Do not use the ATM in Curtner drive-through! I took my money and the bank did not return in yet! It has been three working days. I have not received a call from them. I originally gave them one star Stephanie, the manager at the branch called me. I have been with Excite as a customer since 2020. I have worked in banking for over 15 years. I have never felt more scammed and slapped in the face than banking here. I have on multiple occasions begged the employees even sent in a form to have my account not allow negative transactions due to fraud and I continue to be charged fees. I Called right now and I could almost cry the way the girl did not even bother to figure out why the form I sent in wasn't used And told me to do it again. I know have $600 fees within the past 2 weeks. I am seeking legal advice. this seems to cruel especially in this time. read more

6 years of auto loan customer service finally over. EVERY time I had to call a customer service rep, I was always lucky enough to have someone having their worst day possible. Every rep I spoke to in 6 years was rude and had zero customer service skills. I just got off the phone and finally asked for my payoff amount to just be done with them and the representative sent an email with my payoff amount and had her name in the email. For fun, I looked her up on Facebook and her first picture is a picture of her flipping off her earring and the earring was two words: "f*** off". Super normal, but I wasn't surprised after speaking with her that this is the kind of person this credit union hires. Do yourself a favor and find anybody else to fund your auto loan. I have been making deposits here for over a decade on a monthly basis on behalf of my clients to both Excite as well as branch shared deposits. After left waiting for over 20 minutes today, I was told that I cannot deposit a check from a company that I own into someone else's account. My debit card has been compromised 3 times in 6 months, and it is only used at ATMs for withdrawals. Nothing else. I am well aware of vulnerabilities associated with outdoor ATMs, but I use my Chase debit card for EVERYTHING..Amazon, other online purchases, at gas stations, etc. I haven't had this happen with my Chase card in years. My choices are: go to the branch to get a card or wait 2-3 weeks to get it by mail. Yeah...2-3 weeks. I called the only number listed for Excite, and it is an 800 number that goes to a call center. THERE IS NO WAY TO REACH THE BRANCH DIRECTLY. So, I take time off work to go there on Saturday. The cashier begins our transaction in English, then suddenly starts talking in Spanish. I assume he's talking to someone else, since we had been talking in English. He just stood and stares at me. Says "I'm talking to you, and you are just on your phone." Then proceeds to say "he is used to people being bilingual." Um..wow! So after giving their standard spiel about "there's nothing they can do; just need to be careful about ATMs." Then they tell me their card printing machine is down. Remember, there is no way to reach the branch directly to verify when it might be working again. I will be looking for another credit union. This is not working out well, and is becoming much more of an inconvenience than anything else. read more

Brutal customer service. Took like 3 months to get my money out bc of all the random holds they kept placing and spoke to 1 helpful agent out of the 9 that I talked to. Submitted 2 different account closure request forms and nothing came of them. Heard that they were "processing" the request but nothing after that both times. Finally just had to slowly transfer small parts of my account at a time (and wasn't even able to do a next day transfer without some sort of error occurring). read more

This review is a long time coming. I have banked with this bank since I was a wee lad, about 15 to be exact! Every single person that I have met at this location is incredible! They are always very willing to help me with simple things such as a withdrawl or deposit, to something sensitive like getting a new card. They are always very fast and friendly at this location. EVERY SINGLE TIME i have come here, I actually always left a happy person. Just the other day, I went to get a new credit card because I had misplaced one, and in minutes, they went about giving me a new one. I don't even have to pay a fee to have it replaced because I have accumulated points for using my card. The system they have here works, and isn't very complicated. This has been my credit union for the last 6 years. The customer service from the team has always been friendly and welcoming. In particular I go to Chris to assist with loan or account questions. My first loan was in 2012 on another vehicle and it went smooth. The points that stood out to me for the loan is the grace period of 10 days. If you can't make the payment on the due date, I had 10 days to make the payment and not have a penalty. Chris every loan I did, was through when explaining what the loan was and what I was signing up for. I was comfortable with my purchase and felt reassured with my loan. read more

I had first made a phone call and spoke to Mayra, she was able to contact the branch I was at to see if anyone had turned in a phone. She was very helpful with getting a quick response back to me! she was always very positive in a stressful situation. I went back to the curtner branch to be extra sure and met with Jess the Assistant financial Center Manger! Jess not only gave me excillent customer service but really went above and beyond to help me find my phone! I even received an update phone call reassuring me I didn't loose it there. The urgency that these ladies had to help me was incredible, and the follow up was very much appreciate! The service is fast even when making transactions for a different credit union. **I should note that currently, due to Covid, the credit union is clearing all pending deposits almost immediately. I have been a member for many years but today they just lost one more customer. The straw that broke the camel's back: I used their bill pay service to make my car payment and the payment never arrived. I had to call to stop payment and have my funds put back into my account and they were going to CHARGE ME $29 to do that! I had to argue to get their fee waived, and when they finally did agree to waive it, the rep tried to word it like she was doing me a favor. In what universe does it seem like a good idea to charge the customer for their own bill pay service failing? By the way, I found out they use a 3rd party company to send out their bill pay checks to creditors who do not accept electronic payments. The 3rd party is located on the East Coast, and they claim no responsibility for the payment reaching your creditor once the check leaves the 3rd party. I spoke to one Alliance rep and she told me there was a guarantee that all payments sent through their bill pay service would reach the creditor, then I spoke to another Alliance rep who told me the opposite - mind you, these calls were about 45 minutes apart. Terrible customer service. They were no help at all in getting this mess sorted out. Do yourself a favor and use SCCFCU (if you are eligible) where they know how to treat people, or CEFCU which is also worlds better than Alliance. It's actually sad how far they have fallen from when I first signed up. Their customer service was amazing years ago. It's a shame. read more
