Our patio cover is fifty-five feet wide and extends from our house from eleven feet to twenty-one feet with a span of over thirty feet between the two furthest posts. The crew from Patio Partners had to dig six of these footings around our existing hardscape. They managed to do this without harming any of our plants or the Travertine border around our yard because they dug these footings by hand. The pergola went up in a couple of days after the footings were poured and it looks spectacular. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are five-star (like this review) because they have great people who take pride in what they do. My wife and I highly recommend this company and encourage you to give them a call if you need any shade solutions.
